Two years have gone by since the end of Harry's final year. Voldemort is dead. Harry has withdrawn from the wizarding society after defeating Voldemort and graduation from Hogwarts, but still keeps in contact with Ron and Hermione through owl post and occasional visits. Ron is a Chudley Cannon. Hermione has been working at Hogwarts since their final year with all the professors. Sirius has been acquitted of all charges against him and is the Transfiguration professor. Professor McGonagall is the new Headmistress replacing an ill Headmaster Dumbledore and Flitwick is the Deputy Headmaster. Lupin is reinstated as the DADA Professor after Moody's retirement.
