Who They Became

Lunagood_aka_Julz

Story Summary:
It's funny, what kind of people became Death Eaters. Mudbloods, half-bloods and purebloods all joined the Dark Lord's ranks, even though originally he intended to maintain the purity of blood, and kill any mudbloods or half-bloods, by now he was only interested in one thing: killing Harry Potter. It seems that over the years, a lot of people decided to try and help him do just that. Let me tell you about some of the people who joined Death Eaters. Ron's POV.

I don't support the evil!Ron theory, but he seemed right in this story. Please R/R!

You might think you know someone, when really you have no idea who they are. The second war is in full swing, and some would be amazed at the people who became Death Eaters to serve the Dark Lord. People who seemed perfectly nice, innocent and sweet. People from every house; not just Slytherins, but Ravenclaws, Hufflepuffs and Gryffindors as well. People Harry Potter counted as his friends and allies.

It's funny, what kind of people became Death Eaters. mudbloods, half-bloods and purebloods all joined the Dark Lords ranks, even though originally he intended to maintain the purity of blood, and kill any mudbloods or half-bloods, by now he was only interested in one thing: killing Harry Potter. It seems that over the years, a lot of people wanted to try and help him do just that. Let me tell you about some of the people who joined Death Eaters.

Draco Malfoy- no surprise there- joined Death Eater ranks along with his father almost immediately after the second war began. He instantly became in the Dark Lord's inner circle and became one of his most trusted allies. He did what was expected of him by the better part of the world and followed in his fathers footsteps. Draco was faithful, he slaughtered anyone who opposed the Dark Lord until the day he was killed by an auror.

Cho Chang- that one was unexpected- joined just after the start of her seventh year. Some say she did it to get revenge on Harry, many believed it was because the Dark Lord told her he could bring back Cedric. Only those who actually asked her knew it was really because she wanted to move up in the world, to have attention, freedom and to become the most powerful witch alive. Which she never attained before she died of anorexia.

Ernie MacMillan- that was kind of odd- didn't join until the summer before his seventh year, nearly a year after the war began. It was common knowledge that the reason he joined was to prove he wasn't a wimp. He quickly became a valuable member of the Death Eaters because both his parent's worked in the Ministry of Magic and supplied him with details he quickly passed on to the Dark Lord. He is still an active Death Eater today.

Colin Creevy- no one ever expected that- joined in the middle of his fifth year, about six months since the war began. He was the youngest Death Eater in history. Eventually, he freaked about everything and tried to quit. 'Tried' being the operative word. He was killed by Lucius Malfoy as he learned that nobody quits Death Eaters.

Parvati and Padma Patil- Both were a bit of a shock- joined at the end of their sixth year. Padma was the quiet twin, she was more of a schemer and plotter than an actual doer. Parvati wasn't herself anymore after she joined the Death Eaters, she actually killed her ex-best friend, Lavender. One of them died, near the middle of their seventh year. No one knows which, the remaining one only responds name Pack, and refuses to admit which twin she is.

By now, you might be wondering how I, Ron Weasley, know all this. Am I looking it all up in records in the Ministry of Magic? Am I some sort of spy? Am I just that smart? No, no and no. I'm just listing my comrades. My friends. My pals. My coworkers. That's right, coworkers. We all work together, serving our master. These people are my real friends.

~The end.
