CHAPTER 5 - FLOURISH & BLOTTS
When everyone settled down, they all ate the rest of their breakfast.
"Imagine what we could buy!" said Ginny.
"Malfoy won't see what's coming when he hears this!" said Ron.
"What do u mean by that?" asked Mrs. Weasley sternly.
"I just mean that all these years he's been teasing me! And now I will probably get to tease him!" said Ron with a smile.
"Hurry up and eat your breakfast. We're going out today to buy your school supplies," said Mr. Weasley.

Everyone (except for Mrs. Weasley because she was going to make lunch, for when they got home) walked into Diagon Alley with bright, big smiles on their faces. The Weasley Family didn't have to dread only wishing for supplies, and not getting them. They actually could get them! Harry on the other hand, never had to worry. His parents had left him a whole bunch of money. Which he only found out 4 years ago, in his first year with Hagrid.
"Where do you want to go first?" asked Mr.Weasley.
"What about Gringotts?" asked George.
"Okay," replied Mr. Weasley.

"We won this from the lottery," stated Mr. Weasley to the goblin.
"Very well," said the goblin.
A different goblin brought them in a mine cart to the vault.
"Vault 854. We will move the money to your vault later. You may take what you need from here now," said the goblin.
Mr. Weasley took as much as he needed and put it in a bag he brought.
"Where shall we go next?" he asked.
"We should go to Flourish and Blotts to get our books," exclaimed Ginny.
They all entered Flourish and Blotts with grins on their faces until they realized where they really were.
"Harry! Ron! Ginny!" a voice called from across the store.
As Harry turned around he saw a girl running towards them with her arms reached out for a hug. It was Hermione Granger. Harry and Ron's best friend since their first year at Hogwarts.
Hermione nearly tackled Harry and Ron as she gave them the biggest hug they could ever imagine.
"Hermione!" Harry exclaimed, "If you're not careful, you might kill me with one of your hugs before any death eaters or Vold- I mean you-know-who will ever get the chance!"
"Oh, sorry," said Hermione drooping her head. However, it popped back up to ask, "Are you here for your school supplies, more over, books?"
"Yep," replied Ron in disappointment.
"Why so glum, chum?" Herm asked with a slight grin.
"Books just aren't my thing... unlike you," trailed off Ron.
"Yeah... well, anyways. Do you have your list for what books you need?" Hermione asked, taking out her list.
"Nope. My mum has all the lists. What are they, anyways?" asked Ron, faking curiosity. Then murmuring, "Not like I want to know..."
"Huh, Ron? I don't think that you got that quite clearly across!" said Harry.
"Umm... I said... I really want to know," explained Ron with delay.
"That's good, Ron," said Hermione without know, with all that knowledge inside her, that it was a lie.
"Whatever," mumbled Harry.
"Here the list:" she read, " Each fifth year student should have these following books:
Great Wizards of the Twentieth Century
Guide to Advanced Transfiguration
Hogwarts A History ("that will be simple" added Herm although she was already speaking,)
Magical Water Plants of the Mediterranean
The Standard Book of Spells, Grade 5, by Miranda Goshawk
Unfogging the Future, by Cassandra Vablatsky
Voyages with Vampires, by Gilderoy Lockhart (Hermione sighs,)
So, did you bring enough galleons?"
"Yep. Oh! I almost forgot to tell you!" screamed Ron.
"Not so loud! And, I want to tell about Snuffles, okay?" asked Harry.
"Okay," answered Ron, "My family has won the wizarding lottery!"
"You did?" astounded Hermione.
"Yes, for real! I can't believe it myself," yelled Ron, a bit quieter.
"What about Snuffles?" Herm asked changing the subject a bit.
"'Snuffles' is going to come to Hogwarts for most of the year - for protection. He's going to be my pet dog. And don't worry, because Dumbledore's sorted everything out," Harry explained, glad that it was him, and not Ron; incase Ron yelled out 'Snuffles'' real name.
"Good. We won't have to constantly write letters back and forth. And also, we won't have to worry if or when he's going to get spotted by Muggles-" Hermione got cut off by Ron, "Or get caught by the ministry," he finished, getting one of those I-was-going-to-say-that-if-you-would-let-me-finish kind of looks from Herm.
"We all know that you are the supreme master of all knowledge. I will bow down before you," said Ron sarcastically bowing down in front of Hermione.
"Oh, shut up!" yelled Hermione.
"We'd better get those books, before you receive one of Ron's sarcastic remarks, again," said Harry.
"Yeah," agreed Herm.
"Let's all split up and find 3 copies of each book, and meet up here, okay?" suggested Hermione.
"Okay," said Harry and Ron, walking away.
"Wait!" yelled Hermione.
"What?" asked Ron as if he was very annoyed with her already.
"Harry, you find the first two books on the list," Hermione said looking towards Harry.
"Okay," replied Harry walking towards some bookshelves to his left.
"Ron, you get the next two, and I'll get the last ones," said Hermione mater-of-factly.
"Oh. And I just suppose you think that you can decide everything. Because you are little Miss. Per-" Ron got cut off by a fist in the stomach, "Ow! That hurt!"
"It was suppose to hurt, you dimwit!" she said.
"Fine," replied Ron walking to the bookshelves closest to his right.
Harry, Ron and Hermione (the trio,) all found three each of the books they were sent to get and met in their meeting place.
"Let's go pay," recommended Harry.
"Wait. I just want to go and look at a couple more of the books. I might get extra," explained Hermione, "Besides, my parents have the galleons."
"Okay. But, we have to go now. So we'll see you on the Hogwarts Express?" asked Ron.
"Okay. See ya," said Hermione running towards an updated version of Hogwarts: A History.
Harry and Ron brought their books to Mrs. Weasley.
"We found our books we need, mum," explained Ron.
"Good, honey," replied Molly.
"Here's 200 galleons. I think that it will be enough," said Mrs. Weasley giving her youngest son the wizarding money.
"Thanks, mum," thanked Ron.
Harry and Ron paid for their books (Harry paid for his own, of course,), and their smiles faded quickly away when they saw the one and only person who could do that. Malfoy.
