Thursday

"Tonight, I think we should play spin the bottle," Colin suggested.

"This is coming form the guy who fancies Snape," Harry reminded everyone. Ginny gave him a hard elbow in the ribs and Harry spent the next minute trying to breathe.

"I think it's a great game," Ginny agreed. "But, one rule, no pecks, we want real juicy kisses."

Ron glared at Harry, who was grinning at Ginny. "Fine."

Hermione conjured up a bottle for them to play with. They sat boy-girl-boy-girl in a circle.

Dean started since he didn't get asked truth or dare the past meeting. The bottle spun and past Parvati, which made Dean a bit disappointed, but then stopped on Ginny. Ginny merely smiled as Dean kissed her sweetly on the lips.

Ron and Harry both glared at Dean. Ginny smiled, Harry was jealous and Ron was overprotective. It was enough to make a girl squeal with laughter.

It was then Parvati's turn; the bottle slowly came to a halt in front of Ron. His ears turned an abnormal shade of red as she leaned down next to him and kissed him.

Ron seemed to notice Hermione's jealous frown, and eagerly pulled Parvati closer. Parvati panicked, not expecting to be pulled closer. She loved Dean, not Ron. She pulled away and glared at Ron; she thought about smacking him, but decided not to be too cruel.

"What, Jealous, Hermione?" Ron asked, smirking.

"No," Hermione denied it as Colin spun the bottle and it stopped in front of her.

Hermione frowned. Colin looked just as disappointed. He slowly scooted over near Hermione and kissed her. "Jealous, Ron?" Hermione mocked him.

"Why would I be jealous of you kissing a gay guy?" Ron asked. Colin wasn't too happy about this comment and proceeded to join in the fight. Somewhere throughout the fight, Ginny spun the bottle. I t slowed down just after Dean and sojourned in front of Parvati.

"I was waiting for something like this to happen!" Seamus yelled, clapping his hands excitedly.

Ginny casually crossed the circle and gave Parvati a long kiss, just to get a rise out of Seamus.

Harry looked as though he was going to be sick. Ginny sat down next to him and gave him a small peck on the cheek.

"She gets a kiss like that and all I get is a lousy peck!?" Harry yelled, shocked.

"You got kisses like that on Friday!" Ginny argued.

"She kissed you like that!?" Ron roared, just realizing that they were arguing too.

"Ron, leave him alone!" Ginny yelled and then turned to Harry. "If you'd just ask me out them you'd get kisses like that all the time."

Harry tried to ignore her comment and spun the bottle. It stopped, pointing to Lavender.

Harry kissed her just as long as Ginny had kissed Parvati, trying to get revenge on her.

Meanwhile, Seamus was yelling, "You lay one hand on her, Potter, and Ill bloody kill you!"

"Seamus, I don't like Lavender. No offense," He added, turning to Lavender.

Hermione nervously took the bottle and spun it very lightly. It came to a halt in front of Harry.

Hermione felt very nervous. She had fancied Harry several years ago, but had never shown any interest in him to avoid confrontation. She inched closer and closer to Harry until their lips finally met. Much to her surprise, Hermione felt nothing. She didn't get butterflies like she did with Ron, or feel like she was going to throw up, like she did with Viktor. There was nothing.

Ron glowered at Hermione and spun the bottle as hard as he possibly could. The bottle took a good five minutes to stop, but when it did, it stopped in front of Hermione.

"Yes!" Ron exclaimed.

Hermione looked a bit surprised, but then smiled.

Ron kissed Hermione and she warmly opened to the kiss. They continued kissing as Lavender took her turn and kissed Seamus.

Ginny then stood up. "Well, I think everyone has taken their turn, correct?" The Gryffindors nodded between kisses with their lovers. "Then, I think it's time to get to bed."

Some of the couples gave naughty grins.

"Your own beds!" Hermione added. The Gryffindors groaned with disappointment.

"C'mon, Hermione," Ron said with a wink.

"Ron, we're supposed to be setting an example. We're prefects!" Hermione scolded him "And I'm Head Girl!"

Ron rolled his eyes and pulled her into a snog. Hermione motioned for the Gryffindors to get to bed.

"Shall I walk you to your room?" Ginny asked Harry.

"Isn't that my job?"

"Yes, but do you really want to try to get into the girls' dormitory?"

"Good point."

Ginny and Harry headed up the stairs to the boys' dormitory, hand in hand. When they reached the top, they turned to face each other.

"Er, Ginny, will you go to the Graduation Ball with me?" Harry asked.

"Isn't that for seventh years?"

"Well, we're allowed to invite people from the younger years to go with us," he explained. "Like the Yule Ball."

"Oh."

"So, will you go?"

"Of course!" Ginny squealed, pulling Harry into a full mouth snog.

Whistles came from the Gryffindor boys who had just cracked the door open to find out what was going on.

Harry pulled away and said, "Good night."

Ginny pecked him on the cheek and happily walked down the stairs to go to her dormitory.

"Hermione!" Ginny screamed as she entered the dormitory. "Harry asked me to the Graduation Ball!"

"I knew he'd catch the hints you dropped. Like the 'If you'd ask me out then maybe you'd get kissed like that every night'. He may be a little slow sometimes, but he isn't stupid," Hermione told her.

"Hermione, what would I do without you?"

"Nothing," Hermione answered, smiling.

In the boys' dormitory, things were a bit more hostile. "You asked her to the Graduation Ball!?" Ron bellowed.

"Yes, I did. Get over it, Ron. You can't control her life!" Harry argued.

"She's just a baby though!"

"She's sixteen, Ron. Let it go," Harry said calmly.

"When did she turn sixteen?"

"Le jeu ne vaut pas la chandelle."

(The Game is not worth the candle.)
