Harry Potter's Grandkids

Chapter 2

"Ow! You stepped on my foot!" groaned a very annoyed Amy.

"Well, you were the one the wanted me to come!" replied an equally annoyed Rebecca.

"Will the two of you shut it! This is why I didn't want you to come! We're going to get caught and it's all thanks to you!" Jenise replied, clearly more annoyed then the other two put together.

The group continued to walk around the castle aimlessly until Amy saw a crack of bright light.

"What's that over there?" she asked

"No clue," Rebecca said. "Let's just keep walking I am getting great exercise!"

"No lets see what it is!" Jenise whispered.

"You know what? I give up! Just drag me over there...I know I will never win this fight," Rebecca said, finally giving up at ever going back to the common room.

The walked toward the door and opened it to find nothing. The room was completely empty.

"Why would someone start a fire and just leave?" Amy wondered out loud.

"No clue," Jenise replied, equally puzzled. She had been sure that this would be Jeremy's room.

"Well, I guess we can leave now," Rebecca said, getting irritated again.

"Hey guys! Look at this," Amy said pointing to an extremely large book called Quidditch at Hogwarts. "I bet Grandpa is in here! Lets take a look," Amy said (she was always eager to learn new seeker moves.) As soon as Amy opened the book, she disappeared.

Rebecca screamed. "Where did she go?"

"I don't know!" Jenise answered in a very scared voice. " There's only one way to find out."

"No! Don't you dare! Lets find Dumbledore! He'll know what to do," Rebecca said, practically screaming.

"What if she gets hurt before then?" Jenise asked.

"What's wrong with you? Amy is one of the toughest people in this school! Don't you ever watch her play Quidditch?" Rebecca screamed.

"I don't think we should just leave. What if we can't find our way back?" Jenise asked, screaming at Rebecca. When Rebecca didn't say anything back Jenise opened the book and disappeared.

"Why did I come?" Rebecca groaned as she too opened the book.

Rebecca felt herself being hurled into the book and a few seconds later she found herself sitting in a room that look a lot like a library/study. She found Amy and Jenise talking to a boy.

"Is that who I think it is?" she asked.

"Yep," Jenise replied, "meet Jeremy Dumbledore."

"Nice to meet you...What is this place?" Rebecca asked, all too confused.

"This is my secret room, to get away from everyone," Jeremy replied.

"What do you do in here?" Amy asked.

"Mostly play Super Quidditch Deluxe," Jeremy answered.

"No way! I love that game!" Jenise cried

"What are you talking about? You always get mad because I beat you!" Amy exclaimed.

Jenise gave Amy a look that told her to shut her mouth. But Amy, having the big mouth she had, just kept talking and challenged Jeremy to a game.

"Your on!" he said.

"I'm gonna beat your butt!" retorted Amy, always into a new challenge.

Jeremy and Amy started to play. Amy won, but it was a close game.

"Your pretty good," Amy said.

"Thanks," Jeremy replied.

'Amy is actually being nice to someone.'Jenise thought. 'She actually isn't gloating! Oh no! She must like him...that's the only explanation!'

Her thoughts were interrupted when Rebecca started talking.

"You mean I'm not the only one that read Hogwarts the History, the Revised Edition?" Rebecca asked.

"Nope. I love that book." Jeremy replied.

'Oh great! Now Rebecca likes him. I got to break this up!' Jenise thought.

"We better go! We got a big potions exam tomorrow and have to get up early," Jenise said.

"She's right," Rebecca added. "Its almost two!"

"See you guys around." Jeremy said.

" See you," they all said.

They quietly walked back to the common room, but once they got inside they started talking about Jeremy.

"Guys do one of you like him?" Jenise asked.

"No way!" exclaimed Amy. " He's like an old friend, even though I just me him today."

"Same here!" Rebecca said. "How could you think something like that?"

"I know! We would never ever steal a boy from you," Amy said.

"Actually, now that I think about it, I kind of feel the same way about him that you guys do. He doesn't make my heart stop or anything, but do you know who does?"

"Who?" Rebecca asked.

"Good night!" Jenise said.

"Hey! Who?!". Amy exclaimed.

"Good night!" Jenise said finally.

"Fine!" Amy said giving up. "Night."

"Good night." Rebecca said giving up also.
