In this chapter Thea and Malfoy have a few run ins, to put it mildly. We find out more about Elemental Magic and find out who is going to be thrown out of the class. The dreaded History of Magic tutorial is finally here. Does it end up being as bad as Thea thinks it will be? Ginny also manages to make things that much worse for Thea without meaning to.

The autumn term continues. Ginny and Thea have an interesting conversation with Sirius and Remus. Thea has an even more interesting conversation with Malfoy.

Thea learns more about Malfoy while Malfoy has his first run in with Harry of the year. Mayhem ensues.
