CHAPTER 11

Harry and Ron did nothing after the letter to Dumbledore was sent. They weren't allowed out of the room, and there wasn't anything in the room to use as a means of entertainment. Ginny had waken up shortly after they owl left, but she couldn't help curb their boredom.

"I'm so bored. I wish Malfoy would hurry up," Ron whined.

Harry looked over and could see that Ginny was clearly aggravated. "Shut up, Ron!" she shouted. "It's only eleven o'clock, Draco won't be back for another hour! If you're so bored, why don't you try to entertain yourself? Staring out the window isn't exactly what I would call exciting."

Ron shot Ginny a dirty look as he stood up, walked into the bathroom, and slammed the door.

"Well, if that's how you're going to act, fine then," Ginny said quietly.

Harry wondered what Ron was doing in the bathroom. Surely he wasn't mad enough at Ginny to lock himself in there.

After several minutes, Ron emerged from the bathroom.

"What were you doing in there?" Ginny questioned.

"For your information, I was going to the bathroom! Can't someone go to the bathroom without being interrogated?" Ron answered angrily.

Harry was becoming extremely annoyed with the bickering between Ron and Ginny. "Will you both stop? Not only are you bothering each other, you're making me go mad!"

Ginny and Ron both looked embarrassed. "I'm sorry, Harry," Ginny replied while looking at her feet.

Ginny walked to an arm chair and sat down. The next hour was silent until Draco came running into the room.

"Draco, why are you all out of breath? Were you running?" Ginny asked.

"No, I just get this tired from walking leisurely around the castle!" Draco replied sarcastically. "I was running because I think that Elin and a few other people saw me take extra food. I don't want them to be suspicious."

"Food? Where is it?" Ron said hurriedly as he stood up.

"Calm down, Weasel, I'll give it to you," Draco said.

Ron lunged towards Draco. "What happened to the Draco we saw last night and this morning? You know, the one that was actually nice to us? I knew it was too good to be true!"

Harry grabbed the back of Ron's shirt. "Ron, stop it, okay? We need to be at least civil with one another."

"Yeah, Ron," Draco said. "And for your information, just being at this school puts me in a rotten mood, so let's hurry up and find a way to get out with Hermione."

The thought of getting to eat almost made Ron forget about Hermione. How would they get her out without everyone getting killed? Draco interrupted Ron's thoughts by handing him a plate full of sliced ham and small red potatoes. "That's for everyone, so don't eat it all," Draco said.

"Don't worry, I won't," Ron replied, as he dished out some ham and potatoes for Ginny, Harry and himself.

When he handed a plate to Ginny, she set it down and went into the bathroom.

Ron leaned over and whispered to Harry. "I think that Ginny has a crush on Draco."

"Ha! Ginny? A crush on Draco?" Harry laughed. "I seriously doubt it. Doesn't she like me, anyway?"

"She may, but I was just thinking about how she's been treating Draco. She's worn his pajamas, gave him hugs, and even slept in his bed. She doesn't seem to upset about any of those," Ron answered.

"Man, that's kind of scary, especially since Draco likes Hermione," Harry said.

Ron shrugged. "I guess we'll never know."
