Harry Potter's Grandkids

Amy Potter woke up very early on the morning of September first. She was so excited that she jumped out of bed, ready for another school year. This year she was going to be a fifth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. She dressed in muggle clothes and walked down the staircase to the dining room where she saw her mom (who was the Transfiguration professor at Hogwarts) and her dad (the current Minister of Magic). She said good morning to her parents and sat down. And she happily accepted the French toast from their house elf, Dotty. While she was eating, she got an owl from her cousin Rebecca Cherie.

Dear Amy,
Remember to meet me and Jenise in front of
Platforms nine and ten so we can get a
seat together, Please don't bring any
any dung bombs on the train this year!
Can't wait to see you and tell everyone
I said Hello!

Amy laughed and wrote back to Rebecca.

Jenise Potter woke up a little later than she planned on September first. She still had to do her hair, pack all the new robes she got yesterday, and she couldn't forget to bring her Witch Weekly magazine. She also brought her pictures of her boyfriend Viktor Krum (the third), who was Ravenclaw's Seeker. Jenise was also going to be a fifth year and couldn't wait for another dance at the school. Almost all the boys wanted to date her and she had dated almost all of them. Amy wouldn't let her forget it either. While she was packing she got a letter from Amy.

Dear Jenise,
Can you believe Rebecca told me not to bring dung bombs on
the train! Anyway don't forget to bring your broom to Hogwarts.
We need you to have it since you're our Keeper! C~ya soon!

Jenise smiled and was glad she got the letter or else she probably would have forgotten her broom. She walked downstairs after she was done packing and ate breakfast excited for the new year.

Rebecca Cherie woke up from a great dream. She dreamed that the Hogwarts staff made her Head Girl, even though she was only a fifth year. But she knew it was a just a dream and got up and started packing all of her books. She usually brought a trunk full of books and another trunk full of clothes and other things she would need during the year. She knew that she was going to have a very eventful year since she had just gotten named a prefect! After she finished packing she dragged her trunks downstairs and sat down at the table with her mom and dad (who were both writers), unlike Amy she didn't have a house elf (since she believed they were treated like slaves).

Waiting for Jenise and Rebecca between Platforms nine and ten, Amy's dad (her mom was a professor so she'd see her at school) gave her his usual speech about trying not to get into so much trouble by playing pranks and such. Amy just rolled her eyes and said, "I love you daddy! I'll try not to get into so much trouble," and gave him a kiss.

Rebecca appeared a few minutes later and apologized for being late and asked Uncle Ron (Amy's dad and Harry's son) how he was politely.

Amy asked Rebecca, "Since you've been named prefect, do you have to be so polite all of a sudden? Please! He's your uncle you could loosen up a bit!"

Rebecca just laughed and was about to answer Amy when Jenise came. She rushed in and checked her watch and said, "I am officially fashionably late!"

Amy rolled her eyes again and said, "No you're not; you are a minute early."

"What? No I'm not!" exclaimed Jenise.

"I was just kidding!" Amy said while rolling her eyes "Gees."

"Can we go on the platform now?" asked Rebecca.

"But of course," exclaimed Amy. "After you I insist!"

"Shut up!" exclaimed Rebecca and she walked through the barrier. Jenise went next and then Amy.

As soon as they got on the platform Rebecca ran to the Prefects' compartment, and Amy and Jenise went to find their own compartment. About half an hour later Fred and George came. The thing you have to know about Fred and George is...Fred's dad is George and George's dad is Fred. Then it goes back to the original Fred and George. (Things can get confusing at their family reunions) The four of them goofed off until they got to Hogwarts.

When they reached the Great Hall they went through the sorting and then of course ate the feast. During the feast Jenise noticed that there was a new boy around their age sitting next to Dumbledore (Dumbledore's grandson was the new headmaster of Hogwarts) "Have you ever seen him before?" Jenise asked and pointed to him.

"Nope," Amy replied.

"I wonder who he is?" Jenise said to herself.

"Why don't you go up there and ask him who he is?" Amy asked.

"Yeah go for it!" cried Fred...or maybe it was George. Jenise didn't really pay attention to whoever said it.

"Ok I will!" said Jenise with confidence. She waltzed right up to the head table.

"I can't believe she is really doing it!" exclaimed Amy.

"Excuse me, Professor Dumbledore, but...." Jenise said, but she couldn't finish all of a sudden she just got all red in the face and said, "Never mind." She then walked away all red.

"Wow I really thought you might actually do it!" said Amy with a mouth full of mashed potatoes.

"I don't know what's wrong with me. I can usually talk to any boy," replied Jenise still stunned she got embarrassed over something so stupid. After the feast Jenise saw Hagrid (half-giants live longer then normal wizards do) and ran up to him and asked "Hagrid, who was that boy sitting next to Dumbledore?"

"O that was Jeremy Dumbledore 'is son." replied Hagrid with a grin on his face.
"What!" said Jenise "Why haven't we seen him before? Doesn't he go to school here? He doesn't look that much older then us--"

"The thin' yer gotta know 'bout Jeremy is he's a genius. He graduated from here when he was thirteen!" said Hagrid almost laughing at the shocked look on Jenise's face.

"Jenise, hurry up or we will be locked out of the common room!" exclaimed Amy from the stairs.

"Alright," Jenise screamed back at Amy. "Bye Hagrid," she said to Hagrid. As soon as all the Gryffindors got into the common room, they all walked up to their dormitories to go to sleep, all of them knew tomorrow they would have to get up early the next day.

BRANG BRANG BRANG! Screamed Amy's alarm clock. Then it came to a nice Ding Ding Ding! Jenise, all grumpy from being woken up by a very annoying alarm clock, screamed at Amy for bringing her annoying alarm clock this year, and walked to her closet. "Which robe should I wear? They all came from France, since my dad is Editor of the Daily Prophet we get tons of the latest fashions," Jenise said.

"Hello! Dumbledore will go mad if he sees you wearing any of those! They aren't school robes!" answered Amy while rubbing sleep from her eye.

"No he won't, Dumbledore loves me!" Jenise exclaimed.

"Since when? I thought he couldn't stand you!" Amy said.

"Are you kidding me? Me and Dumbledore are like this!" Jenise crossed two of her fingers to show how close Dumbledore and her were.

Amy snorted and said, "Yeah right in your dreams! Just put on a school robe and lets get to the great hall I am starved!"

"OK," Jenise said in a disappointed voice as she put on her school robes.

Amy and Jenise went into the common room and got Rebecca and walked down to the Great Hall together. As they walked past the head table Jenise saw Jeremy and winked at him. Maybe that will get his attention Jenise thought. Jeremy saw her and turned all red, but just continued to eat. "Real bold, Jenise. Maybe next time you can move up to waving," Amy said as Jenise sat down.

"Shut-up!" Jenise replied, and also turned all red and turned around to get one last look at Jeremy.

After everyone was asleep that night, Jenise got out of bed and got dressed

"What are you doing?" a voice that sounded like Rebecca asked.

"Nothing go back to sleep!" Jenise said

"What's going on?" a very sleepy Amy asked.

"Does everyone have to know what I'm doing all the time?" Jenise wondered.

"I'm going to get a glass of water," she said.

"With the Invisibility cloak?" Rebecca asked smartly.

"Ooooohhhh busted! It was my week to use the Invisibility cloak and the map!" exclaimed Amy all of a sudden very awake.

"Fine," Jenise groaned, "you guys can come, but if you get me caught I'm gonna kill both of you!"

"Gees! Don't you trust us anymore?" Amy asked.

"I don't know Jenise. I'm a prefect now I don't think this is a good idea," Rebecca said thoughtfully.

"Awe come on, you big wimp, you did this all the time last year," Amy said.

"True, but I was immature and stupid back then," Rebecca said.

"It was last year," Amy replied coolly.

"There is no way in a million years you are going to make me go!" Rebecca said firmly.

"I can't believe you are making me do this!" Rebecca exclaimed in front of the portrait of the fat lady. "If Dumbledore finds out I'm done for!"

"Shut up or else we will get caught!" Jenise said.

"What are we doing anyway?" Amy asked in a confused voice.

"We are looking for Jeremy's room," Jenise said like it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"Are you crazy!" Rebecca exclaimed. "He is the Headmaster's son!"

Jenise replied, "So what are you guys waiting for? Let's go!"
