CHAPTER 2 - THE MEMORIES

Everyone walked into the burrow as they realized what they were waiting for. Harry knew the least of what was going to happen.

"Harry, you can sleep in Ron's room," said Mr. Weasley grabbing the Daily Prophet.

"Okay," replied Harry.

"Let's bring your bags into my room, Harry," explained Ron, "You can help, too Ginny."

She was extremely shy around Harry. She had a crush on him from the first time they met, at platform 9&3/4. She could remember it like it was yesterday...

"You walk straight at the wall. Best do it at a run, if you're nervous," explained Mrs. Weasley on that fine September morning.

"Good luck," said Ginny with a blush.

She knew that it was Harry Potter, even if she was too shy to say anything...

Ginny was the youngest of the Weasley family. She blushed when she saw Harry look at her.

"If you take Hedwig, try not to drop her, okay?" asked Harry.

"Okay," blushed Ginny.

"What's the big surprise your dad has in store for us?" asked Harry.

"I don't know. I've been trying to get it out of him for weeks! He's just not like Hagrid," said Ron.

"There must be a way........." trailed off Harry.

"Nope. Once he's got his mind settled, he's got his mind settled," said Ron.

"Fine. I guess we'll just have to wait until tomorrow, right?" asked Harry.

"Yep," answered Ron.

That night Harry had an odd dream. It was like a summary of all the years he was at Hogwarts. Like his first Quidditch game and his second and third encounter with Voldemort. Then it skipped ahead to when he had his broken arm (with no bones), the very secret diary, Tom Riddle, and his snake. It skipped ahead to his first encounter with the dementor, followed by seeing Sirius Black in the Screaming Shack. Then it was the most horrible moment of all. He saw all three tasks flash before him. And even worse, the graveyard with Lord Voldemort, Peter Pettigrew, and poor Cedric Diggory's body. Harry woke up with a start. It was finally morning. He was extremely relieved.

"Ron, I had the strangest dream last night," said Harry.

"What was it about?" asked Ron curiously.

Harry told Ron and Ginny all about it at the breakfast table, as they listened with amazement.

"What do you think it means?" worried Ginny aloud.

"I think that may be something bad is gonna happen at Hogwarts this year. It was memories of Hogwarts and only Hogwarts. We better keep our guard for Voldemort. I don't think that Voldemort went into that muggle police station for just a little scare. I think that he was telling the truth," said Harry quietly.

Ron gulped.

"Just one thing," said Ron quietly.

"What is it?" asked Harry.

"Just stop saying you-know-who's name, okay?" yelled Ron.

"I'll try," said Harry.

"Sheesh! You'd think that you of all people would be afraid the most!" said Ron.

"Sorry," said Harry.
