It's A Small World After All
Chapter Four:
Lily said good-bye to her parents, and walked where the barrier lay. She saw Emily walked over and gave her a bug hug.
"Em, it seems like forever. Where's Sarah?"
"Oh, well, she probably making out with Sirius," Emily said matter-of-factly.
"What?" Lily had a surprised look on her face. "How come one told me this?"
"Well, you were grounded like the whole summer." Lily's expression said so what? Emily quickly hurried, "Well, Sarah did say that she wanted to surprise you." Then Sarah came up to them. "So did you hear?" she asked in short gasps.
"Yeah, it seems that everyone knows this...except for me."
"Oh, buck up Evans. I didn't know until yesterday, and you really don't want to know how I found out," James said. Sarah blushed and looked away, then said, " Now, Jamise-lad don't get upset because you're the one who decided to take a nighttime stroll." Sirius then came, and put his arm around Sarah.
"Yeah, James, you ought to be more careful where you wander," Sirius said with innocence. James muttered something and they laughed at him.
"Oh, there's Remus! We'd better get on the train," Emily voiced.

They entered the Great Hall and seated themselves. Professor McGonagall stood up, and the Sorting began.
"Would they hurry up? I'm really hungry," Sirius complained.
"Sirius you're always hungry," Remus commented.
"Well, I'm extra hungry right now. It's the beginning of the year banquet; the food is the best now. Food...ah, one of the best things in life," he said dreamily.
"Sirius, sorry to rain on your parade, but it's just food," Remus said.
Sirius looked like he would expire right on the spot for having Remus say such a scandalous thought. He swelled and looked at Remus. Then, he said in a painful voice, "Remus, how could you say such a thing? It's totally unthinkable, I thought you were my friend! James, did you hear him?"
"Alas, yes I did. How can he say such a thing? Something must be done."
"Yes, action must be taken. Oh, say a prank...on some unfortunate Slytherins."
"I think that is the best plan."
"Well, here we go."
Suddenly the Slytherins broke out into song. A beautiful song. A song that would have everyone to remember it. They were singing The Sound of Music. They put poor Marie at shame. Ah... It was beautiful.
"Sirius my friend, it's a beautiful day," James said
"That it is, that it is."
So the beginning of the year started off with a bang.
Later that night in the Common Room, there was some major plotting at work. The Marauders had serious expressions on their faces, which couldn't be good, because whenever that happened, it meant someone was going to get pranked really bad.
Sirius stood, then started to whistle. Then he turned and walked out. He walked along until he reached the Slytherins' Common Room entrance. He looked around muttered some words, then turned around and walked back to the Gryffindor Common Room.
"Sirius, did you do it?" James questioned.
"Yup, they're not going to know what hit them." The guys laughed at this, then talked about what would happen tomorrow. Remus then suggested that they go to sleep, and sleep they did.
