Dark Lord's Little Helper

When Ginny is stuck with Draco for the summer, she uncovers a plot to kill Harry, and discovers an unlikely ally in the demanding aristocrat. But being seen as a little girl and the son of a former Death Eater can really put a damper on the victory parade. How will they get anyone to believe them, when they don’t even trust each other? Draco realizes he’s to be given over to the Dark Lord to join his army and have a ‘man’ made out of him, he does the right thing and becomes a 'conscientious objector.' Turning to Dumbledore, he is placed temporarily with the Weasleys, who do their best to make his life a nightmare.

Now that Draco has fled his cowardly parents, he’s going to need somewhere to stay. Can anyone say, Ritz-Carlton, please? However, Draco’s accommodations are up to Dumbledore, and he feels the boy would benefit from a trip to the Burrow.

Draco Malfoy, Aristocrat and traitor to the Dark Lord, is stuck at the Burrow until school starts. Ginny is certain Draco is up to no good. Draco is certain that Ginny is crazy. They might both be right.

In which Harry screams in the night, Ginny and Draco overhear, a sandwich is eaten, and Draco most definitely does not flirt. He merely adapts to a difficult situation by attempting to create an ally out of Ginny. Yeah, thatÕs it.

In which much weeding is done, a prank is played, and Draco and Ginny discuss ‘winning’ vs. ‘losing.’ Which is not as clear cut as you might think.

Ginny takes the initiative to find out what’s going on, and Draco sulks. Since the Order is having a meeting, Ginny figures it's the perfect time to try to get to the bottom of things. Unfortunately, she's not the only one prowling around...

Draco and Ginny head back to Hogwarts, where they will have to work hard if they want to continue to see each other. Meanwhile, others are working hard to make sure neither Draco nor Harry survive the school year.
