It's A Small World After All

Chapter Two:

On Thursday night, Sirius gave Lily the spell. He made her do it over and over until she had it perfect. Finally, she got it right. Sirius smiled, and you could tell that if his skin couldn't hold him in he'd be all over the place. Until tomorrow.

It was a beautiful Friday morning. Lily came into the Great Hall, like normal, and sat next to Sarah and Emily. She ate her breakfast, talked and laughed with Sarah, then she looked over at Sirius. He shook his head. Not yet. Finally, waiting for what seemed eons, he gave the signal, and she said the spell and waited. Then, in came the most beautiful song in the world: "It's A Small World After All". Everyone heard, and had confused, amused expressions on their faces. They looked, and realized that this wonderful song came from Snape. And there he was, with his singing underwear and a look of hatred on his face. All was well in the world in that very moment. Mission complete. Sirius laughed as hard as the rest; you could see the tears rolling down his face. He gave a great sigh, and then started laughing once more. Drawing in yet another breathe to try and cease the laughter, but he couldn't seem to stop.

"Padfoot, calm down buddy, you're going to make it obvious," Remus whispered.

"Sorry, can't help it. Did you see his face? Never before had I seen it that color of red. Life is wonderful," Sirius said blissfully.

"So, what's going to be our next prank?" James asked. They sat there talking about what to do next, when someone came up with a beautiful idea.

Lily sat down by the fire. She was so preoccupied that she didn't notice that Sarah and Emily sat down as well.

"Hello, earth to Lily!" Lily looked up, blinked serveal times, then saw her friends.

"Sorry, guys. I just was thinking."

"Yeah, we kind of figured that out," Emily sarcastically said.

"Lils, we have something to ask you," Sarah voiced.

"What?"

"Well, we want to know why you agreed to do the prank with The Marauders. I mean it's just not like you," Emily said softly. Lily looked at them, and a mischievous light came into her eyes, "Well, that's why I did it. No one expects good old Lily to do anything like that. I can't have fun that isn't related to school; I can't step out of bounds. Well, you know what? I am tired of doing what everyone thinks I should do. I want to do stupid stuff like that! I want to get in trouble sometimes! I'm tired of being predictable!" Well, needless to say, the whole Common Room had heard this outburst. They were shocked to hear Lily say this, but then appulse broke out, and Lily sat down, looking embarrassed.

"Well, that was a well of information. Welcome to the Dark Side of the Force."

After Lily's little speech in the Common Room, she had changed. She pulled so many exciting pranks that even the Marauders were shocked. Well, it was the end of the year, and everyone was surprised that the custom end of the year prank hadn't happened yet. As Dumbledore stood up to make his usual speech, he spoke in, well, a different language. He looked a little puzzled, but then that amused expression was on his face. He made his speech, then sat down. Well, what happened next is quite interesting: EVERYONE was speaking in some kind of a different language. Then a banner came, saying "THE MARAUDERS: KING OF PRANKSTERS." Everyone laughed.

Lily got off the Hogwarts Express, and said bye to her friends. She saw her parents, and made her way to them. Then she saw James, kissing Nikki, and felt her heart break. I can't believe I even had a chance to be with him. She looked away, and gave her parents a hug. "Hi, Mum, Dad." She then walked with her parents, and went home.
