Without Warning

Lily Evans is like any other sixth year Hogwarts sudent. She's worried about upcoming exams, the end of year ball, and staying away from that pesky James Potter and his legioins. But what if that could change, without warning?

Why was Lily more thoroughly annoyed with James than normal? Well lets just say it was a bit of a 'sticky' situation...

Somebody gets asked to the Celebratory Ball by the head boy. James puts his 'charms' into practice.

Severus Snape is the main topic of conversation in the girls' dormitory room after an interesting Divination lesson and someone asking him to the Celebratory Ball.

Lily and Indigo have a fight of sorts, Lily has a midnight encounter which causes a change of heart.

Snape has a curious encounter with Malfoy in the Slytherin common room. At breakfast, Indigo interrogates Lily over her new found peace with James.

Sirius is shocked by who Remus has asked to the Ball, Indigo indluges in a little manipulation and an incident on the Quidditch Pitch causes James to pop the question.

Snape accepts Malfoy's "lucrative" invitation, Lily accompanies an unconscious James to the Hospital Wing.

Whilst in Hogsmeade, Lily has a confrontation with Bellatrix Black that ends in a painful curse. Later that night, Lily gives James a thank-you gift he is unlikely to forget in a hurry.
