08/01/2005Back at Privet Drive, Harry realises he needs to find a way to learn whatever it takes to defeat Voldemort. There's only one person he can turn to with the knowledge, experience and contacts to help him.

08/10/2005Dumbledore talks to Snape about Harry's Occlumency lessons and finds out that he's been betrayed. Harry gets letters from his friends and an unexpected telephone call.

08/11/2005Harry has a vision which is more informative than horrifying for once, meets with Dumbledore again and receives his OWL results.

09/16/2005Dumbledore looks into Harry's memories of life with the Dursleys and decides he needs to share the information with certain mambers of staff; Harry hears about his friends' OWLs.

09/27/2005Harry has a long chat with Tonks, a confrontation with his relatives, and a strange man comes to his rescue. He learns a little bit about wizarding politics and gets a surprise when he reads the Prophet.

10/21/2005Harry finds out that the prophecy might not be as clear as he'd originally thought, and learns what he might face instead of a duel to the death. Meanwhile, Dumbledore's arranged for a novel way for him to spend the summer out from under the supposed care of his relatives whilst still being able to rely on the blood protection.

11/04/2005Harry gets a day off from his training to pick up supplies from Diagon Alley and enjoys the opportunity to be out and about.

11/14/2005Harry reflects on his day out with Tonks and starts learning Occlumency - properly this time. He also learns about John's suspicions of Snape's motives for his previous teaching methods.

11/24/2005Once again, Harry finds out that the slightest thing gets him mentioned in the Prophet, and he's not happy with one of Diagon Alley's most renowned establishments. Privet Drive hosts a Potions lesson that makes Harry wonder how anyone manages to pass their OWLs.

12/12/2005Harry gets a letter from Minister Fudge that forces him into what some of his friends would think is a rather drastic response. Moody gets a bit of a shock when he and John Christopher try experimenting with some of Harry's talents.

12/31/2005Harry gets a break from his summer at Privet Drive to visit Hermione and meet up with Ron and Ginny and they have a quite enjoyable evening until it's rudely interrupted.

01/11/2006Harry's visit to Hermione's house is rudely interrupted and Tonks and the teenagers have to deal with it themselves. Later Hermione asks Harry if she can see a rather unpleasant memory in the Pensieve.

01/28/2006After seeing Voldemort's rebirth in Harry's pensieve, Tonks, Hermione and Harry talk about the aftermath; Dumbledore gets a visit from a rather irate Cornelius Fudge; Harry meets a new tutor.

02/13/2006Harry gets lessons with his new tutor, talks politics with Tonks, and has a vision featuring the mysterious man. He corresponds with Ginny and finds that even his private letter to the Minister can find its way into the Daily Prophet.

02/24/2006Harry starts to learn about elemental magic and goes to The Burrow for his birthday with a metamorphmagus on his arm. Tension between Ron and Hermione threatens to spoil the day though.

04/01/2006Harry learns a bit more about the candidates for the election for Minister over breakfast at The Burrow, and the victorious candidate starts to make his mark. Harry's asked to attend a hearing at the Ministry into the events in the Department of Mysteries.

05/18/2006An eventful journey on the Hogwarts Express is punctuated by a confrontation with Malfoy, a conversation with Cho Chang, and explanations of Harry's summer for Neville and Luna.
