Luckily for Jenna the weeks leading up to the Yule Ball passed in a blur of assignments and potions projects. Kara had no time to mention Jenna's date with Draco or the spell. Before the students knew it, the last week of term had passed and it was the evening of the Yule Ball. Jenna was panicking about what to wear. Unfortunately this meant she had to talk to her sister, who was currently rummaging through her own wardrobe.

"Hey."

Kara looked round at her sister. It didn't bear well for Jenna that she wasn't smiling.

"Yes?"

"I need a favour. I have nothing to wear."

Kara raised one eyebrow.

"You expect me to help you look nice for your date with Draco?"

Jenna sighed - this was one time her temper would not help matters.

"I thought we established this. I'm only going with Malfoy to piss Oliver off."

"Uh huh."

Despite counting to ten, Jenna still lost her temper.

"Oh for fuck's sake Kay. One you are going with Harry, two I can't stand the git and three we are only going together to piss other people off."

"Fine, let's just drop it."

"Cool. So you gonna help me with the clothes situation?"

"Don't I always?"

Kara opened the dorm door and yelled down to the others - much to Jenna's disgust.

"Hey Hermione, Lavender, Parvati can you come up here please."

"Kara!"

The other girls ran up to the dorm and soon they all had Jenna playing mannequin. After two hours and a countless number of outfit changes, the girls had finally decided on a short, low-cut, strappy dress for Jenna. They were still arguing about the colour when two owls arrived carrying a huge crate for the twins.

"What's this?"

"Don't know, it says it's from Jacob."

The girls gathered round and opened the box to reveal a huge amount of both Muggle and wizard alcohol.

"Jacob, I bow down to your greatness."

"There is no way we can drink all this."

Jenna grinned wickedly at the others

"How about a sixth year drinking session before the Ball starts - all houses invited?"

"We can use the Room of Requirement."

The girls looked shocked at Hermione who shrugged laughing. While the others continued to argue about Jenna's dress, Kara sent invites to the other students. Using the twins own owls and the owls that sent the crates, she sent messages to Padma Patil and Anthony Goldstein (Ravenclaw), Susan Bones and Ernie Macmillian (Hufflepuff) and Blaise Zabini (Slytherin). She also reluctantly scribbled a note to Draco and sent that as well. Kara turned back to the others just as Jenna yelled in indignation. Kara chuckled when she saw the purple and green striped dress Jenna was currently wearing. Jenna looked at Kara pleadingly.

"I'm not going like this!"

"Don't worry dear sis, I have just the colour."

With a flick of her wand Kara transformed Jenna's dress scarlet red. Lavender squealed with delight

"Oh wow, that's amazing. Right Jenna, time for hair and make-up."

Kara turned away from Jenna's disgruntled look and went to inform the Gryffindor boys about their planned drinking session.

It was at least another couple of hours before the girls were finally ready. Lavender and Parvati headed down to meet everyone first, followed by Jenna who was meeting Draco at the Room of Requirement. Hermione went down next, wearing a baby blue dress, to a very flustered Ron. Kara came down last - she was wearing a low cut, tight shimmery silver top and black thigh length skirt.

"Wow!"

"Thank you. You don't scrub up too bad yourself Mr Potter"

Harry blushed slightly and they headed out with the others to the Room of Requirement.

Very quickly the Room of Requirement filled with sixth year students, including the Slytherins. Draco had decided to step up his wind up of Kara by coming over and sitting next to Jenna. The Gryffindors attempted to make small talk with him and, to Kara's disgust, the talk turned to Quidditch. Ron turned to Draco, a sly look in his eye.

"So Malfoy, makes a change you being in the hospital wing before Harry!"

Everyone laughed including Harry and Draco. Draco smirked evilly as he answered.

"That's very true Weasley. So girls, you're new here - have you had the pleasure of the hospital wing yet?"

Jenna spluttered into her drink and went off to get another which left Kara to answer. She leant up against Harry's side as she answered

"No, I haven't had that pleasure yet."

Draco raised an eyebrow slowly in response. Before he could answer, Jenna sat down and loudly passed around drinks. The talk slowly turned back to Quidditch and no-one noticed the half amused look that passed between Draco and Kara.

-------------------------------------

By the time the sixth year students headed down to the Great Hall they were on their way to be completely drunk. Just before they entered, Hermione stopped the twins. The girls exchanged looks as they noticed Hermione was slightly swaying on the spot.

"Hang on girls, I've got an idea!"

"What?"

"How about a little bet - just for fun?"

"Hermione Granger, I've never seen this side of you before. I like it."

Hermione giggled at Jenna.

"Well we each have to have danced Professor Lupin by the end of the night. If we don't, we have to pay the other two ten sickles. Also if we ask and he says no then we have to ask ... Professor Snape instead!"

The twins gaped at Hermione before bursting out laughing.

"Excellent, that's a bet."

All three shook hands before heading inside with their dates.

As they first entered the Great Hall Jenna was, to her disgust, approached by Oliver.

"What on earth are you wearing?"

"It's called a dress Professor. Now would you excuse me my date is waiting."

Jenna turned away from him and walked over to Draco.

The party started quite slowly but soon got into full swing when the sixth years arrived. The professors were very suspicious at the state of the sixth years but they had no idea what had happened. Kara was the first girl to pluck up the courage to ask Lupin to dance

"... Er ... Professor?"

"Yes Miss Geminus?"

"Would you like to dance with me please?"

Lupin glanced behind Kara at the group of Gryffindor girls who were watching with cheeky grins.

"Well I'm not...."

"You can not deny this lovely girl a dance Remus."

Kara smiled gratefully at Dumbledore and dragged Lupin on to the dance floor. She was trying her best to ignore the catcalls from the other students. Once their dance had ended Lupin tried to return to the sidelines but Hermione grabbed him and he was forced to dance with her.

When the next song came on, Harry and Kara went to dance followed by Ron and Hermione and Jenna and Draco. As the song finished, the others went to get a drink leaving Jenna and Draco dancing. Kara spotted Oliver standing moodily at the edge of the room and when Jenna glanced at Kara she inclined her head that way. Before Jenna could go over to him, more music came on. The sound of "Do You Love Me?" from the film Dirty Dancing filled the room and Jenna caught her sister's eye with a grin. Kara chuckled quietly and nudged Hermione.

"Malfoy's in for a treat."

"What?"

"Just watch."

To the amusement of the Gryffindors and shock of the Slytherins, Jenna and Draco started doing their own dirty dancing. When the song had began, Jenna had tapped Draco's feet further apart and stepped into him - pressing her body against his and placing her hands on his hips.

"Move from here down."

Jenna directed moving Draco's hips with her as they danced. Draco didn't need any more instruction after that - he soon got the jist of the dance and they did their own version of the dance that Jenna had seen in the Muggle movie.

Halfway through the song Kara saw Oliver storm on the dance floor and over to the grinding couple.

"We need to talk NOW!"

Before Jenna could retort Oliver led her, not so gently, out of the Great Hall. As she passed Kara the twins grinned at each other, all other issues forgotten. Oliver had acted exactly as they suspected. Hermione grinned at Kara who laughed.

"I taught my sister well."

--------------------------

After everyone had watched Oliver and Jenna leave the hall, they turned their attention back to dancing. Hermione and Kara watched as McGonagall went to leave before she was stopped by Dumbledore who led her in a dance. Harry, Ron, Hermione and Kara sat at one of the tables but when the talk turned to Quidditch the girls left to get a drink.

"So what do you think Jenna and Oliver are doing right now?"

"Knowing Jen she is probably still yelling at him. If he can ever get her to shut up, then who knows?"

"So that's why she danced with Malfoy like that?"

"Yeah normally that's my speciality at dances. Jen knows that I sometimes use it as a wind-up though."

"Personally...."

Before Kara could hear what Hermione thought on the subject, Draco interrupted.

"You going to dance with me then Kara?"

Hermione took it upon herself to answer.

"As she is Harry's date, I think you should ask if he doesn't mind Malfoy. Don't you agree Kara?"

"Err ... yeah"

Throwing a disgruntled look at Hermione, Draco headed over to Harry and Ron followed by a worried Kara.

"Oi Potter...."

"What do you want Malfoy?"

"Just a dance with Kara"

"What's the matter Malfoy, you lost your date? Oh yeah so you did."

Draco chose to ignore Ron and looked questioningly at Harry. Kara sat next to him quickly and whispered in Harry's ear.

"Please hun, I know he is a git but let's keep the peace."

Harry turned back to Draco with a warning look.

"If Kara doesn't mind, then it's okay with me."

Before Kara could say how she felt, Draco pulled her on to the dance floor. Once out of earshot of Harry, Kara questioned Draco.

"What are you playing at?"

"It's just a dance Kay...."

Kara winced at the use of her sister's nickname for her. Draco should not be getting that familiar.

"... Am I that irresistible that you can't control yourself for one dance?"

Kara bit her tongue before she could answer. A wicked grin danced across her lips as she heard the song start - 'Get Mine, Get Yours' by Christina Aguilera. Kara decided to show Draco that Jenna wasn't the only Geminus girl that knew how to sexy dance. 'Let's see how long Draco can control himself,' Kara silently challenged.

"Have you heard this song before hun?"

Draco smirked at the purring tone in Kara's voice.

"No, why?"

"Just listen to the words. It can be our song."

_ All this tension and taunting just exactly what they should be ... I don't mind us being some kind of casual thing. _

Kara slowly moved up and down Draco's body while pushing up against him - her lips moving dangerously close to his at times.

_ If you see me with another man understand you can't question me ... ain't my fault, can't help your jealousy. _

Draco muttered to Kara as they danced.

"What are you doing?"

"Tell me to stop then."

_ Move my hips to the baseline ... put my back in to a slow grind. _

Kara slowly danced all the way around Draco before facing him again.

"So....?"

Draco swallowed nervously.

"W ... What?"

"Can this be our song?"

Draco nodded slowly.

_ It ain't about the kissing and hugging ... straight sweatin' our bodies are rubbing _

As the song ended, Kara quickly whispered inco's ear.

"Looks like you are the one who has a problem 'controlling' himself, Mr Malfoy."

With that she spun on her heel, leaving a very flustered Draco on the dance floor. As Kara headed over to Harry she winced as she saw the furious look on his face.

"What the hell was that?"

"Dancing...."

As Harry continued to look furious Kara guessed the sarcastic approach wouldn't help matters.

"... It's no big deal - I would dance with Ron that way."

Kara inclined her head at Ron, whose eyes lit up cheekily.

"Really?"

"RONALD WEASLEY!"

Kara chuckled as she watched an apologetic Ron chase after a disgusted Hermione. The laughter died on her lips when she turned back to Harry.

"I only let you dance with Malfoy to prove I trust you but I guess I can't."

Kara visibly flinched, that comment hurt more then Harry could guess but part of it annoyed her

"Let me? No-one let's me do anything. I'll do what I damn well please."

"Fine, well go do it with Malfoy then."

Harry stormed out of the Great Hall with Kara on his heels. She called out after him as he reached the stairs.

"Harry, hun, wait ... I'm sorry; I didn't mean to hurt you."

Harry stopped and slowly turned round in silence.

"Look, I am sorry. I didn't think about what I was doing."

Kara slowly approached Harry, her eyes lowered and her voice soft. If Jenna had been there she would have warned Harry that he was soon going to back down - Kara often used this tactic to win arguments.

"I honestly didn't think that it was a big deal. I mean, at the end of the day, I'm dating you not Malfoy and you're the one I actually wan.t"

A slight smile flickered across Harry's face but he quickly hid it.

"Well next time dance with me like that then."

"Yes sir."

Kara glanced up at Harry. She knew she was risking it with the sarcastic comment but luckily Harry smiled at her

"At least you know your place."

Kara burst out laughing and the tension eased between them. Harry slung his arm around Kara's shoulders.

"Come on, I'm bored of the dance now. Let's get out of here."

Kara let Harry lead her away. She knew by not letting her go back to the dance that he hadn't completely forgiven her but she also knew she deserved it.

As Harry and Kara curled up on the sofa in the Gryffindor common room, the subject Kara had been dreading came up again

"So can you ever tell me why Voldemort dislikes you two so much?"

Kara swallowed. She knew Dumbledore would want Harry to know but she risked Jenna's wrath if she did. As she hesitated, Harry quickly leaned forward and kissed her.

"Don't worry about it then."

Kara quickly made up her mind, ignoring the consequences.

"No, it's okay. I will tell you but you have to promise not to interrupt until I'm done, okay?"

"Okay."

"Here goes. Our great-great-great grandmother was interested in what happened when you die. She developed what she thought was a doorway to the 'other side' and hid it in the depths of the Ministry. However, I'm not sure how, she found out that she had failed and the doorway just succeeded in trapping souls in limbo. She eventually managed to find a way to bring trapped people back via a specific spell and ritual...."

Kara paused for breath, noticing the developing awareness in Harry's eyes.

"... However the spell often doesn't work as it is very complex and the littlest error can mean the person will come back dead or somehow 'wrong', there have only been a couple of times that it was successful. The best time to perform the spell is on the anniversary of the person's passing through the doorway but this doesn't mean it will work...."

"So what has this got to do with you and Jenna?"

"Well, a spell was then cast over the Geminus family to ensure that a set of twins was born in every generation. They alone would be taught the spell and ritual and they would be the only ones who could perform it. We are only destined to bring one person back from limbo - if we tried to bring back anyone else then, well you don't want to know."

"So...."

"Hang on. Voldemort wants to kill me and Jenna to stop the spell being performed as it has been prophesied that the person who we are destined to bring back will have the answer to destroying Voldemort."

Harry's eyes darkened as Kara mentioned a prophecy.

"This doorway ... you are talking about the veil in the Department of Mysteries aren't you?"

Kara refused to meet Harry's gaze but he lifted her chin up so his eyes bored into hers.

"Aren't you?"

"Yes."

"And who are you mean to bring back?"

Kara jumped up of the sofa and started pacing the room.

"Understand Harry, the spell is not likely to work...."

"Who?"

Kara sighed.

"Sirius Black."

Harry jumped up and swung Kara around with a big grin on his face.

"You mean that you and Jenna will bring Sirius back?"

"No."

Harry stopped in confusion.

"But...."

"We might be able to, but there is every chance that something will go wrong. Besides both of us have to be in agreement to perform the spell and the risks are too high in Jenna's opinion."

"What?"

"Harry, listen to me. Jenna can't be pushed - she's ten times more stubborn then I am. Just let me work on her for now."

Harry nodded, although his displeasure was clear on his face.

"You must also promise not to tell anyone about the spell, even Ron and Hermione. It's safer no one knows."

"Yeah okay. I get that part."

Kara pulled Harry back on to the sofa and they continued talking about the spell. It wasn't until the remaining Gryffindors traipsed into the room that Kara and Harry finally talked about something else.

--------------------------------

Sunlight streamed through the open window on to Jenna's face disturbing her sleep. She opened her eyes groggily and looked around the room. At first she thought she was somehow back in her room at home but the lack of clothes on the floor made that unlikely. Her eyes focused on a Quidditch poster across the room from her - 'Puddlemere United? This is definitely not my room.' Jenna shifted uncomfortably until she realised the problem was a very male arm strewn across her. She smiled as she realised where she was and the events of the night before dawned on her

- FLASHBACK -

Once Oliver and Jenna left the Great Hall, Jenna began to protest about being pulled away from the dance.

"Will you stop it ... where are we going?"

Oliver continued in silence and pulled Jenna in to an empty classroom.

"I swear, if you don't let go ... oh...."

Oliver turned to face Jenna, disgust written on his face as he ranted furiously

"What the hell were you doing?"

"Dancing."

Jenna, as always, went for the sarcastic approach echoing how her sister would answer Harry later that evening.

"You know you do that at these things. That's why it's called a dance," Jenna elaborated, her tone still full of sarcasm

"Dancing? Yeah right. All evening you have acted and dressed like a ... like a...."

"Whore? Is that the word you want? Well you can go fuck off - I'm just finally having some fun."

"So we never had fun together?"

"When you weren't having TA issues, then yes."

A hurt look appeared on Oliver's face but it just inflamed Jenna's anger further.

"Don't bother looking like that; you were the one who said you didn't want me...."

"I never said that...."

Jenna turned away from him and started pacing the room.

"Well as good as. How did it go again, oh yeah 'me TA, you student', like I need reminding that you freak every time that we're getting too close ... or more correctly when McGonagall decides that her little protégée shouldn't be getting involved with a student."

"Jen it's not like that."

"The hell it isn't! I'm 16 not 6, I'm not blind Oliver, and I'm not so naive that I can't tell when something is going on - even if you insist that when you come back all closed off that it was about 'work stuff'. Bullshit Oliver, I know that's not what it was about."

"Jenna will you just listen to me for a second?"

"No I won't. What is it with you? You didn't want to take me to the dance so I went with someone else - what's the problem? You can't have me so no-one else can either? Bloody typical male logic."

Oliver strode over and put his hands on Jenna's shoulders forcing her to face him.

"No, no-one else is allowed to have you."

"See, what did I...."

"Will you shut up?! No one else can have you because I want you too much."

Jenna nearly retorted to being told to shut up but Oliver continued before she could say anything.

"I'm sorry about the other day. I was stupid to listen to McGonagall instead of how I actually felt."

Jenna's mouth parted slightly but she didn't know what to say.

"I really like you Jen - despite the age difference and me being a TA and I want to be with you."

Jenna gave a faint smile but anything she was going to say died in her throat as Oliver kissed her. Jenna put her arms around him and kissed him back. Oliver had slowly pushed Jenna back against a desk when a small cough interrupted them.

"I don't mean to disturb you but as Headmaster I feel I should have a say on the matter of my TA dating a student."

Oliver and Jenna jumped apart and looked worriedly at Dumbledore. He stood in the doorway of the classroom with a fuming McGonagall at his side.

"Now now, don't worry. Personally I'm all for it as long ... as you two will keep moments like just now a little more discrete."

Oliver and Jenna looked at each other relieved, although they were slightly blushing. McGonagall did not look happy and decided to have her say.

"But Albus surely...."

"Come now Minerva, it wouldn't be the first time that a student and teacher were in a relationship now, would it?"

McGonagall flushed slightly under Dumbledore's gaze, although her lips were set in a thin line. Dumbledore turned back to the pair, his eyes twinkling.

"Now we must return to the dance and I suggest you two continue your conversation somewhere more private!"

The teachers left, leaving a very amused Oliver and Jenna to look at each other.

"So I guess we have the seal of approval?"

"I guess we do. Come on, I've got somewhere we can go."

Oliver led Jenna up to his room, which she then proceeded to nose around.

"Nice place, not sure about your poster choice though."

Oliver chuckled as Jenna wrinkled her nose in disgust at his Puddlemere United pictures which were all over his walls.

"Well we will have to agree to disagree on that matter. Now if you have finished being nosy, will you come here?"

Jenna shyly headed over to Oliver and soon they were kissing. As Oliver picked her up and headed over to the bed, Jenna made a silent vow to thank her sister for the red dress.

- END FLASHBACK -

Jenna lay remembering until a movement to the side of her caught her attention. She rolled over and saw Oliver smiling at her.

"Good morning."

"You owe me twenty sickles mister."

Oliver looked confused but was soon laughing as Jenna explained Hermione's bet. Jenna sat up and grimaced as she felt her head start to bang.

"Bloody alcohol."

She glanced down at what she was wearing and yelped in disgust.

"You git, this is a Puddlemere United top."

Jenna jumped out of bed and flung on her dress from the night before. She was desperately trying not to be sick as her head was pounding.

"Do you have to go now?"

"Yeah sorry hun. Kara's probably wondering where I am. You will be coming up to the common room later though?"

"Of course."

Jenna smiled and kissed Oliver goodbye. Despite feeling ecstatic, she slowly made her way back to the dorm - she didn't think her head or stomach could handle fast movement.

To Jenna's disgust, the Gryffindor common room was very noisy as Ron and Harry were playing Exploding Snap. Jenna groaned and gestured to her sister to come over.

"Have you got any hangover cure?"

Kara smirked and looked questioningly at Jenna's clothes.

"Yes, I've already made some for the rest of us. Where the hell have you been all night?"

"Cure first, talk later."

While Kara went to get the cure, Jenna slumped in a nearby chair. Once she drunk the potion, the feeling of nausea passed.

"Well? I take it you and Oliver are fine?"

Jenna smirked.

"Oliver is very fine."

"Jen, you know what I mean - bloody woman!"

Kara's look of frustration turned to one of amusement as Jenna told her what had happened the night before. Once Jenna had finished, Kara plucked up her courage and jumped in.

"It bodes well for me that you are happy right now. Last night, I told Harry about the spell."

"YOU WHAT?"

Ron and Hermione glanced over at Jenna confused but Harry distracted them before they could get involved.

"Before you start on me, he knows now so I can't take it back. I told him about the risks and he also knows not to push you about it and he has promised not to tell anyone else."

Kara spoke quickly, not allowing Jenna time to butt in. Surprisingly when she finished, Jenna nodded and spoke calmly.

"Fine, I'm not happy about it but nothing is going to spoil my good mood today. Just make sure Harry does as he is told."

With that, Jenna went over to the others and was soon playing Exploding Snap with Ron. As Kara slid on to Harry's lap, they exchanged a knowing look. Kara shook her head in amusement, 'Damn Oliver must be good. I owe him big time.'
