To my lovely betas Fenno and Animagus,

1.Lily's Detention

Another beautiful Saturday morning, and Harry Potter was, once more, doing detention with Professor Snape. Harry was in charge of organizing the old files from Mr. Filch's office. They were records about the wrongdoers of Hogwarts and their punishments. Every time he read his father's name, or his father's old friends, he felt a jolt in his stomach. Sometimes he even wanted to laugh about the things they had done. "They were not easy at all," thought Harry. But, without a warning, Harry read something that was not supposed to be there. As far as he can remember, no one ever told him that:

"Lily Evans, Selene Vance, Athena Mills, and Alice Stwartt: Attacked students, caused a flood of Hogwart's Principal Hall and at Mr. Filch´s office, with an unknown enchantment. Punishment: 2 weeks of detention with the Headmaster."

What Harry didn't know was that in a morning like that, some years ago, his mom and friends had the perfect plan...well, almost perfect.

Lily Evans woke up at six A.M. "It's Saturday morning," thought Lily. She opened just one eye to see who on Earth was whispering to her before sunrise.

"Come on, Lily! It's time...ssshhhh!" whispered Selene Vance, looking extremely excited. She was very tall girl with bright blue eyes and long, black hair.

"Selene, you see, there is no sun in the sky. This means that human beings should be in bed, not going anywhere with you right now," said Lily, yawning and closing the open eye, really hoping to sleep again.

"Girl, we do not have time for that! Hurry, now!" And with a wand movement, made Lily sit up in bed.

"Selene," started Lily, with a little anger, as she walked through the common room. "I cannot believe that you haven't changed your mind about that! Honestly, I think we'll be..."

"Shhhhsh, Lily!" said Selene with a giggle. "Let's go! Athena and Alice must be in the hall now...wait!" said Selene, checking both sides of the corridor, before leaving Gryffindor' common room. "This time will be great! Ahh, yeah...It will be."

Alice Stwartt and Athena Mills were already waiting in the Great Hall. They were both students from Ravenclaw. Athena was thin and had flowing blond hair. Her eyes seemed to catch everything behind her glasses. Alice was a little chubby, with a very kind and friendly expression.

"Have you got it?" questioned Selene.

"Yep, I got it!" said Athena, trying to hold her excitement. "What about you? Have you?"

"It's here!" giggled Selene, showing a small package to the girls, containing what seemed to be hair.

"How did you get that?" asked Lily, very surprised and now equally excited as the others.

"Well, I'm not a Lily Evans, you know...."

"Ah, shut up, Eurydice!" interrupted Lily, laughing.

" Using my middle name was low of you, Lil, " said Selene with a blink. She gave a grin. "Hey!You are really starting to look like me!"

Lily just chuckled.

Selene went on,"Anyway, Slughorn also likes me. I told him I was doing a research about properties of the Memorie Potion, and that I only needed a hair of demiguise to finish my experiment. I didn't lie to him, just asked more than I really needed."

"Memorie potion? But this is really advanced! Where did you learn that?" asked Alice.

"Hmm well, you know how my life was before coming to Hogwarts. I could only stay with my aunt at home, so studying kept me busy. Anyway, potions was never my favorite subject," said Selene, opening a door behind a picture under the stairs.

No student knew about the existence of that room. It had a breath taking view of the lake and a mirror that showed Hogwarts Great Hall. Many dusty objects were placed there; it looked like the working place of somebody, who had left many years ago. Books and notes were all over the place; as if the person who used to work there did not have time to clean it before leaving. Athena discovered the room, and she usually went there to experiment new spells and potions that she had created. But frequently the girls went there to chat and to practice for the exams.

"Girls, are you sure you want to do that? Don't you think this is a little bit childish?" asked Alice, faking an air of preoccupation.

"Ahh, yeah, you are totally right, Alice. This is extremely childish," said Athena. "I think we should improve that...Do something really great to Hogwarts. Lene, I think we should share our knowledge with the world, like we did when we created the multicolor charm and discovered its useful properties on cat's skin and students' hair."

"You both did that?" questioned Alice and Lily together, stunned.

"With a little help from Peeves, he enjoyed to spread it all over Hogwarts," said Athena simply.

"Oh, yeah...Good charm, it was..." said Selene, remembering all the facts with satisfaction. "The more you try to get it out, the stronger and brighter it gets. I've never seen Filch so mad..." laughed Selene. "Rubbing Mrs. Norris nose, as it turned to bright pink, to mach with the bright green color of her skin."

"And Filch thought it was James and Sirius, messing around again," giggled Lily.

"Poor Filch! God bless him!" said Athena with a weird smile.

"I think that was the most interesting part...seeing the Marauder's faces doing detention. Especially Sirius, for being so annoying," roared Selene.

"When will you stop fighting with Sirius?" chuckled Lily.

"When you become Mrs. Potter? Considering that, hmmm?" She made a face of high concentration. "I would say never!" After saying that with a huge smile, Selene went to the cabinet and removed and old cauldron from its inside, placing it into the fire as the others come closer.

"Let's see..." said Alice. "Ahh, Athena I will add a little bit more of the Bundimun solution, so it can get more consistent and will clean better. What do you say Lily?"

"I agree. Hey, Athena, with this you can finish the heliopats off. They will stop burning your flower's because they will have no flame at all."

"Okay, just a little more, otherwise, it won't wet too much, and we want it to wet." Athena added a little more of the bundimun solution to the potion. The cauldron started to glow, and suddenly an iridescent smoke came out from it, rising slowly to the ceiling.

"That's just wonderful!" exclaimed Lily, excited. "And imagine that it all started with a simple Aguamenti spell. Now, we have this kind of jelly water, very shiny blue jelly water."

"But it's not alive yet," stated Alice. "We must also give a name to it and I don't like jelly-water very much. Lene, your turn! Show us what you got!"

Selene carefully removed a very small sample from the cauldron, "Hmm, very good! Now, Vingardium Leviosa!" The sample started to go up, and Selene let it fall on the floor. It made a huge splash and a puddle showed up, but the jellylike water remained intact.

"Ahh, well, this was not what I had in mind, but good job Lene! Brilliant!" said Alice, and the others started to laugh.

"Sorry, I was just testing the power of this little beauty here! It's just amazing what this will do," said Selene. "Okay, I hope all to be fine," she said, sounding a little nervous. "I've created this spell, and I couldn't test it before. So, you must repeat what I say and do, okay? Ready? I hope it works."

Each one of the girls got a bowl from the cabinet and put a little bit of the jellylike water inside it. They were waiting for Selene to start the enchantment.

"A little bit of salamander's tail tip, so you will be clever, wit;
A little bit of Fire Slugs, so you will fight for us;
And for you to obey only my heart, without thinking twice, I'll add one hair of the Demiguise;
and now, to finish, just a little blow and you will become the twin of my soul."

Each jelly-like water emitted a different glow and, to the girl's surprise, perfume. They also were different in shape and behavior. The sea dragon had a silver glittering color and it was jumping madly inside the bowl. As it jumped, it released water that smelled like fresh sandalwood. A sphinx was moving gently from one side to another, glowing blue and smelling like cedar. The dolphin swam around the bowl, as if it was checking the place with interest, and emitted a lavender smell. A last, the swan was shining with a golden color, but it was still, waiting for its orders, and releasing a jasmine perfume.

"Wonderful!" said Selene, totally excited. "Let's make them grow and give them orders!"

"Okay," said Alice. "We want you to wash some people away from their bad thoughts."

"And, we definitely want some people to get washed!!" said Selene, looking through the window. The garden was already full of students.

A few minutes later, after the orders were given, those huge water animals went through Hogwarts, doing exactly as they were told. They were jumping over each other, and by doing that, they just made a river flow from Hogwart's Hall. Many students ran to the garden, trying to escape from those good smelling beasts, as three of them reached the front doors and stopped, apparently looking for some people. Everything happened very fast after that.

"What the hell is that?" yelled James, pointing at the entrance of the castle, to Remus and Sirius.

"I don't know, but it seems to be trouble," said Remus. "And a big one."

"Damn it! Why didn't we create one of those, James?" asked Sirius. He was really enjoying the view of the chaos that those animals were causing.

Inside the castle, the sea dragon was getting to Filch's office. It remembered the words from Selene: "I want you to wash Argus Filch and his office." He got into the office and opened his mouth; an enormous nozzle of water invaded the place and carried away all the things he kept inside it. Many files were damaged and, as the water flowed, they were carried to the corridor. A picture of Mr. Filch and Ms. Pince together on their vacations to the beach also went down the corridor. Peter Pettigrew was looking for his friends when he saw that.
"Ms. Pince in a bathing suit?
Arrrggg!" But he stared at something more frightening than Ms. Pince in a bathing suit, and decided it was better run and hide. He could show that later to the others.

But, Argus Filch wasn't there at his office. The sea dragon was still looking for Filch when, just in the entrance hall, it saw him glaring to the mess. Like a dragon it was, it spat, not fire, but water all over Filch, making him go insane.

"POTTER! BLACK! YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS!" Filch went running, as fast as he could to the Headmaster's office, to tell Dumbledore exactly what was going on.

Outside, the dolphin saw Amycus and Alecto with their weird friends. "I want you to wash the Carrows," said Athena. Her voice sounding like she was dreaming when she gave it the orders, "They are very evil and they need to learn a lesson and have their mind washed." The dolphin chased the Carrows and was already the size of a whale when it reached them, caused the Carrows had tried to used the "Evanesco" spell, but they didn't know it would make the dolphin even stronger. As it got near them, it gave a fantastic jump and fell with a splash, which made a wave that carried Alecto and Amycus to the border of the Forest.

The sphinx, though, found very quickly the boy she was looking for. Crouch Jr. was disturbing the giant squid near the lake, and didn't even see what happened to him. "I want you to wash Crouch," said Alice. She added fast, "Blimey!! Crouch Jr.," giggled her. "Because he is up to no good." The sphinx attacked him from behind and the amount of water came over Barty Crouch like a waterfall, pushing him inside the lake. The giant squid just pushed him back, in a very bad mood, because she really wanted him to drown, but her duty did not allowed her that. She had to keep students safe, so, she threw him on the lake side, full of seaweed in his mouth and ears.

Mary Parkinson was the target of the swan. "This evil must be washed away! Mary Parkinson needs a lesson," said Lily. She was with Claudia Bulstrode, hexing poor kids of the first year, when the swan saw her, and got furious to see that. With one wing he grabbed the kids and pushed them away, as with the other hit Mary and Claudia. The power of this attack was so strong, that made the girls stop inside the plantation of pumpkins. Mary got stuck inside of a giant pumpkin and needed help to get out. Many days later she still had pumpkin inside her ears.

Sirius and James were laughing so much that they had tears in their eyes.

"This is so great! It's better than anything we have done so far," said James.

"Yeah, it is," said Sirius. "But to be perfect they must catch Snivellus. Ahh, my dream will come true" He kept laughing. "We need to meet those guys."

"This seems to me a cleaning process, I don't think it was a guy who did that," said Remus in a low voice. James and Sirius stared to each other and when they were opening their mouths to talk to Remus, they saw that Snape was coming back from the greenhouse. The sea dragon saw him coming.

"And also, I want you to wash Severus Snape," said Selene. "I want you to give attention particularly to his hair." And with an evil smile added, "I want you to make sure that his underwear get washed properly." The sea dragon held Snape with his tail and opened its mouth widely. Snape received so much water on his head that was impossible to see his face after the attack. He had hair all over it. And then, as an answer to the Sirius's desire, the sea dragon turned Snape up-side-down, holding him by the ankles, in a way that his underwear showed up. It threw a huge nozzle on Snape´s butt to make sure he had washed his underwear properly.

"Awsome!" screamed Sirius. "Hey, Snivellus," he called, but something unexpected happened. The sea dragon apparently listened to Sirius voice, and started to approach fast.

"Brilliant, Sirius, Brilliant!" said Remus looking angry. "You always have to talk, Padfoot!" yelled James. Unlike Remus, though, he seemed to be happy. The three stood on their feet to run, but before it could reach Sirius, it saw the something and stopped.

In this moment, Albus Dumbledore, Filch, and the professors McGonagall, Flitwick and Slughorn reached the entrance.

"I told you!" said Filch. "I told you they were the ones to blame, those ..."

"No, Argus, not today," interrupted Dumbledore, looking at all the mess the water caused. Then he screamed to the animals, "Enough! Come here, you all!" Amazingly the animals answered to the call of the director, and so did the students.

"How is this possible?" asked Professor McGonagall, stunned.

"My dear Minerva, don't these animals look familiar to you? Or do you think that Mr. Potter and Mr. Black would be interested on making Hogwarts smells better?" said Dumbledore smiling. "Ahh! Amazing, amazing! To be honest, it's one of the best combinations of magic I've ever seen in my life. Look at them! Now, I believe that the swan belongs to Ms. Evans, the sea dragon to Ms. Vance, of course, the sphinx, to Ms. Stwartt, and at last, but not less brilliant, this adorable dolphin belongs to Ms. Mills. Ahh, wonderful essence, they have," said Dumbledore, laughing a lot.

"Oh! Oh! They are just fantastic. Just those brilliant minds, to create something so unique!" Professor Slughorn roared with laughter. "Can we keep them Albus? They can be very useful in the summer time!"

"I'm afraid not, Horace. At least one of them is very instable; they can cause problems in the future, if trapped. Its wish is to be free is, indeed, a problem, I've never learned how to control that. I believe, you see, they carry the personality, the true essence of their masters? No, no, they must go, Horace." And just waving his wand once, Dumbledore made them vanish in a glittering powder.

"Professor, they must be punished! They ought to be punished!" cried Filch.

"They will, Argus. They don't have the right to attack anybody, not even if the desire is justified. But, the school really needed to be washed." Filch made a very ugly face. "So, before that, let me just add forty points to each one of their houses: twenty for the perfect combination of potions and charms; and twenty more because they were originals. The detention will be set by myself as soon as I find them. Ah!" said Dumbledore to himself. " They are there, of course."

"Can you believe that?" said Sirius, very angry. "They turn the school into utter chaos and receive points for that! Brilliant, they said! I hate that Vance! Why was she not kept in Ravenclaw in the first place? She hates me, you saw, Remus! The sea dragon was coming to get me, too." He pointed to Remus and said bitterly, "Your friend's pet was coming for me!"

"Ahh, isn't Evans so brilliant?" said James dreamily; he was clearly not listening to the conversation. He only had thoughts of Lily.

"Err, I don't think it was going to attack you, Sirius," said Remus, not paying attention to James. But Sirius was no longer listening to anybody, only his own thoughts.
