"Oh Draco!" Parvati smiled. "You're so funny." He kissed her on the cheek.

"And sweet! I wish I'd know what I'd been missing out on all these years."

She smiled lovingly into his eyes. "Draco?" Parvati asked looking concerned. "Draco what's wrong?"

Well only the fact that I'm in love with my archrival's girlfriend, I killed my possessed father and I'm not actually in love with you, everything else is peachy!

"Nothing, everything is fine!" He smiled at her. Damn I'm good at this lying thing.

"Hermione and I were going to this place and we..." Parvati rambled.

Mmm... Hermione. She is so different to Parvati. No offence to Parvati but, well who could actually stand listening to her for long? I wonder how long I have until she realises I'm NOT actually listening to..."

"Draco? DRACO are you even listening?" she glared.

"Sure honey you were saying how you and Hermione..."

"Draco that was ten minutes ago. How can I...?"

Draco leaned forward and kissed her passionately on the lips. The only way to shut her up was to kiss her. "Is that better?" he asked her huskily.

How can anyone resist me he thought to himself? He glanced up the stairs and saw Hermione in her haunting beauty. "Sorry Draco," Parvati blurted. "Anyway Hermione and I ..."

"Draco, are you even listening to me?" Hermione watched longingly from the top of the stairs. Draco was so cute when he was daydreaming. In a way Hermione felt sorry for him.

Parvati wasn't the most attentive person in the school. Crookshanks had followed her downstairs and was purring loudly. "Hello sweetie pie," she crooned.

She was meeting Ginny in Hogsmeade at ten O'clock She'd have to get a move on if she didn't want to be late.

Hermione walked out on to the grounds with their heavy cloaks on. Hermione understood why they called it a winter wonderland. Everywhere was sparkling like a million diamonds had fallen to earth and clustered.

Hagrid's hut looked like a Christmas card. The only thing that stood out from the glittering white was Ginny's fiery-red hair.

Ginny was the only other one who knew about her being head over heels in love with Draco (On the front page of the diary she had written Mrs. Draco Malfoy repeatedly.)

"Why can't you just tell him how you feel?" Hermione stood in shock for a few seconds.

"Why would I want to do that?" Hermione shuddered at the thought of it. She remembered back in the fourth year how hard it was to tell Viktor she wasn't in love with him. He understood but she had been feeling guilty for two years.

Just ahead of her was the main street of Hogsmeade. She would have to remember to buy some fizzing whizzbees for Ron.

They walked into 'The Three Broomsticks' the familiar smell of Floo powder and Butterbeer filled her nose. It was always so packed in there.

"Oh my god its Harry, hide!"

"Why?" Ginny looked at her bewilderedly.

"Because I told him I was too sick to go with him to Hogsmeade today."

Harry was sitting at a table with Seamus, Dean and Ron. They were laughing and chatting. The bell tinkled and in swaggered Draco with his usual fan club of Ravenclaw girls. Hermione could almost see the drool dripping on the floor.

"Ginny we are getting out of here NOW!" She got up and walked straight into Draco.
