When the three couples arrived in Hogsmeade they all went their separate ways - Oliver and Jenna headed towards Zonkos. Harry and Kara went to Honeydukes and Hermione had dragged Ron off to the book shop.

Jenna glanced worriedly at Oliver as they walked down the streets of Hogsmeade.

"Do you think McGonagall will say anything to Dumbledore?"

"Probably, but don't worry about it. Dumbledore will probably find it funny and dismiss it because it's Valentines Day."

"Yeah, you're probably right ... hey look at this."

Taking his hand, Jenna led Oliver over to the section of Zonko's new products.

Meanwhile in Honeydukes, Harry and Kara were deciding over what chocolates to buy when Draco walked in with Pansy draped all over him - she had what only be described as sickeningly happy expression on her face. When Pansy spotted Kara she gave her a 'he's mine' look. Draco's expression was less than happy as he saw Kara look over. He attempted a smile before being pulled over to a crowded part of the shop by Pansy.

"Can we get these and leave?"

Kara asked, inclining her head towards Pansy and Draco.

"Yeah, sure."

Harry replied a little too happily - he assumed Kara was doing as he had asked and was trying to steer well clear of Malfoy.

Over in Dervish and Bangs, Hermione was picking out the latest addition of Hogwarts a History with a disgruntled Ron trying to get her to leave the shop.

"Come on 'Mione, its Valentines Day. Can't you leave the book shopping till later? Better yet, order it by Owl post."

"No Ron. I can't, so stop whining. This is your punishment for that card from Kara and Jenna so be quiet and pass me that book down."

Hermione's tone sounded annoyed but there was a smile playing across her lips as Ron mumbled something under his breath. As he went to pull down the book Hermione had pointed to, she pulled him behind the bookcase and kissed him briefly before ducking back out under his arm and pointing at the book again.

"'Mione," Ron grumbled in protest.

"The book Ronald, otherwise there will be no more of that today."

Ron hastily retrieved the book quickly and Hermione paid for it. They then headed straight for Zonko's where Oliver and Jenna were just emerging.

After Zonkos, Oliver and Jenna went into Honeydukes. They wandered up and down the shop, picking out chocolates.

"What about these ones?"

"I'll get fat."

Jenna mimicked her sister before spotting a green box in front of her.

"Ooh, these ones too. I'll eat them later."

Jenna picked up a box of mint creams and Oliver raised an eyebrow at her quizzically.

"What happened to 'I'll get fat'?"

"Screw that, I'll work it off at Quidditch anyway. Who do you think I am, Kara?"

Oliver couldn't help but chuckle: 'she must be the only girl that didn't take offence to the fat comment.' The couple spent the rest of the afternoon wandering around the high street - going in to all the shops and visiting the Shrieking Shack. Finally, they ended up outside Madam Pudifoots - from the outside you could tell she had gone all out for Valentines Day.

"Do you think you can cope without that bucket of cold water you promised to bring with you next time you came here?"

Oliver mused, remembering the first time he brought her to the coffee shop.

"I'll cope, but if Ginny and Dean interrupt this time I will not be responsible for my actions."

"Me neither."

The couple made their way inside and ordered coffee. Luckily for Dean and Ginny, who entered shortly after them, they chose their own table away from Oliver and Jenna near the back of the coffee shop.

Jenna was having the best Valentines Day she had had in a long while, but Kara wasn't faring too well -a certain platinum blonde seemed to be everywhere and it caused Kara to get distracted. After a few times of this, Harry asked Kara if she was okay.

"Sorry hun, yeah I'm fine. Ergh, those two again. Can they not just disappear?"

Harry looked over to see Draco enter the Three Broomsticks with Pansy still fawning over him.

"Do you want to go?"

"No, I'm fine."

Kara made a deliberate point to move closer to Harry and leaned her head on his shoulder: 'this day is not going to be easy'.

The couple soon left the Three Broomsticks and wandered the high street before going to Madam Pudifoots as a last stop before returning to Hogwarts for the Valentines Day feast. The three couples then walked up to the common room to change into their robes for the feast.

-------------------

Kara and Jenna entered the common room first followed by Oliver, Harry, Ron, and lastly Hermione. They thought it would be empty and that the three couples would get a bit more alone time before the feast - instead there was a lone good-looking, burly male standing in front of the fire.

"Hello salty goodness."

Jenna exclaimed as the bloke turned around. He was familiar but she couldn't put her finger on where she had seen him before.

"Hello."

Kara raised her eyebrows at the tight top the bloke was wearing.

"Did they give you a name along with all those rippling pectorals?"

The twins ignored the looks they were both getting from their boyfriends.

"Kara!"

"Jenna!"

"What?"

The twins replied innocently before being interrupted by Hermione.

"Victor!"

Hermione exclaimed, pushing past Ron, Harry and Oliver to greet him.

"Krum," all three lads muttered.

"That's it, I knew I recognised you," Jenna exclaimed.

"Ireland kicked your arse at the World Cup! You're a good seeker, but I bet Harry could give you a run for your money though."

Oliver had just found a new fondness for his girlfriend as she put down the international seeker and praised up Harry's abilitys. Which if it wasn't for Oliver (okay technically Malfoy) who had taught him about Quidditch then Harry would still be an undiscovered talent. Oliver and Harry moved to stand beside their girlfriends whilst Ron stood with his arms folded across his chest with the tops of his ears going pink (which was never a good sign).

"Victor, what are you doing here?"

"I haff come to surprise you Herm-own-ninny."

Ron now crossed the room to put his arm around Hermione's waist.
"But I see that I haff come too late."

"I'm sorry Victor, I've just been too busy to write to you this year. There's been a lot going on and we broke up ages ago."

"Way to go Hermione," both twins piped up earning glares from Ron, Harry and Oliver.

"You never told us you dated Krum, international seeker not bad! I reckon I go the best deal though."

Jenna smiled up at Oliver and he smiled back, realising what she had just said.

"You play for Puddlemere United, yes?"

Krum's attention was momentarily drawn away from Hermione as he spoke to Oliver.

"Used to - I decided that becoming a teacher was a better use of my time."

"You teach here at Hogwarts?"

"I'm a TA at the moment."

"Nah Jen, I definitely got the better deal - best and youngest seeker at Hogwarts in a century."

Kara piped up and Harry beamed at her: 'why was I even worried? Of course she doesn't like Krum, she was just messing about with Jenna'.

"Do you two mind?"

Hermione intervened before either twin could continue.

"So, when are you leaving?"

Hermione glared at Ron giving him a 'don't be rude' look.

"Could you guys give us a minute?"

"Sure no problem - we need to get changed for dinner anyway, don't we Ron?"

Harry nudged Ron in the side.

"Yeah we do. Don't be long, we don't want to be late."

Ron gave Hermione a quick kiss on the cheek before heading off to the boys' dorms reluctantly with Harry.

"I'll meet you in the Entrance Hall, Jen."

"Okay, we won't be long."

Oliver left the Gryffindor common room as Jenna and Kara headed up to their dorm.

"Nice save Jen, couldn't have done it better myself."

"Well I thought seeing as I started it I better give you a way to get you off the hook with Harry - you've got enough boy trouble for the whole of sixth year as it is."

"Jen about that...."

"We will talk, but not now."

Kara was grateful to her sister for not going any further on the subject. She had already had a bad enough day so far and arguing with her sister was not on the top of her to do list. They were joined in the dorm by Hermione five minutes later.

"Where's Wonder Boy?"

"Victor, Jenna, has gone and I don't want to talk about it. Ron's already going to be in a bad enough mood and I don't need you two making it worse."

"Whoa there 'Mione, wasn't gonna."

Kara held up her hands in mock defence.

"You better hurry up and get changed. We'll meet you in the common room."

Kara added before her and Jenna made their leave.

"Geez, what crawled her butt and died?"

"Jen leave it, for now."

"Consider it left, for now."

Hermione quickly spoke to Ron out of earshot of Harry, Kara and Jenna and his bad mood seemed to sway as they headed down to the feast. Jenna met Oliver in the Entrance Hall and they waited with the gathering crowd to enter the Great Hall when a thought hit Jenna.

"You will be sitting with us, right?"

"Try and stop me."

"Good. I thought for a minute you were going to spend the Valentines Day feast up at the Head table, especially after McGonagall this morning."

"I've already okayed it with Dumbledore. Don't worry."

Kara spotted Ernie McMillan coming into the entrance hall and nudged her sister - both twins got big grins on their faces.

"Ginny, here a minute."

Jenna called over to Ginny and as soon as she came over the twins excused themselves from their boyfriends saying they just needed to do something and headed for Ernie.

"Did you get our card?"

"I ... erm...."

All three chasers smiled at Ernie sweetly causing him to blush profoundly before he made an excuse to hide himself in the forming crowd. The three chasers burst out laughing at Ernie's retreat before heading back to their respective boyfriends.

The doors of the Great Hall opened and instead of the usual house tables there were smaller tables that each seated six. The Hall had a romantic feel as the only light was coming from the candles on each table. The students entered the Hall - many taking the opportunity to take seats for those who had their partners with them at the smaller tables. The head table was still there with Dumbledore smiling at them and that all knowing twinkle in his eye.

"Did you know about this?"

Jenna whispered to Oliver as they took their seats at a table with Ron, Hermione, Harry and Kara.

"No."

Once everyone was seated, Dumbledore arose.

"My apologies for not informing you of the arrangement for dinner this evening. The idea only came to me moments before you arrived and I thought it would be a nice surprise for most of you."

Dumbledore looked knowingly to the six Gryffindors, lingering on Oliver and Jenna, before moving his gaze over some of the other couples in the room

"Now let the feast begin."
