It's A Small World After All

It was yet another beautiful morning. Lily walked into the Great Hall, and noticed that the Marauders were laughing like goons. She sat down next to Sarah, and Emily.

"What's up with these guys," Lily questioned.

"You know I really don't know, they've been this way for awhile," Sarah replied.

"Well, you should now, you're going out with Sirius, and everybody knows that he can't keep a serect," Emily said.

"Yeah, well, he's doing a good job of it right now," Sarah whispered.

"The only thing that this can mean is yet another prank. A really good one for them to act like this," Lily said wisely.

"Yes, Lils, that is very true. Poor Slytherins, they're not going to know what hit them," Sarah said.

"Anyways, -" Lily was then cut off by a rather strange noise. It sounded like... sheep... In came some, well, Slytherin colored sheep, expect there was one black one.

"Oh, my. They've really out did themselves this time," Lily said laughingly. Sarah started to laugh, the Marauders where already laughing up a storm, and soon everyone else did.

Lily sat in the 7^th year girl's dormitory, on her bed. She leaned over to write in her diary. She opened, and flipped to the back, and inside was where some very mean comments about her. She knew right away that Petunia wrote it. She wondered how her sister could be so cruel, and then started cry.

James walked by the girl's rooms, when he heard someone crying. He was going to walk away, when he heard the person cry even harder. I've got to do something. He opened the door, and looked around, and saw Lily, crying. He insently walked over, and put his arms around her. She gave a start, looked up and cried even harder. He tightened his hold around her, whispered words of comfort, and she slowly calmed down. She looked up at him, and a tear rolled down, his finger came and wiped the tear away. They looked into each other's eyes, then he leaned down and kissed her. He pulled away looked at her, she looked at him, then he leaned down, and kissed her again. She kissed him back, and soon, they were laying on the bed kissing. Then Lily pulled back, and said, "James, we can't do this." He looked at her, his eyes questioning. "Why. Look, Lily I've been a fool. I just saw you as a friend and nothing else, but there's more to it then that."

"Well, what about Nikki, James? You're still going out with her, and I won't be with you if you're still with Nikki." James looked down, the room was silent. He took a deep breath then looked back at her. "You're right Lily. We shouldn't be doing this, but when I held you it felt so right, and I've never felt that way about anybody." He looked away, and Lily felt like crying again.

"James, we just can't do this." He looked at her, and she saw a determined light in his eyes.

"You know, Red, we're going to be together. I will do anything to be with you," he said forcefully. James then stood up, and walked out, leaving Lily to watch him.
