Day by Day

In the years after Hogwarts, Ron and Hermione are both living in London (separately!) and working for the Ministry of Magic. Harry stayed behind at Hogwarts to recuperate after defeating Voldemort but is now ready to leave so Professor Dumbledore arranges accommodation for him with one of his best friends.

Harry stayed behind at Hogwarts to recuperate after defeating Voldemort but is now ready to leave so Professor Dumbledore arranges accommodation for him with one of his best friends.

This is a fairly short chapter just about Sunday which is the morning after the "girls' night". Harry looks after Hermione - very sweet!

This chapter "visits" all the main characters throughout the day and is very "busy" so I've given each "visit" it's own heading to prevent it from being too confusing. Everyone has a good Monday, I think!

Well, the title of this Chapter says it all! “The One Where Harry & Dean Cook Dinner, Ginny Gets A Visitor, Etc” Watch out for that "Etc"!

What to day? It's Wednesday...Friday draws ever nearer for all...

Things are happening! Harry sends Hermione an invitation she doesn't refuse just before he has to make a side trip to Hogwarts which involves Ginny and her "interview" with Draco Malfoy. The everyone ends up at the exclusive wizard restaurant, "The Dragon's Lair" at one time or another - all on the same night but luckily not all at the same time...

Well, I guess the chapter title says it all folks!

Sunday was a lovely day...not so Monday.

Chapter Twelve - "The One Where Malfoy Talks" - and he does, saying some things that he shouldn't have causing all hell to break loose!

Here's the pandemonion - and the planning and carrying out of the trap. Dean does NOT like the part Ginny has to play because it involves Malfoy. Harry wields his awesome powers and they get the information they need out of the Death Eaters.

Harry had Apparated into a dark, dinghy loungeroom in which everything seemed to have been painted or covered in shades of grey. Although it was still light outside, the curtains were drawn and there were no lights to push back the gloom. He muttered, ‘Lumos,’ giving himself enough light to see around the room. He could see a fireplace on the far wall, full of ashes and on the tattered old lounge in front of it he saw her. ‘HERMIONE!'

Chapter Fifteen: “THE ONE WHERE RON ASKS LUNA SOMETHING (‘Luna! Please! I’m dying here – yes or no?’ A slow smile spread over her face. ‘I will definitely consider it, Ronald.’), MALFOY ASKS GINNY SOMETHING (Ginny stood in the doorway stunned. The last person she’d expected to see here, now – or anywhere, anytime for that matter – was standing in front of her, smiling.) AND HARRY AND HERMIONE DO SOMETHING (Hermione woke slowly to the realisation that she was home – with Harry; she smiled. Then she opened her eyes slowly; he was lying on his stomach now, facing her, his arm thrown across her as she lay looking at him.)

A happy reunion in Neville's office, a lovely lunch at the Lair, Ron loves Luna's cooking and everyone gets back to work. Uh-oh. Dean's away. Guess who makes another appearance...

Firstly I have to apologise for the length of time it's taken me to upload this Chapter - the second last one of this fic. The last chapter is ready and waiting and I'll upload that very soon I promise!
