As Harry's emotions slowly work themselves out, Ron and Hermione try to be there for him, but Harry still feels so isolated that he's hesitant to really let them in. As Harry receives a rather unpleasant surprise on his birthday, however, he finds that he needs to start sharing his burdens - or else risk being crushed beneath the weight of them.
Chapter 03
05/05/2005Once Harry shares the burden of the prophecy with Ron and Hermione, his conscious mind feels some relief - but his unconscious mind is quite another story. Chapter 06
05/25/2005Due to the mass escape of Death Eaters from Azkaban, Cornelius Fudge has finally been ousted and Kingsley Shacklebolt has taken his place. Things in the outside world are getting way too frightening to think about, so the students at Hogwarts (including Harry) turn their minds to something more safe and innocuous - like Quidditch. Of course, Harry's favorite occupation should prove to be a great stress-reliever - if he can survive until the end of match, that is.
