Story Summary:
Hogwarts seems to be the only place in Europe not under attack by Death Eaters, and it may be next. Lines have been drawn, sides are being chosen, and the entire wizarding world is being engulfed in a civil war. And caught in the middle, Harry Potter begins his sixth year at Hogwarts, and begins to learn more about his Mum and Dad, Professor Snape, and how a medallion he inherited from Sirius may have once belonged to one of the founders of Hogwarts. As he digs into the medallion’s origins and powers, he learns that his final battle with Voldemort may have been foreseen over a thousand years ago by the very same founder, but the one thing he knows for sure is that all the answers he seeks are hidden deep within the Tomb of Hogwarts.

Harry's 6th summer holiday brings many surprises, including some parting gifts from his late godfather. One, a small medallion, once belonged to one of the Hogwarts Founders, and Harry soon learns this medallion holds secrets of it's own. But the medallion's mysteries are forgotten when a Death Eater attack occurs on the very first day of school. And when he finally gets to Hogwarts he finds it inhabbited by strangers with 2 familiar faces including the new DADA professor. Add a new Duelling Class, new training with McGonagall and Dumbledore, love, and being named Quidditch Captain and Harry’s got a very full plate. But the medallion has plans of its own, invoking strange dreams which draw Harry ever closer to The Tomb of Hogwarts.

Harry hasn't much cared for the Ministry of Magic over the past few years, so when he finds out that he must go there to meet with Minister of Magic Cornelius Fudge in order to complete the change of ownership of Grimmauld Place, he is none to happy. Luckily, he finds help with composing himself from his new Godfather, Remus Lupin, and Hogwarts Headmaster Albus Dumbledore. After speaking to them for only a few minutes, he feels prepared to confront the same man who had caused him so much grief over the past three years.

A feather floats in the air just over the head of Harry's cousin Dudley who is currently holding Harry's wand. But how could Dudley possiblely be able to use a wand? What could it mean? But when they arrive at the famed train station, they come upon a the most disturbing sight Harry had witnessed since the return of Lord Voldemort. It's De Ja Vu as Harry watches in horror as Death Eaters prance around, terrorizing any Muggles they might find, playing with them as though they were dolls. And what comes next is a series of events which will surely go down in history. Assuming, that is, that anyone survives.

Charlie's the new Defense Against the Dark Arts Teacher? If nothing else today has surprised Harry, this most certainly has. And though it's already after dark, Harry's day isn't even half done. And then, if he hasn't already been through quite enough, after all of the announcements and festivities of the first meal back at Hogwarts, Harry's scheduled to have a nice long talk with Dumbledore afterwards.
