"Are you packed, yet? Hurry up Alexa, would you!" Rowan yelled to her twin sister. "We're going to be late!"

Even though they were twins they didn't look much alike, and they had very different personalities. Rowan wasn't as thin as Alexa and had a rounder face. She had gray-blue eyes and dirty blond hair. She usually dressed in clothes that were comfortable, like pajama pants. Rowan was very flirtatious and loved attention from boys. Alexa on the other hand, was very thin with a slimmer rounded face. She also had cerulean colored eyes, and golden blond hair. She dressed in tight, almost preppy clothes, and never liked to look comfortable. She always wanted the beautiful look. Alexa was never really flirtatious...but that didn't mean she was shy. If Alexa didn't have a boyfriend she could flirt like a wild dog, but if she did there was no flirting at all. Alexa didn't have to flirt anyway to get the boys' attention because she was really pretty.

"Late for what?" yelled Alexa back down the stairs.

"The school train, stupid...it's leaving in about 20 minutes!" Rowan replied. The Hogwarts Express was leaving from Kings Cross Station and they were very lucky they lived so close.

"I'm ready!" called Alexa as she bounded down the spiral staircase. She was wearing a sparkly green blouse with a tight jean skirt.

"You're looking for a guy on the train already, Alexa? It's the first day of school, and you JUST broke up with Matt!" Rowan said, with a half-giggle.

"What's your point?" Alexa replied seriously.

"Oh girls! Wearing that Muggle clothing isn't going to really matter anyway! You're going to have to change into your new robes there!" And their mother dragged them to the Ministry cars their father was providing and they set off toward King's Cross.

It didn't take very long to get there though; perhaps because they lived so close, or maybe because that Ministry car could definitely fit through spaces a Muggle car couldn't even see! When they arrived the Ministry chauffeurs took out Rowan's army patterned trunk, gray owl, and Hogwarts robes, and set them on a wheeled cart in front of her. They did the same with Alexa's fluffy pink trunk, snowy white owl, and her own Hogwarts robes.

As they looked around the station they saw their cousin Harry Potter leaning against a wall in the corner of the station, with all his stuff in front of him. Alexa ran towards him.

Meanwhile Rowan stayed with her parents. She didn't like to be seen near her male cousin because she believed it would "ruin her reputation."

"Mom, how do we board the Hogwarts Express?"

"Why don't you go ask Harry, honey?" her mother replied.

"How about I stay here and watch what he and Alexa do," Rowan said coldly. It seemed her mother forgot how much she disliked her cousin. She looked at Alexa who was still walking towards Harry.

"Hey Harry!" Alexa shouted as she reached her famous cousin.

"Alexa!" he returned and gave her a warm hug. "I haven't seen you since you visited me from Bulgaria. What are you doing here?"

"Rowan and I transferred from Durmstrang because we moved here. My father was tired of being the Bulgarian Minister of Magic and the only way for him to get rid of the job was to move out of the area."

"Wow!" said Harry. "I really hope you're in my school house! Then we could talk like we used to when you visited me!"

"YEAH!" said Alexa, "but first we have to get to school. How do you catch the train Harry?"

"Just walk through the wall between platforms nine and ten. The correct side of the wall is the platform 10 side. You'll go straight through."

"Harry, if we have a train to catch why are you standing out here?"

"I'm meeting my girlfriend here," Harry said shortly. " Why don't you go now and get good seats with your sister."

"Okay! See you later Harry!" and Alexa headed back over to Rowan and her parents.

"So, did you find out how to get on the platform, Alexa?" Rowan asked, expecting her to have forgotten.

"Actually I did, Rowan. Come with me," Alexa replied. "Bye Mom, Bye Dad!"

She dragged Rowan over to the brick wall between Platforms 9 & 10, sought out the correct side, and faced Rowan.

"Just walk straight through this wall."

"Okay Alexa!" Rowan replied cheerfully, but she sounded a little nervous all the same. She was about to walk through a solid brick wall after all. But as she walked on she went straight through and disappeared.

"Here goes nothing!" Alexa said bravely, and headed toward it, closed her eyes, and...found herself on the other side, just as if nothing had been there at all. She walked over to a man in maroon robes and gave him her things.

"Over here sis! This compartment looks good!" Rowan shouted. Alexa ran to the door and onto the train to find a completely empty compartment.

"I thought we should have a private compartment for when we change," Rowan said matter-of-factly. "We can explore the rest of the train and meet new people later."

The two girls talked and talked for hours about what the students might be like at this new school, the new teachers, and what house they were hoping to be in. It was already beginning to get dark as the train traveled farther and farther north before Alexa and Rowan decided they should meet a few of their classmates.

When they opened the door that separated their compartment from the next, they saw a very tall boy with red hair, a rather short girl with bushy brown hair, a girl that looked a bit younger than the rest with flaming red hair, a very pretty girl with white blonde hair, and, to Rowan's dislike, Harry Potter, who was sitting next to his girlfriend Moisha Adams, a brown haired Ravenclaw girl with a very large, oversized butt.

"Hay Alexa!" said Harry cheerfully, as Rowan sat in the far corner of the compartment. "These are my friends, Ron (the red haired one), Hermione (the bushy brown haired one), Ginny (the one with flaming red hair, just like Ron's), and Alana (the white-blonde haired one.) Ron and Ginny Weasley, Hermione Granger, and Alana Malfoy." Harry sort of had to work hard to say "Malfoy." Alexa was just about to ask about this, but Alana cut it.

"Sorry, Alexa. Harry and Ron here don't like my cousin Draco Malfoy very much, so they don't really like having to say his name."

"I see," said Alexa curiously, "but who is this Draco Mal..."

Alexa didn't find out who he was yet, though, because the train suddenly stopped violently and the lights went out, leaving the train in pitch-blackness. Somebody inside their compartment shouted "Lumos" and Alexa realized this man was in the compartment all along, but her eyes skimmed past him because he had been sleeping.

"Everybody stay calm. I'll sort this out," said the man in a weak, yet very strong structured voice.

Just then, a black, hooded, and cloaked figure with rotting hands stepped onto the train. With his first rattling breath, the air went cold, and Alexa felt her breath catch in her chest and she felt herself lose consciousness...

"Samantha! Lord Voldemort is approaching your brother and his wife's house. I'm going to go help. I'll take Alexa...she loves Harry so much."

"Do be careful, Randall. He might not be expecting you!"

"LILY! IT'S HIM! TAKE HARRY AND RUN!"

"I'm going to help, Alexa! Stay put, my girl." There was a bright flash of greenish light.

Alexa woke up. She was lying on the floor of the compartment along with Harry. The weary man was standing over them. As Alexa looked around, she saw everyone else in the compartment did look severely shaken, but none of them were on the ground like her and Harry.

"What was that?" asked Harry.

"A dementor," the weary man replied. "One of the dementors of Azkaban. They make you feel full of sorrow, and make you relive any tragedies that may have happened in your past."

Alexa understood now. She understood why only she and Harry were on the ground. They were the only ones who had experienced tragedies in their pasts, and the dementors made them both relive them.

The man, who's name was Professor R.J. Lupin according to his briefcase, handed everyone in their compartment a small slab of chocolate. As Alexa ate the chocolate, she felt warmth spread through her body, to the very tips of her fingers and toes. Now that she felt better, she got up and faced Alana.

"So, who is this kid, Draco Malfoy. Harry's never told me about him..."

Once again, Alexa didn't get her answer, because the door on the opposite side of the compartment slammed open, and a boy with white-blonde hair ran it, with the most gleeful expression on his face.

"Potter? Is what I heard true? You actually fainted?"

When Alexa saw him, she went into a daze. He was the most handsome boy she had ever seen. He had white-blonde hair that was as silky as his voice, and a smooth round face. He only looked to be about 2 or 3 inches taller that herself. She was only awoken from her trance when she heard Alana talk.

"Alexa did, too, Draco!" Alana said to her cousin coldly, pointing at Alexa. Draco looked at Alexa. His jaw dropped and he seemed to have become temporarily speechless staring at Alexa in her neat blouse and skirt.

Finally he managed to say, "Did it hurt, Alexa?"

"Did what hurt? When I fainted?" Alexa replied, confused.

"No. Did it hurt when you fell from heaven?" Draco Malfoy said, his pale cheeks reddening. Then the train stopped. They had reached Hogsmeade Station.

"Ooh! Draco's got a crush!" Alana said laughing.

"No!" he said for all to hear, but then he whispered to Alana. "Draco's in love."
