Basketcase

A weekly issued Hogwarts newspaper… a wine-drinking, guitar-playing Draco… a frantic, stressed and sleep-deprived Hermione… a clichéd yet not-so-clichéd talent show…. And in between it all, a romance blooms. DMHG

After a Heads meeting with Dumbledore and Draco, Hermione takes a soothing bath... but walking across the Common Room, she hears some unexpected noises coming from Draco's room....

After a Herbology accident with a poisonous flower, Hermione finds herself in the Hospital Wing and finds out who had saved her. Draco Malfoy pays a visit, and a spat arises.

Hermione is troubled and upset from Draco's words, and so she shuts herself out from her friends and peers. Fed up, Ron explodes at breakfast whilst Harry and Ginny are trying to make Hermione feel better. And from Ron's sudden outburst, Hermione reveals that she, also, was lit on a short fuse that morning.

Hermione and Ron are ignoring each other, and Harry asks her to apologize so that everything would go back to their regular terms. Hermione refuses, but reassures Harry that she'd put a stop to it if it went on too long without any accountable reason. Draco comes out of the shadows, and Hermione takes a trip to the Hospital Wing, where someone reminds her of her forgotten assignment as a Head.

Hermione finishes up her forgotten assignment, and forces the Head Boy to cooperate with her.

Hermione discusses the paper with Draco, and another matter of the discrimination of the Houses arise. Draco voices out his opinion and reveals the truth of the Slytherins and Gryffindors, and Hermione is left to stare after him, shocked. She knows that he is right.

Hermione apologizes to Draco through an owl.
