Meghling

The Potters were the only family Sirius ever cared about. Last night they were killed along with Voldemort and he is the only one who knows who was responsible. This is Sirius' version of the events that end with him going to prison and Peter getting away.

At the end of The Prisoner of Azkaban, Sirius tells Dumbledore the truth about everything.

James is tried of keeping secrets from Lily. One night he asks his friends for permission to tell the biggest one of all. Remus might be friends with Lily, but there's just some things he doesn't want her to know about him.

This takes place right after we see Sirius leave Harry and Dumbledore at the end of Goblet of Fire. Sirius meets up with Remus to call together the Order of the Phoenix.
