Harry, Hermione, Ron, and the rest of their classmates return to Hogwarts for their seventh and final year. Malfoy returns as well, as Head Boy. Hermione is Head Girl, and she is determined to come to a compromise with Malfoy. They do, and as the year progresses, their compromise is struggling to become more. Malfoy begins to have feelings he has never had before, and Hermione is the cause. As the threat of Voldemort hovers over the castle, Malfoy has to make a decision, which is spurred on when he recieves an assignment from Voldemort. He has to choose between death and life, something that he has never experienced.
