Harry Potter and the Book of Magical Maladies

Harry and his friends deal with changes as the wizarding world prepares for the oncoming war. The Order grows even larger as everyone waits for Voldemort's first move. Harry is forced to spend another summer with the Dursleys, seperated from his friends and kept in the dark by the Order. He is isolated from the wizarding world, yet he alone may know what is to come.

Harry's had nightmares for years now, but nothing quite like the dreams he's been having. When simple nightmares turn into something a little more sinister, Harry is left wondering if there is anyone who he can trust to help him understand what is happening.

Harry's concerns about the Order are confirmed, but his ally turns out to be much more devoted to the cause than he expected. Still, his new insight into the workings of the Order pose more questions than they answer, and fail to answer the question he is most eager to have answered.

As his dreams take another twist, Harry and the Order are scrambling to try and understand what it means. Harry is left to sit and wait for news while Ginny faces some of the perils of her decisions.

While the Order works to decipher his vision, Harry is again left without any news or explanation. Can the Order find the family in time? Is there anyone to find, or is it all just a game created by Voldemort to test Harry's skill in Occlumency?

As the Order deals with its failure to stop Voldemort's most recent attack, Harry discovers that the worst is not yet over. What didn't Harry see? What really happened? It seems that no one really knows, and Harry's best chance for answers may come from Privet Drives newest magical inhabitants.

With Voldemort's first victims finally found, the Order has to deal with their own failure to protect an innocent family. Why were they attacked? Why did Voldemort hate them so much? While Dumbledore breaks the news to the Order, Harry is left to ponder the Dursleys' newest neighbors, and Ginny finds out just how much the Order knows about the most recent attack.

Harry takes some time to introduce himself to his newest fans, and learns that he's got more friends willing to help him than just Ginny.

Ginny has to face the repercussions of her actions. The Order is eager to learn anything she might have kept from them, and Harry is equally eager to learn anything they have been keeping from him. Ginny has to make a decision over who to betray. If she betrays Harry's trust and tells the Order what they want to know, Harry may never talk to her again, but if she betrays the Order, they might make sure she never talks to anyone.
