If I were a piece of cheese... part deux
I can't believe how much Draco's changed! No really it's amazing. At first the thought of him and Ginny was terribly disturbing, we've gotten close --Ginny and I that is-- over the years that I've spent with the Weasleys.
Now, however, he appears to be making a big effort. It was Draco himself who told Ginny's parents and brothers. Ron completely freaked out when he was informed and I do believe Draco's erm... well... you know... got a good wallop from an angry foot! Anyway, when Draco told Harry and I Harry seemed to take it very well although he does spend an awful lot of time talking to himself and scratching his head (we are of the belief that killing dark lords pickles one's brain).
I must admit I have often caught myself wondering what it would be like to be with Draco. He does have an amazing body, despite the shocking arrogance. Perhaps if one removed his tongue so that he could no longer speak they would have a rather more enjoyable experience with him? Or maybe not, after all he can still sneer without a tongue.
Recently Ron has been acting strangely around me. He holds eye contact way too long while we are speaking and he spends ages in the toilet after a conversation. I am beginning to wonder if the sheer sight of me makes him sick. I'm not that ugly, am I? I know my hair was rather bushy but as of late I have spent time curling it and using a special frizz taming potion. When I told Harry about it he burst out laughing muttered something about Ron being sleep deprived and then Harry stayed normal for almost a week.
If I were a piece of cheese I could understand Ron's odd behaviour. Constipation would explain the long stints in the toilet and cheese is the only food that I can think of that is a direct cause of constipation. However when I suggested this thesis to Harry he just laughed pityingly and patted me on the shoulder as though I were a naive child.
I spoke to Ginny yesterday and she said that it is the real thing between her and Draco. He's even asked her to marry him, although what Arthur, the twins and Ron will say to that I don't know. Draco may have to beware of more than just two black eyes and a sore err... penis. I personally can not wait for Ginny to get married. Oh I hope she makes me her maid of honour. I'm also glad that Draco doesn't carry a dagger as there could be a very Shakespearean end to their relationship with that i.e. Juliet:
"O happy dagger this is thy sheath, there rust and let me die"
I've never noticed before just how 'Romeo and Juliet' like Draco and Ginny's relationship is. But instead of drawing more outlandish parallels between reality and Shakespeare I shall concentrate on finding out the problem Ron's having. Harry has promised to help but I can't help feeling that he has his own agenda there.
