[AU] When Voldemort tries to force Harry to duel in the graveyard at the conclusion of the Triwizard Tournament, things take an entirely different direction as Fate steps in to meddle.
The Duel That Wasn't.
Bedtime Stories: Where Harry meets some unusual people in a very familiar place.
Where Salazar takes Heru firmly in hand.
Where the Slytherin family shows signs of expansion.
Heru gets chosen for more than just one thing.
Heru and married life make an uneasy truce.
Tragedy strikes the family, and Salazar does a few things he probably should not have.
Heru is forced to admit some things to Caedryn he had hoped would not come up.
Heru returns to his own time, but where?
Cat & Mouse: Albus and Severus come into the picture.
Playing at Innocence: Wherein Severus calls Heru on his games.
Unexpected Reactions: Heru finds several things from the past, and Severus goes on a bit of a field trip with him.
Trading Favors: Severus has a request, but Heru has one of his own.
Distant Memories: Mark is made an offer he can't refuse, and Heru shares some of the past with both Severus and Albus.
Requests Abound: Heru finishes his conversation with Albus, and Severus gains something irrational.
Speaking in Tongues: Heru finds someone new to talk to.
End Juxtoposition: What happened to Harry after the Third Task becomes known.
Ordered Actions: A meeting of the minds, in more ways than one.
Grimmauld Place: Just a simple rennovation, really.
Blood and Bone: A meeting, a request, and the odd tapestry or two.
Class Action: Heru has his first class, and Dolores Umbridge arrives on the scene as well.
An Unexpected Chat: Voldemort gets a bit of a surprise.
Unwilling Confessions: So, what DOES one do with a rat, hm?
Declarations: More than one person declares their interest, but not all of it is innocent.
One Clue Too Many: Heru really hasn't been as careful as he should have been, and someone sees fit to test a theory or two on the many clues left behind.
Finessing Situations: Several of Heru's wishes are granted, and he's not the only one pleased by that.
Bad Faith: Heru gets one step closer to his goal, and feels a bit of amusement at Lucius Malfoy's expense.
Bad Faith Revisited: Both Malfoy males appear, and both are quite as you might expect them.
Sins of the Father: Heru has a bit more fun at Lucius's expense, and gets the odd bonus in the bargain. However, several members of the Order aren't quite so lucky.
Territorial Exploration: Certain tapestries reveal some rather interesting information, and Heru receives an invitation, allowing him to meet a new friend.
Fishing Expedition: Heru makes like a professor and explains a number of things, though it does place a bit of a strain on him.
Out of Sorts: You might say that Heru isn't quite himself. On the other hand, a nosy someone satisfies a bit of personal curiosity.
Mirror Linking: Voldemort boldly makes a move, and Heru is chastised by an annoyed Severus.
Keeping Secrets: Sirius and Remus drop by for a visit, and Remus is rather too clever for his own good.
Itsy Bitsy Spider: Heru is able to enjoy himself even more at Lucius's expense, which of course, is always a good thing.
Complication: Poor, poor Malfoy, and in two flavors!
Skipping Along: This covers so much, I don't know where to start. Voldemort, Lucius, Draco . . . it's a whole posse of serpents.
Personal Playgrounds: Part of the plan is revealed, and Voldemort turns out to be a swell guy--really.
Slytherin Solution: Heru has a simply delightful time and goes so far as to . . . give a little lesson in history?
Ripples in the Pond: Tying up loose ends.
