Dear Diary,

I HAVE to tell you about my friends before I can tell you about what fun I had these past weeks!

My best friend, Emily Potter, is practically my sister. She is always over the Manor or I am at her, Uncle Harry and Aunt Ginny's house. Emmi has a younger brother (only 13!), James. They live in Godric's Hollow, about a five minute broom ride from us. James has fiery red hair, where Emily has black hair, but they both have gorgeous emerald eyes.

My other best friend, Michael Weasley, is just as much my brother as Emmi is my sister. He, on the other hand, has no need for pretend siblings because he has three! John and Sarah are twins in second year. Samuel will start Hogwarts next year. They, Aunt Luna and Uncle Ron live next door to the Potters.

I have many other friends who I didn't know very well before attending Hogwarts. I had maybe met them a few times at reunion parties with my parents. Here's a list to make their descriptions go faster:

-Daniel Thomas-adopted son of Dean Thomas-Gryffindor

-Keiko Wood-daughter of Cho and Oliver Wood-Ravenclaw

-Bridget Finnigan-daughter of Padma and Seamus Finnigan-Ravenclaw

-Kara Finch-Fletchley- daughter of Hannah and Justin Finch-Fletchley-Hufflepuff

I also have a long list of enemies (Slytherins cough), but here's the top two:

-Daisy Parkinson-Goyle-daughter of Pansy Parkinson and Gregory Goyle

-Larry Crabbe- son of Millicent and Vincent Crabbe

Anyway, I had the best two weeks EVER! Mum surprised me by saying that we all (Emily, James, Keiko, Bridget, Mike, and Dan) would be spending the last 17 days at The Leaky Cauldron's Inn with our parents. We had the best time! Shopping, hanging out, playing Quidditch, you name it, we did it. Luckily for us older kids, our parents let us go off on our own because the younger kids had to be taken care of.

Another reason why I had so much fun was because I got to have some real quality time with Dan. *blush* He's so hot! He has the greenest eyes (James' DON'T count!) I've ever seen! Plus, he's completely brilliant; really gives me a run for my money sometimes. He even took me on a broom ride! Dan is Gryffindor's Keeper, while I'm a chaser, so he's an expert flyer. *sigh* I had the best time.

Fortunately, Mike has yet to figure out my little crush. He has a horrible temper; it must be his red hair! Mum says he gets it from Uncle Ron. Mike is extremely overprotective, so I have no need for a real older brother! Emmi, on the other hand, thinks that Dan and I would make a cute couple. Too bad he's oblivious! I personally think that Emmi has a crush on Mike and is glad that I don't like him.

Monday is the first day of fourth year! I can't wait! I've been reviewing notes from last year every so often, so that I don't feel as if I've forgotten everything. I'll write again as soon as I get to Hogwarts!
