Why is Ginny so good at potions? Malfoy wondered as he plopped onto the couch in the Slytherin common room. He had just gotten back from the library.
Did I just call that weasel Ginny? No, I couldn't have. Draco didn't even go up to the dormitories; instead, he fell asleep right on the couch.
~*~*~*~*~
Ginny sat in the library, and was getting frustrated because Malfoy was late. Finally, he showed up.
"It's about time," Ginny said aggravated.
"Listen, do you have the potion or not?" Draco responded.
"Yes." Ginny reached in her bag and grabbed the full vial. "You better take it now, or it may not work until tomorrow." She handed Draco the vial.
"That tasted pretty good," Draco commented.
"Alright well let's start working on some more first year stuff. What is the difference between Monkshood and Wolfsbane?"
"That's easy, there is no difference."
"I guess it is already starting to work."
~*~*~*~*~
Draco drank the potion that Ginny handed him. It made his head buzz, but it tasted like strawberries. When Ginny asked him a question, he knew the answer. He knew many things. Then he remembered what happened last night in the library.
"Hey Ginny," Draco started.
"Ginny?" she asked confused.
"Yeah, that's your name, isn't it?"
"Well, I thought you called me weasel."
"About that- I'm sorry that I've been calling you weasel."
Ginny stared at Draco. "What?"
"Well, I guess that I've like you for a while, and, I don't know. I guess that I hope I didn't hurt your feelings by calling you a weasel."
"Draco. Draco Malfoy. Are you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm just fine. Why?"
"Well, it's just that..." Suddenly Ginny stopped. "I have to go. I'll see you later."
"Okay," Draco said. "I'll meet you here tomorrow again. Or maybe even before that." Draco watched Ginny leave the library. This time, he didn't shake out of his head, the image of her in a bathing suit.
~*~*~*~*~
Ginny dropped her books on the table in the common room. Then she sprinted up the stairs to the dormitories. She grabbed her back, pulled out the potion vial that was in there, and sprinted back down the stairs.
"Harry," Ginny said out of breath when she saw Harry, Hermione, and Ron on the couch.
"Hey Ginny," he replied. "Heard you had to tutor Malfoy. What a bummer. If he does anything to you, let me know."
"Listen Harry, can you taste this potion for me?"
"What does it do?" Ron asked, as if reading Harry's mind.
"Nothing. It may make you a little hyper, but I need you to tell me how it tastes."
"Okay." Harry took the vial from Ginny and took a sip. "It tastes just like water."
"Thanks Harry." Ginny took the vial back, and sprinted back up the stairs again.
She grabbed the potion book and stepped out onto the balcony. Slowly, she sat down and opened to the love potion. Carefully she read the description.
This love potion is bright red in color, and has a strawberry taste. If mixed with another potion, it turns the color of the potion already in the vial, however it keeps its same taste. In order to find its strength, read down and find the donor's body part inserted to the potion.
Ginny read down and found eyelash.
When an eyelash is inserted, the recipient will freely express their positive feelings toward the donor. If there are more negative feelings than positive feelings, there will be no effect.
'Great,' Ginny thought. 'Now Draco drank the love potion when I mixed it with his concentration potion. Shit, now what am I going to do? Shit, shit, shit. Well, I always did think that Draco was handsome.'
~*~*~*~*~
Draco was shaken awake from his deep slumber.
"Come on, lazy bones," Pansy giggled. "Were going to Hogsmede today."
"I never said that I was going with you," Draco recalled. "In fact we aren't even going out. Why are you acting like we are?"
"Please, Draco! You know I really like you."
"Yes, but I only like you as a friend. Besides, I'm going with someone else."
"What? Who are you going with?"
"Ginny."
"Ginny Weasley?"
"Yeah. She's pretty cool. She's not like any of the other Weasley's. In fact she has changed so much, I think that if you didn't know her, you wouldn't think she was a Weasley."
Pansy started to cry.
"It's alright Pansy. Maybe once in a while we can still go up to the astronomy tower at night. It will be a while until I can get Ginny to do it."
"But those nights won't be special anymore," Pansy whimpered.
"Yeah, your right. Never mind. We won't have those nights anymore." Draco pushed Pansy off his bed, and onto the floor.
~*~*~*~*~
Ginny walked alone, behind all of her Gryffindor classmates. She was thinking about what Draco said to her in the library, and the love potion. That was how he really felt about her.
"Hey, Ginny," Draco voiced, coming up behind her.
"Oh, hi Draco," Ginny replied.
"So, do you want to hang out at Hogsmede today?"
Draco was being nice, so she decided it would be fun. "Sure."
~*~*~*~*~
Draco watched Ginny's body move as she led him into a bookstore. Oh, how he wanted to touch her, and caress her. He walked up next to her, and put his arm around her waist. She looked at him, but he reassured her.
"So, what book are you looking for?" Draco asked.
"I don't want to buy anything today. I just like coming in to look at all the books," Ginny replied.
Slowly, Draco slid his hand over Ginny's ass.
"Hey," Ginny said as she turned to look at Malfoy.
"Sorry, my hand slipped," he lied.
They walked back towards the door. Then Draco leaned over a kissed Ginny on the lips.
"Sorry, I slipped again," he lied.
~*~*~*~*~
Ginny tried to imagine what her brother would say if he saw Draco put his hand across her ass like he just did. He would try to stick his fist down Malfoy's throat.
Suddenly, Draco kissed Ginny.
"Sorry, I slipped again," he lied.
"I'm sure you did." Ginny looked at Draco's eyes. Once they used to be piercing blue. That was when she despised him. Now she looked beyond his eyes, and saw sky blue. Ginny took Draco's hand, forgetting about the potion. Although, Draco insisted on keeping it around he waist.
When they left the bookstore, it was time to go back to the school. As the walked, the passed many people whom Ginny saw in school. Most of them were Slytherins.
"Hey Ginny," a couple girls said.
"Hi, Ginny, one boy said.
"I like your skirt, Ginny," one girl complemented.
"Draco, why are all these people talking to me?" Ginny asked.
"It's because you aren't like your family," Draco answered. "You are so much better than them. You shouldn't be living with the rest of that pack of weasels."
"Hey!" Ginny shouted.
"Well, that's the truth. You never talk to them. You never act like them, and you don't even look like them. Your sexy."
Ginny took this into consideration, but she was still hurt by his insult to her family.
~*~*~*~*~
'Poor Ginny,' thought Malfoy. 'She has never experienced what it is like to be popular. This will be good for her.'
"You aren't like your family. You are so much better than they are. You shouldn't be living with the rest of that pack of weasels."
I can't believe that she is actually hurt by this! She isn't at all like them! They are ugly and disgusting, but Ginny is sexy and sweet. Not to mention, she is a pureblood. Wait, I just described a Slytherin.
