The day of the debate arrived and the air in the sixth year class was full of excitement and anticipation as they took their seats. Everyone anxiously waited as Professors McGonagall, Snape and Dumbledore took a seat at the front of the class with Professor Lupin. Oliver perched himself on the front desk giving Jenna a sly wink.

"Okay everyone - let's get started."

Lupin started off by telling the class about the first war and Voldemort's intentions and his reasons. He then addressed the students.

"Now it's your turn - what are your thoughts about the first war? Do you think anything could have been handled differently? Do you agree or disagree with Voldemort's reasoning for instigating this war?"

The class was silent.

"Come on now, don't be shy. You won't be judged by what you say in this class."

Jenna and Kara both looked at each and raised their hands at the same time.

"Okay - Jenna?"

"I don't get it."

"Me neither," piped up Kara.

"What don't you get? Maybe with the help of the other Professors I could explain whatever it is."

Jenna began first.

"I don't get his reasoning behind it...."

Kara carried on - the twins getting in to full completing each other sentence mode.

"... The whole purity of blood deal...."

"... It's the biggest load of crap I've ever heard."

"What do you mean by that?"

Lupin raised his eyebrows curiously - he was intrigued at where this would lead. Dumbledore was looking at the twins with an amused expression whilst McGonagall and Snape both had their brows furrowed, unsure of where the twins would go. All the students and Professors had to concentrate hard as the twins continued talking. Their habit of finishing each other's sentences was a tad annoying and also as hard to follow as it had been with the Weasley twins.

Jenna started again, the sarcasm in her voice shining through.

"Okay don't get me wrong - Voldy, big bad, ooh scary, but come on really...."

Kara shook her head as she spoke.

"... The obsession with the purity of blood is a bit drastic and frankly for an intelligent and powerful wizard it is a bit...."

"... Dumb! I mean the guy is a half blood for Christ's sake how can he even begin...."

"... To preach to any one about purity of blood."

There was an audible gasp from the students as Jenna informed them that Voldermort was a half blood and not pureblood like most of them thought. Lupin was a little taken back that the Geminus twins knew that fact but he regained his composure quickly - not noticing the little look of triumph that flicked across Dumbledore face at Kara and Jenna's take on Voldermort.

"How did you know Voldemort was a half-blood?"

"We have our sources, my point is...."

Jenna answered, waving a hand in dismissal at her professor's question before Kara carried on

"... How can he go on about the purity of blood when he isn't a pure blood himself?"

"Okay take me, Kara and Malfoy for instance our blood is as pure as they come."

Ron snickered beside Jenna. Jenna sent him a death glare, which shut him up, before she continued.

"Our families date back centuries - myself and Kara, unlike Malfoy and most pure bloods, don't buy into all this pure blood crap."

"Don't get us wrong we're proud of our heritage, it's just that being a pure blood isn't the be all and end all - there are many other witches and wizards that are Muggle-born or half blood that are just as powerful...."

"... That would have made better allies to Voldy."

Jenna and Kara paused in their personal debate.

"Voldermort, Jenna. Please continue - I'm intrigued to find out where you are going with this theory of yours."

Lupin said with an encouraging smile. Jenna looked towards her sister and then to Oliver who gave her an encouraging nod and smile. Jenna took a deep breath before continuing.

"Okay, let's give you some examples so you understand where we are coming from. Myself, Kara and Draco are what most may call typical pure bloods - wealthy, attractive, intelligent, have a certain talent for magic and are powerful whether it be in politics or magic ... anyway we portray what most pure bloods pride themselves upon being."

Kara glanced at Draco who was smirking at being called attractive - she smiled slightly at him before talking.

"Now lets look at Crabbe, Goyle and Parkinson. Purebloods - yes, wealthy - hell yeah, not so easy on the eyes however and lacking in intellect and magical ability...."

The Gryffindors had to fight back giggles at the look on Pansy's face and the confusion on Crabbe and Goyle's as they tried to work out if Kara had just insulted them or not. Pansy opened her mouth to retort but Jenna cut across her.

"Don't even think about interrupting, we are not done yet."

Jenna's tone was low and threatening. As she raised her voice to talk to the entire room her tone returned to normal.

"Now take Hermione, a Muggle born but with all the traits of a pure blood. Her magical ability and intellect rivals that of any pure blood and she would have made a better ally to Voldy than say Crabbe or Goyle or even Malfoy."

Jenna was referring to Crabbe, Goyle and Malfoy Senior and the professors seem to pick up on this - all-raising curious eyebrow at the young Gryffindor before turning to Kara as she piped up.

"I myself would love to see Voldermort take on Hermione, she'd kick his arse for sure."

Hermione was now blushing profoundly at the complements she was receiving and trying to sink into her chair - nobody had ever complemented her that much. She usually just got called a know-it-all and here were the Geminus twins praising her ability and saying that she could probably out smart Voldermort (which she herself doubted but it was a nice thought).

"I guess what we are trying to ask in a long winded way is how Voldy...."

"Voldemort," corrected Lupin again.

"How Voldy...."

Jenna started again, putting more emphasis on the nickname she had fashioned for him.

"... Can justify his reasons for the first war based on the purity of blood when he himself is a half blood. I just don't get it!"

"Well you two sure do pick your eureka moments, but unfortunately I do not know the answer. Headmaster, do you have any theories behind this that could enlighten our inquisitive students?"

"For once I am also at a loss. As you so kindly put it, magical ability is not a matter of blood as Voldermort indeed would have found better more powerful allies in non-purebloods. We must only be thankful that he based his decisions on purity of blood otherwise we may not be where we are today."

Jenna and Kara nodded in confused understanding. At that moment the bell rang for lunch.

"Okay everyone, we'll finish this after lunch," called Lupin after his class as they all rose from their seats.

"Jenna, Kara can I see you both for a moment?"

The voice was Dumbledore's not Lupin's. Jenna and Kara nervously stayed put at their shared desk as the rest of the class left and started to discuss what had been said.

"Don't look so worried, you are not in any trouble."

"The why did you ask for us to stay behind?"

Jenna answered bravely. She respected the older man but her defences always shot up first - nine times out of ten it always got her into trouble. Luckily this was not one of those times as Kara elbowed Jenna sharply in the ribs to watch her tongue.

"I have asked you two to stay behind as you made an excellent point - one which we have been discussing over for years."

"Oh," was all the words Jenna could manage. Jenna looked down at the floor, slightly ashamed of her little outburst. Professors McGonagall, Snape and Lupin along with Oliver joined the Headmaster in front of the two Gryffindors.

"Kara, Jenna may I ask how you know that Voldermort is a half blood - there are very few students and wizards that know this. How did you two young Gryffindors stumble across this information?"

"Harry told me and I told Jenna, was that wrong of him to do so?"

"No Kara it was not wrong of him to do so, thank you for informing me of your source...."

Dumbledore replied with a twinkle in his eye.

"... Now why don't you run along to lunch whilst I have a word with Jenna."

Kara looked at her sister worriedly and Jenna returned her sister's look with one of confusion. Kara gave her sister a 'tell me later' look and Jenna nodded slightly before Kara left, leaving Jenna standing nervously in front of the four Professors and TA.

"What did I do?" Jenna asked confused.

"Jenna I am intrigued to know why it is that you refer to Voldermort as 'Voldy.' Surely it would be better for you to speak his real name. Fear of the name only increases the fear of the thing itself," said Dumbledore softly causing Jenna to snort with laughter.

"You think I'm scared of that freak. I'm sorry Headmaster but you've got me all wrong."

"Indeed. Would you mind enlightening me on your reasons for referring to Voldermort as 'Voldy'?"

"Everybody - well I'm guessing most of the Professors and a selected few Gryffindors, hell maybe more, know that Voldy is trying to kill me and Kara. The reason if you must know is not because I fear him or his stupid name and stuck up Death Eaters. The guy is trying to kill me - he's going to do it sooner or later, I vote for later, but this castle can't protect me forever so either way I'm dead. Why can't I have a little fun with his name? The worst he is going to do is kill me right? I say bring it on, I will not be going down without a fight."

"Foolish child - the Dark Lord could kill you in a heart beat," snarled Snape.

"So be it. If he really wants to kill me that much he will - I have no problem with that."

"Jenna how can you say that...."

Oliver exclaimed in shock.

"... How can you not care if Voldermort kills you or not?"

"I do care if he kills me - believe it or not I don't want to die but it's kind of inevitable really. He's out to kill us and unless you know a way of stopping him that doesn't involve that poncy prophecy then why can't I mock his stupid name? I have a right to seeing as the git seems hell bent on killing me."

Jenna's voice had started to get shaky as she spoke. It had only really dawned on her now that Voldermort was really out to kill them and he would probably stop at nothing to get to her and Kara - after all Voldermort and his Death Eaters had already attacked their parents trying to get to them. Jenna sank into the nearest seat, putting her head in her hands. If Jenna was one to cry she probably would have just then, instead she did the only thing that could stop the tears from forming, she turned to her old time favourite anger. Jenna looked up at the surrounding teachers.

"There, happy now? Am I allowed to leave yet?" growled Jenna.

"I did not mean to upset you Miss Geminus. I was merely intrigued to find out the reason for this nickname and warn you to be careful if you ever use it around the Slytherins."

"Well now you know, and I will not stop calling him that, not even in front of the Slytherins. I will take your warning Professor but that does not mean I will stop calling him that despite who is present. If they can't deal then it's their problem, not mine."

"Very well."

"Headmaster are we done here? I would like to speak to Jenna alone."

"Of course Oliver. Miss Geminus you are excused from afternoon classes, if that is alright with you Professor Lupin?"

"Yes that's fine, and Oliver don't worry about this afternoon."

"Thank you Remus."

"I don't need a baby sitter - I'm quite capable of taking care of myself."

"I know you are. Come on lets get some lunch."

Oliver held out a hand to help Jenna from her seat. Jenna sighed and rolled her eyes before taking Oliver's hand and walking with him hand in hand out of the classroom.

"What was that about?" questioned McGonagall.

"I believe Minerva, that Miss Geminus has just realised the seriousness of the situation involving Voldermort's wanting to 'be rid of' both her and her sister."

"And what was that about a prophecy Albus, surely not the same...."

Dumbledore put up a hand to silence her.

"No Minerva not the same, however at this time it is not one that I can tell you. That decision lies with Jenna, although I wish it didn't. Kara has already accepted the prophecy for what it is and understands what is required of her, whereas Jenna is very reluctant and will not be easily swayed to do what is right over what is easy. She has very strong views on the matter and I fear that today has just tightened her resolves - only time will tell, but that is all I can say. Now why don't we all go down to lunch?"

The other Professors nodded in agreement each wondering about the new prophecy that Jenna had obviously let slip in her anger.

Jenna walked through the corridors with Oliver still holding his hand but not speaking. When they got to the corner towards the Great Hall Oliver led Jenna in the opposite direction.

"Where are we going?" demanded Jenna, stopping abruptly.

"My quarters, we need to talk."

Jenna took her hand immediately out of Oliver's and backed up a few paces.

"No Jen, not that talk never that talk."

Oliver took Jenna's hand in his and pulled her close and into a hug.

"I'm sorry I thought...." Jenna started into Oliver's shoulder.

"Let's just get some lunch in my quarters first and then we'll talk, okay?"

Jenna released herself from Oliver's embrace and straightened her robes and nodded in agreement.

Lunch in Oliver's quarters was a quiet affair, both eating silently. When they were both finished they moved silently to the living room and Jenna sat in her favourite chair, tucking her feet underneath her. Oliver joined her on the small sofa taking her hand in his.

"What did you want to talk about?"

"What's bothering you Jen? What was that about a prophecy - is that what is bothering you?"

"Oliver I'm sorry, I can't tell you. I was angry, I shouldn't have slipped up and mentioned it."

Jenna turned her head away from Oliver's gaze - she wanted to tell him but she didn't know how he'd react. Jenna knew if it wasn't for Kara Harry would be pushing her to agree to bring Sirius back so she didn't need anyone else pressuring her into doing something she didn't want to do and would not do.

"Okay you don't have to tell me but what got you so angry in there?"

Jenna chuckled slightly before answering.

"I just realised my life is so screwed. Voldy ... Voldemort is after me and Kara that much I can tell you. There's something that the pair of us can do that he doesn't want us to and he'll stop at anything to stop us. Good thing I have no intention of doing it anyway...."

Jenna trailed off.

"Jen your life is not screwed, not whilst I'm here."

"God I think I'm going to throw up," Jenna joked, trying to lighten the mood.

"Why you little...."

Oliver had started to tickle Jenna and found her most ticklish spot, quickly rendering her helpless and squirming in her seat.

"You ... Git ... You ... Wait."

Jenna managed through laughter. Oliver stopped tickling the squirming Jenna.

"Wait for what?"

Oliver mused as Jenna tried to compose herself.

"Exactly my point."

"Huh?!"

"Hmm let me see, I need to find a fitting punishment for that act on an unarmed student," teased Jenna, now pacing in front of Oliver.

"Really and what will this punishment entail - detention, loss of house points?" Oliver mused.

"No that will never do...."

Jenna tapped her chin lightly in thought

"... Hmm I think I have the perfect punishment - no kissing for a week."

Jenna grinned mischievously at Oliver as she saw his jaw drop.

"Uh uh, no way, that's not fair."

Oliver got up from the couch to stand in front of Jenna. He put his arms round her waist trying to kiss her but she turned her head away.

"Jen?!"

"I told you Mr Wood, no kissing for a week."

Jenna said this with her head still turned away from Oliver exposing her bare neck. Oliver took full advantage of this moment and kissed her neck softly.

"Are you sure I can't do anything to change your mind?"

Oliver kissed her neck again.

"N ... no" was all Jenna replied weakly before giving in and kissing Oliver back fully.

--------------------------------------

Jenna woke with a start.

"Shit, shit shit."

Jenna looked at the time on her Muggle watch.

"Oliver wake up."

Oliver, instead of opening his eyes, settled for pulling Jenna closer towards him. Jenna rolled her eyes and grabbed a pillow from behind her and hit him with it.

"Geroff!"

"No get up, we're going to miss dinner."

Oliver groaned into the pillow settled on his head before throwing it off and sitting up.

"Well not kissing for a week went out the window."

Jenna rolled her eyes at Oliver, a smile playing across her mouth. Okay so things hadn't gone quite as she had planned but no matter, she liked where it had ended up.
