The Gryffindor table was all laughing at breakfast, after Ginny Weasley told them thousands of jokes. Everybody was friends with Ginny, and she loved having so many good friends. Life could not get any better.
'Ding.... Ding,' went Ginny's alarm clock. Ginny sprang up only to notice that there was no one around her. No friends; she was all alone.
In silence, Ginny got ready for classes. In a way, Ginny started to turn out like Hermione. She was always reading and studying for school; after all, it was not as if she had any friend to hang around with. Ginny quickly took up an interest in potions. Even though Professor Snape did not like any of the Weasley's he sometimes gave Ginny a good grade on accident because he would not notice her.
Now a 6th year, Ginny grew into a young lady. Her physique was sexy and her hair was no longer obnoxiously red. It was more of a brownish red.
When the Dream Team, Harry, Ron, and Hermione, helped get rid of Voldemort, Ron was the famous one in his family. His brothers were often referred to as 'Ron Weasley's brother,' but Ginny was never recognized as 'the sister of Ron.' Ginny was just Ginny. Almost as if she did not exist.
This morning she did not have any classes, so she went to the library. Once again, she took out a book on potions. For an hour, Ginny flipped through the pages, and writing on parchment different kinds of potions, she could do on her own. Then she came across a page showing a love potion.
She was amazed that not all of the ingredients were far from reach, and she could defiantly make it. If only she could be in love! To be able to have someone there to hold on to. Ron had Hermione, and Harry had Parivati. Ginny used to be in love with Harry. However, her heart could only be broken a few times before she gave up on him and all other classmates.
Whom would she give it to? It will be a surprise, she concluded. I will pour some into an unsuspecting guy's drink, and he will love me! Ginny copied down all of the ingredients and directions. Then she hurried off to her next class; potions.
*~*~*~*~*
"But Professor Snape, this is so unfair!" Ginny shouted as she followed him to his desk.
"That is the grade you deserve," he said with an evil stare.
"How come I got the same answers as Keith, but he got a better grade than me?"
"Maybe he does work harder than you. Now leave."
"I just don't..."
"Severus," Professor McGonagall voiced as she quickly walked into the room, with Draco Malfoy trailing behind.
"What is it Minerva?"
"Many students have brought it to my attention that they are getting poorer grades than your house students, even when they deserve a higher grade."
"I give the students the grade they deserve."
"I believe not. I looked at Mr. Malfoy's test, and every question is wrong, yet some how he manages to get a high score."
"Malfoy works hard in class. He just does bad on tests, so I feel he deserves some credit."
"Well, I am going to assign him a tutor. Ginny, you will be a good tutor for Mr. Malfoy." Both Draco and Ginny looked at Professor McGonagall with blank stares.
"You've got to be kidding me," Draco finally spoke.
"If you want to pass this semester I suggest you start right away. I will watching your grading Severus." Professor McGonagall walked out of the classroom.
~*~*~*~*~
Draco followed Professor McGonagall into the potion's classroom. He was not quite sure what her problem was today, but she always had a problem. He eyed the girl standing in front of Snape. All he could see was her butt, and it was a very cute butt. Then the girl turned around. The first thing he saw was her chest. Great cleavage, he thought.
Then Draco realized that it was a weasel. I did not just think that the weasel was sexy, I did not just think that the weasel was sexy, no, no, Malfoy told himself. While he was trying to forget about his thoughts, McGonagall and Snape were arguing about something, but he did not care. Not until he heard...
"Well, I am going to assign him a tutor. Ginny, you will be a good tutor for Mr. Malfoy." Draco could not believe he had to talk to a weasel!
"You've got to be kidding me," Draco finally spoke.
"If you want to pass this semester I suggest you start right away. I will watching your grading Severus." Professor McGonagall walked out of the classroom.
"Fine Weasel. Seven o'clock tonight, in the library."
~*~*~*~*~
Ginny went to the library before dinner, and stayed there until it was time to study with Malfoy. Oh, how she despised the fact that she had to teach Draco such easy material!
The table was piled with books on potions that Ginny had picked out before hand. She wanted to get as much studying done in one night with Malfoy so they would not have to have many sessions.
Then, Malfoy walked in and set his books down.
"Lets get this over with," he told Ginny. "Teach me."
"Okay," Ginny said quietly, and she rummaged through a book on things she could teach Malfoy. Then she closed it. "Well start with the basics. Alright, let's see, do you know what happens when you mix powdered root of asphodel with an infusion of wormwood?"
"Uh, no," he replied.
"Come on Malfoy! It is the sleeping potion, Draught of the Living Dead! I learned this first year!"
"Well if you learned so much then why don't you make me a potion that can make me do better in class!"
"Fine! I'll meet you back her tomorrow!" Ginny grabbed the potion book, and stormed out of the library. She stopped outside, almost wanting to go back in. That was the longest conversation that she had with anybody in a long time.
~*~*~*~*~
Draco walked into the library after eating a good dinner. He was not looking forward to studying potions, but he did want to study her shape.
No, no, no, Malfoy told himself. I did not just think that, I did not just think that.
Once he got into the library, he spotted Ginny, and walked over to her. He dropped his books, just wanting to get this tutoring over with.
Ginny starting asking him hard questions that he did not know the answer to.
"Well if you learned so much then why don't you make me a potion that can make me do better in class!" Draco just wanted to get this over with. As Ginny walked out of the library, Draco looked at her body again. He imagined her in a bathing suit. Then he shook his head fiercely, and walked out.
~*~*~*~*~
Ginny sat on the balcony of the dormitories with a cauldron in front of her. She was making Draco's concentration potion. No body ever went onto the balcony, which was why Ginny liked it so much. She was all by herself.
Next to her were two potion vials. She wanted to make up the love potion tonight. In one vial was water, because you had to add the love potion to water. The other was empty.
In about 10 minutes, the timer rang, and the concentration potion was finished. Ginny picked up the vial on the left and poured the potion into it. The potion came out clear, just as the description had said.
Ginny started making the love potion and things were going smoothly. When it was finished, the timer went off again.
"Ginny," Parivati voiced from inside the dormitories. "Ginny, what was that noise?"
Ginny hurried up, pushed the cauldron aside, and boxed up the ingredients.
"Ginny, don't make me come out there. Ginny?"
She needed to pour the potion in the vial. She forgot which one was the concentration potion. Therefore, she picked up the vial on the left, and poured the potion in the vial.
