Harry Potter's list of why Ron and Hermione should stop being stubborn and just bloody snog each other senseless!

Long title for a list, I know, but I wanted it to explain itself, you know? Anyway...

  1. They obviously like each other; why else would they be on each other's backs all the time?

  1. They are bloody annoying to the rest of Gryffindor when they get into one of their little spats.

  1. Hermione is becoming obsessed about MY love life. "Oh, Harry, she's pretty, why don't you ask her to go to Hogsmeade with you?"

  1. Ron keeps asking me if Hermione talks about him while he's not there. (She does, by the way.)

  1. I'M getting annoyed of the fact that they keep shooting each other shy glances across the table.

  1. Ron is seriously going to get hurt if he keeps reacting so much when Malfoy calls Hermione a Mudblood.

  1. The next Hogsmeade weekend is coming up soon, and if I have to sit through ONE MORE of Hermione's jealous "cold shoulder" treatments because Ron is trying to impress madam Rosmerta I'm going to go mad and start trying to shag Malfoy.

  1. Hermione has started Confunding every Quidditch player who tries to get the Quaffle in Ron's goal. The teachers WILL notice eventually.

  1. Mrs. Weasly has started pestering me for news on whether Ron has asked Hermione out.

  1. Hermione is going to new lengths every day to try and impress Ron.

Ron and Hermione stared at each other. "Well, er, now we know what Harry gets up to when we're not around!" said Ron, making a valiant attempt to lighten the atmosphere. "Do you think what Harry wrote is true? I mean, do you really think we should 'snog each other senseless'?" Hermione said, frowning. "Well..." said Ron shyly. "I do think you're very pretty."

"And I do have a thing for tall boys..."

* * *

When Harry came back from the owlery where he had been talking to Hedwig about his plan on letting them find his list, it was to see them tangled in an armchair by the fire, doing, well, doing what his list suggested. He coughed. "Harry!" Hermione squeaked. "We didn't hear you come in!"

"Well, you looked a little bit...preoccupied." Harry smiled. Hermione blushed.

"I'm so sorry about that Harry! It was...it was a spur of the moment thing, you know?"

"Don't apologize! I'm actually glad you finally got a move on."

"Wait..." said Ron. "When did you first realize I liked Hermione?"

"Oh about, I dunno, the second you met her?"

Hermione hit him on the arm. "Well, I'll leave you two to it shall I?" Harry asked mischievously. Ron looked slightly pleased with himself. Hermione seemed unnerved by the fact that Harry knew the liked each other before they themselves were aware of the fact. "If you want the boys' dorm, I can sleep on the couch in the common room, Seamus, Dean and Neville are all at Slughorn's party." This earned him another smack from Hermione. He just smiled and headed back out the common room door. Maybe he could see if Ginny was up for a bit of late night "broom" riding...
