Meeting 1

"Ahem," Ginny coughed to get the Gryffindors' attention. "Thank you for joining us at the first meeting of Midnight Madness. Since you are all here, I assume you know what this club is about."

The Gryffindors nodded impatiently.

"Okay then. Any ideas on what we should play, tonight?" Ginny asked. Several hands shot up in the air straight away.

Ginny glanced around the room and called on Parvati.

"How about Truth or Dare?" Parvati suggested.

There was a loud commotion from the Gryffindors.

"Who wants to play Truth or Dare?" Ginny yelled over the talking from the Gryffindors.

A loud chorus of 'I do' came from the Gryffindors.

"It's settled then," Ginny stated. "I guess we'll play until about 1:30?"

The Gryffindors nodded in agreement.

"Okay, we need a few ground rules," Ginny said. The Gryffindors groaned in disappointment.

"Everything that happens tonight stays inside this room. No one else will know, so no one's secrets will be all over the school. To make sure of this, you all will sign this piece of parchment."

Ginny glanced at Hermione. She had learned this charm from Hermione, who used it when they founded the D.A.

She passed the parchment around the circle and everyone signed the parchment and handed it back to Ginny.

"Next, nothing illegal. I know, I don't want to go to Azkaban, and I'm sure you guys don't either," Ginny told them.

Many of the Gryffindors laughed and nodded.

"Last, nothing that could be dangerous," Ginny said. The Gryffindors groaned, quite let down. "When I say dangerous, I mean anything that could hurt someone physically."

Everyone nodded impatiently.

"Can we play now?" Lavender whined.

"Sure, who's starting?" Ginny asked.

"Ginny, truth or dare?" Ron asked.

Ginny did not trust her brother, so answered, "Truth."

Ron thought for a moment, and then an evil grin came across his face. "Who do you fancy?"

Ginny's face turned a deep scarlet and she found herself sweating. Hermione, who was sitting next to her, gave her hand a small squeeze.

"Harry," she muttered quietly.

"What was that?" Ron asked, wanting the entire common room to hear.

"Harry," Ginny said as calmly as she could.

Harry's face seemed to lose its color as he stared at Ginny.

"Hermione, truth or dare?" Ginny asked, trying to avoid eye contact with Harry.

"Truth," Hermione answered, not trusting a dare from Ginny after what she just admitted.

"What have you done with a boy and who was it?" Ginny asked.

"Victor Krum. Snogged," Hermione said matter-of-factly. "Er... Seamus, Truth or Dare?"

"Dare."

"Ooh..." the Gryffindors chorused.

"I dare you to ask Professor McGonagall to accompany you at the next Hogsmeade visit."

The common room burst into laughter.

"Now?" Seamus yelled over the laughter.

"No, tomorrow at breakfast, in front of everyone."

"Fine, fine, I'll do it," Seamus said. "Hmm, Lavender, truth or dare?"

"Truth."

"Describe your most sexually active dream," Seamus said, grinning.

"Well, Draco seduced me and-"

"DRACO MALFOY!?" Seamus yelled furiously.

"I sorry, Seamus," Lavender apologized to her boyfriend. "Parvati, truth or dare?"

"Dare," Parvati answered, hoping her best friend would give her an easy dare.

" I dare you to kiss Dean on the lips."

Parvati's jaw dropped. She was socked. Lavender knew she fancied Dean, yet she was going to make her kiss him in front of everyone.

She crossed the room, sat next to Dean and kissed him. Their kiss lasted longer than most people had expected. When they finally finished, Parvati said, "Thanks, Lavender."

"Hermione, truth or dare?" Parvati asked.

"D-dare," Hermione answered nervously.

"I dare you to take off your top and keep it off for the rest of the game."

Whistles came from the boys in the room. Ron kept his eyes on her, not wanting to miss anything.

Hermione calmly unbuttoned her blouse, to reveal a dark purple bra. Everyone looked at her crazily for wearing a purple bra with a white blouse.

"All of my white ones were in the wash," Hermione told them.

"Have you always been that skinny?" Harry asked.

Hermione felt a bit guilty, sitting in front of all the boys, some of who had girlfriends. "Yes," she answered. "Ron, truth or dare?"

"Truth," Ron answered, staring at her bra.

"Ron, talk to my face, not to my chest," Hermione advised him.

Ron immediately looked up at her face. "Were you jealous when Victor Krum and I were dating?" she asked.

Ron opened his mouth to answer, but nothing came out. He knew that this would be embarrassing, no matter what he said.

"Yes," Ron said as quietly as possible.

"Ooh..." the Gryffindors called in unison.

Hermione sat quietly with a pleased look on her face.

"Okay, Harry, truth or dare?" Ron asked, now avoiding eye contact with Hermione.

"Truth," Harry answered.

"Oh, the brave Gryffindor is afraid of a little dare?" Ron teased him. "Well, then, do you fancy Ginny?"

Harry's face lost all color. It was true, he really did fancy her, but he couldn't admit it. People would taunt him until the day he died. Then again, if he said, 'no,' then Ginny would think he didn't like her and she'd be heartbroken.

"I think that's between Ginny and I," Harry answered casually, glancing at Ginny who looked a bit uneasy.

"In that case, I think you and Ginny need to talk about it. Go in that closet with her, alone," Ron instructed, pointing to the closet on the far side of the common room.

"Fine," Harry said, grabbing Ginny by the hand and pulling her into the closet with him.

Harry locked the door behind them and placed the Imperturbable Charm on the room; he knew the others would be trying to listen in on their conversation.

He and Ginny sat down on the floor, facing each other. "Ginny, the truth is, I do fancy you," Harry told her. "And, I reckon Ron will kill me for this, but..."

Harry then leaned down and kissed her on the lips.

"Who says he has to know?" Ginny asked and then pulled into a snog.

After about five minutes, they emerged from the closet, hand in hand.

"Nice Imperturbable Charm, Harry," Hermione commented.

Harry nodded and said, "Neville's turn, truth or dare?"

"T-truth," Neville chose, looking as though he were going to faint.

"Who was the subject of your last dream?" Harry asked curiously.

"L-luna-"

"Loony Luna Lovegood?" Ron yelled in shock.

"Neville, you dog!" Harry yelled excitedly.

"Aww... Neville, you really should tell her," Hermione told him sympathetically.

"Er... Colin, truth or dare?" Neville asked, ignoring the comments his fellow Gryffindors made.

"Truth," Colin answered with enthusiasm.

"What teacher do you fancy?" Neville asked.

Colin glanced around the room nervously and mumbled something.

"What was that?" Ron asked obnoxiously.

"Snape," Colin said quietly.

The laughter in the room was louder than ever.

"Okay, Okay!" Ginny yelled to get their attention. "Our time is up. I hope you all will come back next week, same time, same place."

"And," Ron added. "Everyone remember to get up bright and early and get down to the Great Hall, where we can see Seamus make a fool out of himself."

Seamus looked as though he wanted to die. Everyone laughed as they headed up to their dormitory.

All of the girls gathered around Ginny as they headed up the stairs, asking what had happened in the closet.

"He told me he fancied me, and we had a nice snog," Ginny answered happily.

Meanwhile, in the boys' dormitory, Ron was interrogating Harry.

"What did you say to Ginny?"

"I told her I fancied her."

"I knew it!"

"Ron, there's something else," Harry said nervously.

"What?" Ron asked worriedly.

"We, er, snogged a bit." Harry confessed.

"YOU DID WHAT?!" Ron yelled so the entire Gryffindor house could hear.

"Ron just found out about Harry and I," Ginny told Hermione, referring to the yelling.

"Who knew he was that overprotective," Hermione said sarcastically.
