It's A Small World After All:

Lily sat in the Gryffindor Common Room with her two best friends, Emily, and Sarah.

"So, you guys, do you think Sirius will ask me out?" Sarah asked. Lily and Emily rolled their eyes. Sarah had a huge crush on Sirius. Ever since he broke up with his girlfriend, she has had hoped that he'd ask her out.

"Oh, yeah, Sarah, he'll ask you out. As soon as James asks Lily out," Emily said.

"That was just cold, Em," Sarah said. Then a group of four boys came tumbling in.

"Did you see his face?" Sirius asked.

"Priceless, just priceless," Peter said. The girls looked at them, wondering just what prank they played this time.

"Well, at least someone keeps us entertained," Sarah said.

"Be quiet! We need to finish our potions essay," Lily said. They all groaned. Potions was the worst subject.

"Well, hello girls. So did you finish the potions essay?" Sirius asked.

"Sorry, Sirius, we were just getting started," Lily said.

"Crap!" With that he walked off.

As Sirius walked back over to his friends, he asked James, "So, Jamise-Boy, are you going to ask her out or not?"

"I don't know, maybe I shouldn't."

"Oh, for goodness sakes, James just go over and ask her. Just remember be cool," Remus said.

"Right. Okay, I'm going to do it," James said. He then started to walk across the Common Room.

"Oh, Merlin, Lily! Look! James is heading this way," Sarah said.

"Really? how do I look?"

"Fine Lils, don't look," Emily said. James came, and walked right past them to Nikki Carter.

"Maybe he's going to ask her about homework," Emily said, knowing that wasn't true, and that her friend was crushed.

"I'm okay, guys, it doesn't matter. Well I'm finished. I'm tried, so goodnight." Emily and Sarah saw their friend walk across the Common Room.

The next day word got around that James, and Nikki were an item. Emily and Sarah knew that their friend was having a very hard time with this, even though she said otherwise.

"Are you sure you're okay, Lily?" Sarah asked.

"Yes, I'm fine. It doesn't matter. Besides I don't really like him enough to go out with him," Lily said. They all knew this was a lie.

Then Sirius came up, and said. "Lily my dear, you're looking more beautiful then ever."

"Okay, Sirius what do want?" Lily asked.

"Me? Want Something? Why, Lily I'm crushed," Sirius said with mock innocence. The three girls rolled their eyes at this. "Okay, here's the rundown. We really want to play this really good prank, and the charm that we need is very complicated. Since you, Lily me dear, are top in Charms, we need you to perform," he said.

"Ah...so what are you going to do to Snape this time?" Lily asked.

"Well, it's simple really. We want him to have his underwear sing 'It's a Small World After All'."

"Hmmm...well, I guess I could help. When do we start?" Lily asked.

"I knew I could count on you. I'll give you the spell on Thursday. Have a good day," Sirius said. Then he left to tell the other Marauder's the plan.

"Well, that was interesting. I can't wait," Emily said.
