Ghost

My version of Hogwarts as a musical/play. Hermione overhears Ron and Harry talking about her, and she gets so angry that she joins Draco and his fellow Slytherins. She doesn't mind being called Mudblood as long as she gets to hex or curse Ron (and Harry with help from Draco) for life. Before Hermione fully transforms into a dark arts Mudblood, will Ron and Harry free her from the clutches of the Slytherins?

Chapter Four - When You See a Guy

Hermione walked in the halls the next morning. Thankfully, September first was on a Friday. She had no classes for two whole days! She was on her way to the Great Hall, and to see her new friends. After the argument she had with Ron last night, she really didn't feel like sitting with the other Gryffindors.

Just as she suspected, Draco and the others were waiting for her. She passed the Hufflepuffs, passed the Ravenclaws with no trouble, but walked straight passed the Gryffindor table, and right to the Slytherin table. She walked with her head held up high as she approached Draco.

Draco looked up and smiled at her. He scooted over, and Hermione sat next to him.

Pansy smiled a very frightening smile at her. "So, Miss Mudblood Granger? Big Head Girl going against her house now, is she?"

Draco gave her a disapproving look, but Hermione nodded. "I don't Draco, don't worry about it. How bad is mudblood?" she asked. The Slytherins all looked at her like she was crazy.

How bad is mudblood? It's the lowest thing you could be called in the wizarding world!

Millicent Bulstrode nudged Blaise. "Look over there," he she said laughing. "Thomas is carrying a huge pile of boxes. Wonder why?"

Hermione laughed at that. Millicent glared at her. "What're you laughing at, Mudblood?"

Hermione shook her head. "Wondering why Dean Thomas is carrying that huge load of boxes?" She smiled towards the Gryffindor table. She sighed, and leaned forward.

Pansy sighed. "Every single day!"

She looked at everyone who was listening. "When you see a guy reach for stars in the sky, you can bet that he's doing it for some doll!"

Millicent giggled.

"It's true!" Hermione exclaimed.

Draco laughed. He stood up. "When you spot a John, waiting out in the rain, chances are he's insane, as only a John can be for a Jane."

They all laughed. Draco sat down, and Millicent and Pansy stood up. "When you meet a gent paying all kinds of rent, for a flat! That could flatten the Taj Mahal!"

They sat down and the whole Slytherin table started singing. "Call it sad, call it funny! But it's better than even money! That the guy's only doing it for some doll!"

"That's all!" Hermione added at the end. The table erupted in roars of laughter.

Millicent, once she caught her breath, smiled at Hermione. "You're okay mudblood, you're all right."

Hermione smiled. Being called mudblood didn't bother anymore. She blushed as everyone raised a glass in her honor, shouting "Mudblood!"

Hermione raised her goblet and drank. It was then she noticed Blaise staring at her. She looked back at him, and was suspicious when he blushed and looked away.

"So, are we going to research for the perfect hex or curse?" Draco said, nudging her.

Hermione smiled, still looking at Blaise, and she nodded. "Today would be a good day to look for the perfect hex."

A flash of red hair caught her eye at the Great Hall entrance, and she looked at him. She glared at him as he glared at her, walking to the Gryffindor table. She sat up tall and lifted her chin at him.
