Voldemort was defeated, and the entire wizarding world rejoiced. No longer are they living in fear, and horizon is no longer dark; the future is looking hopeful and promising. And yet, not everyone is able to be optimistic -- unable to do naught but dwell on the devastation suffered, Ginny Weasley finds herself withdrawing from the world around her, distancing herself from everyone she knows in the belief that they can't and won't comprehend how she feels, not when prospects are finally starting to look so bright after so long.
