Geminus

Over the next week Jenna remained adamant that she would not bring Sirius back and so received the cold shoulder from Ron, Harry and even Lupin. In class, Lupin avoided speaking to or even acknowledging Jenna's existence when she attempted to answer a question. Hermione was a little more sympathetic as she understood Jenna's concerns - after all, the trio had nearly got themselves killed several times over the years. Any attempt by Kara to talk to Jenna usually ended in yelling and a loss of house points when Jenna yelled in Potions (and all Kara wanted was an ingredient passing).

Finally the second meeting arrived - they had all been reminded by owl at breakfast to meet with Dumbledore at lunchtime. Oliver walked with Jenna to Dumbledore's office - mainly to make sure she got there and didn't try to dodge the meeting. Oliver had not bought up their previous meeting with Dumbledore but he attempted to now.

"Are you still against bringing him back?"

"I don't want to talk about it."

"Well I'm afraid in about two minutes you will be."

"Then I'll talk then...."

Jenna sighed audibly.

"... I'm sorry Oliver. I just want to get this meeting over with"

Oliver was saved having to reply as they arrived at the gargoyle guarding Dumbledore's office. He said the password and they joined everyone else who were waiting for them. Jenna deliberately avoided eye contact with Harry and Lupin as she sat down.

"Thank you for all coming. You of course know why we are all here."

Jenna opened her mouth to make some sarcastic comment but nothing came out.

"I don't want to hear it Jenna."

Kara had placed a silencing charm on her sister again before she got a chance to go into full on Jenna rant mode. Jenna furrowed her brow at her sister whilst folding her arms across her chest. Dumbledore began to speak again - however he did not reprimand Kara for the use of silencing charm on her sister.

"I know that this has been difficult for you both."

Dumbledore looked from Kara to Jenna.

"But you both know the reasons for me asking you to reconsider your decision."

Kara was about to open her mouth to protest - after all she had agreed to it - but Dumbledore put up a hand to stop her.

"I know, Kara. Anyway this could be very important to the war against Voldemort."

"How exactly, Headmaster?" Snape asked.

"That is something I cannot divulge to you at the moment Severus and is only known by myself, Jenna, Kara and I believe Harry also."

Harry nodded and Jenna shot a dark look at her sister who ignored her.

"Kara, could you please remove the silencing charm from your sister?"

Kara complied straight away.

"Thank you," Jenna said dryly.

"Now I know you cannot be forced into this Jenna and I understand your concerns."

"You have no idea what my concerns are. We don't even know if it will work or if Sirius Black is the one we should be bring back."

"I must agree with Miss Geminus, Headmaster. Maybe it would be wise to leave Black where he is."

Snape's sneer was less as he talked to the Headmaster but the hatred of the man they were meant to bring back was obvious by his tone. Lupin was about to retort to Snape's comment when Jenna spoke.

"I'm in."

"Jenna, you know you have to mean this right?"

"I'm aware of that, Kara - I said I'm in and I mean it. I'm just dying to find out how Sirius got under Professor Snape's skin."

Jenna smirked at Snape but wasn't granted the pleasure of seeing his reaction as she was enveloped by her sister.

"Jesus Kay get off me. I can't breathe and if you kill me I can't do it"

"Sorry."

Both girls were soon embraced by Harry and Professor Lupin along with thank you's over and over again until Dumbledore motioned for them to settle down.

"I'm afraid that is the easy part. Kara, Jenna, again I'm afraid it is down to you."

"Yes, Professor. It's just a matter of remembering the incantation and the ritual. As Kara said we only know half each and Kara's is by far the hardest to remember."

"I understand. Is there anything we can do in the mean time?"

"Not really - not yet anyway. The ritual is a bit hazy in my head at the moment but we will need your help soon, I'm sure of that much"

"Thank you both of you. Now, I believe it is lunchtime so why don't we all go down and eat?"

The Death Eater meeting was a hurried affair as Lucius could not be at present at his home of Malfoy Manor for too long. Narcissa was currently clutching the letter she had received from Draco that morning close to her chest as the Death Eaters lined up in the drawing room for the arrival of Voldemort. He Apparated into the room with a loud crack causing everyone to flinch with nerves - Voldemort's temper had been even more volatile recently due to the constant threat of the Geminus twins.

"So, Lucius, what is it you have to tell me?"

"Well my Lord, Narcissa received an interesting letter from Draco this morning ... he states that one of the twins has confided in him and they will not be casting the spell any time soon - never if the other twin has her way."

Voldemort stared silently at Lucius who held his breath. Slowly a smirk developed on Voldemort's face.

"Well it is a start anyway ... You should inform Draco that he is still to keep up his work of splitting the two girls up however - I want it to be a certainty that the spell shall never be performed...."

Both Narcissa and Lucius nodded quickly but remained silent as Voldemort continued talking.

"... He is also to try to obtain one of the pendants that the girls wear. I have been informed that these are crucial in the performance of the spell."

The Malfoys nodded again before Voldemort turned to his remaining Death Eaters.

"And why are you all still here? I know you have not yet found the Geminus family's current whereabouts."

Quickly the Death Eaters Apparated. Voldemort smirked again and nodded at Narcissa and Lucius.

"See that Draco receives his orders immediately."
