The Wednesday before the Hogsmeade trip came round slowly. Kara sat in the library, waiting for Draco. As much as she hated to admit it, her feelings for him weren't going away. They were just disguised with hate when he was having a particularly Malfoy moment.

"Thinking of me?"

Kara looked up startled, her thoughts interrupted.

"Huh?"

"Well, you had an annoyed look on your face so I guessed you were thinking of me."

"No, I have another look on my face when I think of you."

"Oh?"

Draco raised an eyebrow but Kara just smiled and started reading. They worked in silence for a while - one occasionally sneaking a look at the other when they weren't looking. Eventually Kara slammed her book on the table. She sighed and rubbed at her neck.

"I give up. There is nothing in these books that we haven't already written."

Draco looked up from his book and sat back, sighing too.

"You're right."

He eyed Kara rubbing her neck and went over to her.

"Get up."

"What?"

Kara looked at him questioningly as she stood up. Draco sat in her armchair and gestured for her to sit in between his legs.

"Excuse me?"

"Just sit, Kara."

She sat down reluctantly and stiffened as his hands went on her shoulders.

"Relax."

She did just that as Draco slowly massaged her neck and shoulders. She slowly leaned back into him and didn't notice when he first kissed her neck - she registered the second one though.

"Draco...."

He kissed her neck again.

"Tell me to stop then."

Kara opened her mouth but she knew it was useless, she didn't want him to stop.

"Well, this looks cosy!"

Draco's hands slipped from Kara's shoulders as they both noticed Pansy in front of them, hands on her hips. Kara groaned quietly before getting up and moving to the table with their notes on, ignoring Pansy's filthy look as she passed.

"Well?"

"Well what, Pansy?"

Draco glared at Pansy who went over and slid onto his lap much to his and Kara's disgust.

"Nothing Draco baby, I'm just fed up with, what's her name, that Jenna girl. God she is so thick!"

"Excuse me?"

Kara's temper flared as she stood up. She was mainly annoyed with herself but she decided to let Pansy face her anger instead. Pansy got off Draco's lap and went to face Kara,

"You heard me"

"Please, Jenna's not thick. You're just too stupid to understand her."

"I am not stupid."

"Oh, complete sentence - did that have hurt?"

Before Pansy could reply Draco intervened - slipping his arm around Pansy's waist and pulling her back onto the seat with him.

"Ignore her. She's only a bloody Gryffindor, remember?"

Pansy shot a triumphant look at Kara who sneered and packed her stuff away. She went to storm off.

"Hey, wait up!"

Draco got up after her, dumping Pansy on the floor in the process. Kara grinned at Pansy before turning back to Draco.

"What?"

"Where are you going?"

"Back to the bloody Gryffindor dorm."

Draco winced and shot a look at Pansy before mouthing 'sorry' to Kara. She shook her head.

"Besides, I thought you two would want to be alone."

Draco smirked slightly at the look on Kara's face.

"Are you jealous, Miss Geminus?"

"Get over yourself, Mr Malfoy."

Kara shot an evil look over Draco's shoulder at Pansy then headed out of the library.

Everyone was up and dressed early on the day of the Hogsmeade trip. Ron still hadn't officially asked out Hermione so they were just going as 'friends'. Jenna went down to the entrance hall with the gang and met Oliver there. She rushed up and kissed him on the cheek.

"Not that I'm complaining, but what was that for?"

"For making sure I'm not a fifth wheel."

Oliver smiled as they linked arms and headed out with the others. Neither of them noticed the stern look McGonagall gave them as they passed her.

When they arrived at Hogsmeade, Ron dragged a reluctant Hermione to Honeydukes yelling that they would meet the others in The Three Broomsticks later. Kara turned to Harry, who had been unusually quiet all morning.

"So where do you want to go? I'm in your hands as I've never been here before."

Harry glanced up the hill and pointed to the Shrieking Shack.

"We need to talk - let's go up there."

Kara turned to shrug at Jenna and Oliver, who looked slightly worried, and then traipsed after Harry.

Harry and Kara reached the Shrieking Shack in silence, each lost in their own thoughts. Harry sat down, pulling Kara with him, and began to talk straight away.

"I don't know how much Dumbledore told you about the last few years but I guess it is my turn to fill you in."

Harry paused and turned to look at the Shack. Kara followed his gaze.

"What is it about this place, hun?"

Harry sighed and met Kara's worried gaze.

"This place has a lot of ties with my godfather...."

Once Harry started talking, he found he couldn't stop. Everything came tumbling out: the Marauders, Sirius being framed, how he and the others caught Wormtail, Lupin being a werewolf and the near fatal joke Sirius played on Snape. Once Harry started on the subject of his various battles with Voldemort he could feel tears threatening to fall.

"....and so Voldemort never got to hear the prophecy."

"What did it say?"

"It said...."

Harry swallowed nervously - he didn't know how Kara would react to the truth.

"I haven't even told Ron and Hermione this yet ... it said, either I have to kill Voldemort or he will kill me."

Kara sat open mouthed. She knew her and her sister had their problem with Voldemort, but this was much worse. She did the only thing she could do and hugged Harry, who finally burst into tears. They sat for what seemed forever until Harry stopped and pulled back.

"Sorry."

"Hell, don't be. You didn't say and you don't have to, but how did Sirius die? Did Bellatrix Avada Kedavra him?"

Harry looked at the floor and ran his fingers through his hair.

"No. There is a veil in the Department of Mysteries deep inside the Ministry. Sirius fell through that."

If Harry had been looking at Kara, he would have seen a look of pure horror register on her face. 'No it can't be. Is Sirius the one?' Kara's mind was racing and she didn't notice Harry move closer until he kissed her. She kissed him back urgently, trying to block out her thoughts. The kiss lasted a long time until they both pulled back breathless.

"Remind me to get you alone again soon, Mr Potter!"

Harry slowly matched Kara's cheeky grin.

"Definitely, but now I guess we had better go meet the others."

They stood up and walked hand-in-hand back to the village. Harry was for once not worrying about the future but, deep down, Kara's mind was in a whirl.

------------------------

While Harry and Kara were talking up at the Shack, Oliver was showing Jenna around Hogsmeade.

"I still think Zonko's was the best shop."

"Even compared to Honeydukes?"

Jenna pretended to think deeply about this causing Oliver to laugh.

"Well, okay, maybe Honeydukes was better!"

Jenna was glad in a way she had asked Oliver to take her to Hogsmeade. Outside of Hogwarts, the fact that he was a TA wasn't an issue and they acted like a normal couple. She knew that when they got back, however, Oliver would start acting awkward again and Jenna didn't know how much longer she could put up with it. They walked along until Oliver stopped outside Madam Puddifoot's.

"Fancy a coffee?"

"Yeah, okay."

Jenna followed him inside but froze when she saw the couples at every table. She turned and hissed at Oliver.

"You didn't tell me this was a couples place."

Jenna looked around at the couples to the left and right of her making goo goo eyes at each other over the sugar pot.

Oliver shrugged innocently.

"Sorry I forgot, we can go if you like."

"No its okay. Just next time, warn me and I'll bring a bucket of cold water."

Jenna joked, inkling her head towards the couples around her. Oliver chuckled in amusement, and a little embarrassment, at forgetting that this was more of a couple's place - how many times had he been here during his years at Hogwarts?

Jenna shook her head and they went over to order. 'What is the problem?' she asked herself. 'He won't be wanna be a proper couple when we get back is what,' the voice in her head replied. Jenna had never noticed before but it sounded remarkably like Kara.

They sat down to drink their coffees. Jenna stretched a hand out to the sugar bowl at the same time as Oliver.

"Sorry," they both muttered, retracting their hands.

"Ladies first."

"Would you mind telling me where one is so I can offer her the sugar?"

Jenna pretended to look around as she tried to make light of the awkward moment.

"Okay then. Chasers first."

Oliver amended. Jenna gave Oliver an amused smile as she helped herself to sugar, before Oliver did the same. During the conversation, Jenna would occasionally drum her fingers lightly on the table - the fourth time she did this, Oliver place a hand gently on hers.

"Sorry, nervous habit."

"Why are you nervous?"

Jenna shrugged in reply. Oliver still hadn't removed his hand from hers.

"It's only me," Oliver added softly.

"I know, I think the happy couples are grating on me."

"We can go if you like."

"No, no, it's okay. I've not finished my coffee yet."

Oliver's hand was still on hers and he had started to rub it gently with his thumb, causing her to flush slightly. She didn't pull it away but instead met his eye. Oliver was leaning over to kiss her when a voice interrupted them.

"Hey, can we join you?"

Jenna and Oliver looked up to see Ginny and Dean standing in front of their table. Jenna could not hide her annoyance and answered sharply.

"If you must."

Ginny looked a little taken back but they both sat down and eventually Jenna calmed down - although when Oliver placed his hand on her leg under the table, she found it hard to concentrate. After a second cup of coffee, Oliver glanced at his watch.

"We better go and meet the others."

With a wave goodbye to Ginny and Dean, Oliver and Jenna left Madam Puddifoot's and headed to The Three Broomsticks - each wishing they could have more time to be alone.

Harry, Kara, Ron and Hermione were already seated and drinking Butterbeers when they arrived.

"Late I see, been busy?"

"Yes thanks, what about you and Hermione?"

The others giggled as Ron and Hermione both blushed. As Oliver went to get some drinks, Jenna looked over at her sister and she knew something was wrong. Kara caught her eye and fiddled with her necklace meaningfully. Jenna shrugged, confused, but did not say anything as she guessed they would talk later.

"So what's the Halloween feast like?"

"Bloody brilliant, there's plenty of food."

Hermione shook her head smiling at Ron then turned to the twins.

"So are we going to hear some music later?"

"Yeah, I want to hear why you think Muggle music is so good."

Jenna and Kara smiled at each other, they had already talked about this.

"Yeah, we though after the feast we could have our own private party in the common room."

"Cool!"

They were all still planning the party as they headed back to Hogwarts for the feast, later that evening.
