AUTHOR'S NOTE: I will tell this only once, so listen (read) very carefully. I know you want to know what will happen to Draco and Harriet and why I changed Harry into a girl, so I'll just write the FAQ here:

1.) Why is Harry a girl? He's a girl because that's part of my plot, I can't tell you any more information, because that would spoil my fiction.

2.) Will you change Harry back? No, as I already wrote in the Transfiguration class, the spell is irreversible, so you can stop hoping for that to happen.

3.) Isn't it too fast for Draco and Harriet become friends? It is, kind of... They did know each other for five years, but in my fiction I made it that Draco was only doing that to trick his father, whom he always hated (Read Chapter Ten for reference), Harriet didn't know the real Draco, so she gave him a second chance, which he tries not to blow. As you could read in Chapter Thirteen, he even ate his Malfoy pride and asked Hermione and Ron where she was, so I don't think that they're progressing quickly.

4.) Your characters are OOC! Why? I know I made the characters a bit out of characters, but we don't know Harry at all, he always hides his emotions and we all knew that he yearned for a family. He found one in Sirius, but Sirius died and there is nothing I can do... at least yet... (hint, hint) J Harry/Harriet takes the prophecy as a very serious matter, but she doesn't want that her life would depend solely on that, she now knows what is expected of her as Dumbledore told her he won't hide anything from her anymore, and she is determined to live a life she never did, as she doesn't really know if she'll survive the final battle with Voldemort or not. Ron, I think I didn't make him OOC, well too much at least. He hates Malfoy, we know that, so he acts like that, as he feels guilty of Harriet's change, he became very protective. Hermione, we know she's a know-it-all, but she doesn't live to read or study, does she? She can relax sometimes and do a prank or two. Ginny, I think after she stopped being shy around Harry in OOTP I made her okay and IC. Snape, he has many pent up emotions as we could see in Chapter Three. Maybe you hate him, but I don't. I understand why he acts the way he does, because I am very similar to him. I hide my emotions as well. So, a) he's a Death Eater and Death Eater have their children in the school to report to them, I suppose, which leads me to the conclusion that Snape has to act the way he does not to blow up his cover as a spy for Dumbledore. b) his hatred toward Harry, Sirius, Remus, James in the books. We know from OOTP that Snape didn't have a happy childhood and he didn't have any friends, so naturally, anyone would be bitter, but some people can get through that, like Harry, and some can't, like Snape. He hates the Marauders because of the pranks played on him, as I quote James from OOTP: 'Well,' said James, appearing to deliberate the point, 'it's more the fact that he exists, if you know what I mean ...' Snape may be hexing James too, but I think it was merely the return of the treatment he didn't deserve. He hates Remus, because he was on the receiving point of a prank played by Sirius, and at the nose point of a werewolf. It's a common knowledge that he was scared and he channelled this fright in hate... What I don't know is, why he made the Wolfsbane Potion, if he hated Remus. I think, he may hate him, but he knows how it is to live shunned by everyone and he tried to do something to remedy that. If you want I can tell you even more point as to why I think Snape is a good person... like for example, he risks his life on a daily basis to tell Dumbledore what is going on in Voldemort's ranks and spying on the most evil wizard on the world for the light side. He helped Harry by giving Umbridge water instead of Veritaserum and he even ate his pride, though not all of it, to inform the Order of the Phoenix about what Harry told him in OOTP: 'He's got Padfoot!' he shouted. 'He's got Padfoot at the place where it's hidden!' Oops, I made a long essay about Snape already and I still didn't start on other characters... ;P So, Inuyasha, currently I am at episode 52 in anime, as I watched the anime on RTL2 and only the first season. At home I have episodes 3,5,107,126, 98, 124 and a clip from 117, and I have several AMVs with different scenes. I also read the Episode reviews to know what is going to happen then, and I decided to continue from episode 52 as I know what happened there already. Kagome has admitted her love for Inuyasha and Inuyasha promised to go to hell with Kikyou. Kagome, she's a really nice girl and as such I have written her character, so I don't think Inuyasha and the others from Sengoku Jidai are OOC, and I only made OOC by Harry, Draco, Snape and later on Sesshomaru.

5.) Your story goes too fast! I know, but I think it would be boring if I told this information that you already have in more than 100 chapters, hm? And I also think that I couldn't write the boring stuff, so I merely write as many ideas that are in my head as I can.

6.) Will Harriet and Draco get together? In chapter Thirteen I wrote that they're betrothed, but they started to like each other before that. I can't tell more than that, but yes, they will get together. And Inuyasha and Kagome too... J

Chapter Fifteen - Trust Your Allies

After dinner, Inuyasha, Kagome and their friends led Harriet and Draco outside in the forest where Kagome made a fire. They all sat in a circle around the fire and Kagome said,

'I believe I promised you the second part of that story, didn't I?'

Harriet and Draco nodded and stayed quiet.

'Well, when I was fifteen, I also came through the well in the Sengoku Jidai. I first saw Inuyasha, who was still pinned to a tree. The villagers of this village attacked me and brought me to the village miko, Kaede. She took one look at me and thought I was Kikyou.'

Inuyasha shifted then, as though he was uncomfortable. Kagome ignored him and continued with her story,

'When I told her I'm not Kikyou, the village was attacked by a youkai, named Mistress Centipede. I ran out and called for help. That is when Inuyasha was awoken from his fifty-year sleep. I freed him of the enchanted arrow and he killed the youkai.'

Inuyasha was really uncomfortable by now. He couldn't look at Kagome at all. She noticed this and gently said,

'He tried to kill me, thinking I was Kikyou, which I have forgiven him already and he still feels guilty.'

She punctuated the last words that were obviously meant for Inuyasha and he relaxed. She told them of the Shikon no Tama, which was found in her body and how it shattered to pieces. She told them of Naraku, the evil hanyou that spread nothing but evil around himself and of his offsprings, Kagura and Kanna. Harriet sighed at that. That was all too familiar with Voldemort. Draco noticed Harriet's uncomfortable shift at that sentence and knew immediately what she was thinking about. It was strange, really, how he could know what flew through her head with only one look. Then Kagome told them of Kikyou's return and about steeling part of her soul. Harriet risked a glance at Inuyasha who was glaring at his feet, meanwhile Kagome was telling them of Kikyou. When she finished with her story, Harriet was speechless. Now, in her mind, Naraku was even more similar to Voldemort. Draco said,

'Thank you for your trust in us, Lady Kagome. It is only fair, that we tell you ours, though we both have different ones.'

Harriet laughed at that. As Inuyasha and his friends watched her curiously, Draco sighed,

'Yeah, yeah... you just laugh at me! You were never changed in a ferret!'

Harriet laughed even more and barely managed to say something in return,

'Well, I was changed in a girl, if that counts...'

Draco had enough courage to admit defeat in this debate, which wasn't even that, at that matter! When Harriet finally calmed down enough to start her story all her companions became very still, with one exception. You have one guess. Inuyasha. All he did was, 'Keh!' and Harriet started giggling again,

'You really love to say this word, don't you Inuyasha?'

Inuyasha kehed again and Kagome said,

'That's his way of saying he doesn't know or doesn't want to answer.'

Inuyasha growled lightly at her. Kagome ignored him again. Harriet saw this as a perfect opportunity to start with her story.

'The best would be to start with my birth, as this was a special occasion.'

They all laughed, and Harriet continued,

'There was a prophecy made...'

She glanced at Draco and went quiet. She still didn't trust him completely. She gulped and said,

'Well, a prophecy that told that there would be a child born at the end of the seventh month. That's all I can tell you, I'm afraid. But I can tell you, that it basically says that I'm the only one that can kill Voldemort.'

Draco sighed. He expected as much.

'Then on the Halloween, in 1981, when I was a year and a half old, my parents went under the Fidelius Charm and had chosen a Secret-Keeper. What they didn't know was, that their Secret-Keeper was Voldemort's servant, named Peter Pettigrew and he sold them to Voldemort. Voldemort came to them on that night. First he killed J- my Dad, and then he went after my mum.'

Harriet was so absorbed in the story, as well as her memories, that were awoken by the Dementors, that she didn't notice Draco's arm that went around her shoulders.

'My mum tried to stop Voldemort from killing me and pleaded with her life. She said, Not Harry, please no, take me, kill me instead...'

She couldn't continue as she broke down in sobs. There was a silence, then Sango asked,

'What do you mean by Not Harry, you're name is Hekele!'

Draco looked up from the girl that was shaking in his arms, saying,

'Hekele's real name is Harriet, but her friend transfigured her in a girl by mistake. We both decided that here in this Era, we would be what we truly are in this place, which means I am Ryu, the ryuuku youkai, and the Lord of the Southern Lands, while Harriet is Hekele, the washi youkai, and the Lady of the Northern Lands.'

He quieted for a minute, then reluctantly said,

'Inuyasha, you probably know what that means...'

Inuyasha nodded and replied,

'It means you are to be mates if there isn't a male in the four clans that is closest to Hekele's age.'

Draco asked,

'Is there?'

Inuyasha shook his head and said,

'I am the youngest of the clans, if you don't count Kouga, who is about three years older then me.'

He growled Kouga's name and his eyebrows were twitching. Meanwhile the exchange between Draco and Inuyasha, Harriet calmed down enough to continue with her tale. But what she didn't do was to back away from Draco's embrace. He seemed to notice that and smiled slightly.

'I was sent to my aunt and uncle afterwards and I knew nothing about magical world until I turned eleven and Hagrid, our gamekeeper and professor for Care of Magical Creatures, told me of my parents' heritage and took me to Diagon Alley to buy the things I needed to get for school. I met Draco for the first time there. After that on September 1 I went to London and got aboard of the Hogwarts Express. I med Ron, Hermione and Neville there. They all are now my best friends. Then I was sorted to Gryffindor, though the Hat wanted to put me in Slytherin first, but I begged him not to.'

She then continued to tell them of her first year and the Philosopher's Stone, her second year and the Chamber of Secret and the Basilisk that was hiding within it, her third year and of the dementors and how she met her godfather and Remus, her fourth year and the Triwizard Tournament and the return of Voldemort, which sent her in a new bout of sobs as she remembered Cedric. After she calmed down again, she told them of her last year and the Order of the Phoenix. She could tell them all of that, because there wasn't any of the spies for Voldemort and meanwhile she was talking she came to the conclusion she could trust Draco, so she told them,

'Even though I met you just a few hours ago, I feel I can trust you...'

She stopped for a second and than slightly smiling said,

'Even you Inuyasha.'

Inuyasha didn't say anything and Harriet continued,

'I trust you enough to tell you the full meaning of the prophecy that was made for me and Voldemort.'

She felt Draco stiffen and quoted quietly,

'The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches, born to those who have thrice defied him, born as the seventh month dies... and the Dark Lord will mark him as his equal, but he will have the power the Dark Lord knows not... and either must die at the hand of the other, for neither can live while the other survives... the one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord will be born as the seventh month dies...'
