It was Saturday night. The night of Virginia's association. Forbidden to tell anyone else about it, she was forced to make her way to the venue at 11:45pm alone. When she reached the entry doors to the West Wing, she whispered the password and walked in. Christophe had given her instructions on where to go the previous evening and so she followed them up to the north tower. When she arrived at the room, the door was ajar, and there were black-robed figures sitting in a circle - only six this time, with candles flickering everywhere.

"Welcome, Virginia. My name is Nikolai Iordan. I am the head of the Argentus Society thus far, and would like to personally congratulate you on being selected to join this prestigious organization. We have looked into your past Virginia, and of course into your bloodline - you would not be here if we had not. You were not always the person you are becoming to be, and by joining us, we can help you to develop your true potential, to not feel like part of the shadows, to stand out against the crowd.

"Tonight, your initiation can be seen as a simple, or a complicated task. If you have the power within you to complete it, as we all believe you do, then you will find it fairly simple. Are you ready to hear what it is?" he had stood up amongst the others and pulled back his hood, revealing his dark blonde hair and enchanting purple-blue eyes. Virginia nodded.

"I'm ready," she said simply. He nodded and summoned her into the middle of the circle. She stepped into the center of the figures.

"Tonight, you will perform a spell, any one that you choose, to conjure up the ghost of the dead and then banish it to the depths of Lucifer," he started. Virginia was shocked although she didn't show it. Conjure up the dead? That was one of the most complicated spells that a wizard could do. It involved complete and utter concentration and a power that she didn't think she possessed. If that wasn't bad enough, banishing it was a process almost as hard; she'd read that people had died from it because the ghosts they'd conjured had been so angry that they'd inhabited the living bodies had sucked all the life form out of them.

Could she do it? Did she have enough power? There was only one way to find out - and she knew just the spells.

"Okay. I'm ready."

"Master, it is an honour that you grace us tonight with your presence," said Lucius, bowing his head.

Voldemort was not listening, his red eyes were searching the room, searching as if he was close to a treasure he had been after for a long time. Finally, those evil slits rested themselves on Virginia, who held her head high defiantly. After all he had put her through, she should not have to bend to his whim. He glided effortlessly over to her and stood before her. The coldness she had felt when he first entered was tripled and she had to stop herself from shivering. Before her very eyes, Voldemort transformed, and became the very image of his sixteen-year-old self. Tom Riddle stood before her. He held out his hand and mesmerized, she took it. She vaguely heard Draco give a grunt of protest but pushed it to the back of her mind. Tom turned back to the party and waved his hand.

"Continue celebrating my servants, I would like to have a little chat with this young lady privately," he said. Almost immediately the music started up again, and many people, unaware that it had stopped in the first place, started dancing once more.

"My Lord, if I may ask, what is it that you want to talk to my son's date about?" Lucius inquired humbly. Tom, never taking his eyes off Virginia, answered him.

"Why because, I've finally found what I've been looking for." And with that, he led her out of the room. Draco watched them go angrily, but unable to do anything to stop them. Lucius put a hand on his son's shoulder.

"Don't worry Draco, why don't you enjoy yourself, I'm sure they won't be long," he suggested and then walked off to find his wife. Draco, still angry, stalked off to get himself a drink.

Tom led Virginia out onto the beautiful back garden of Malfoy Manor, and gestured for her to sit on an expensive-looking seat next to him. He took her hand and looked at her beautiful face.

"Virginia, you grow more beautiful every time I see you," he said, kissing her hand softly. Virginia felt shivers run up and down her spine. Stop it, this is the man that made you what you are today, he killed innocent Ginny Weasley the day he lured you into the Chamber of Secrets, and now he's come back to finish you off.

"How could you see me? We haven't had contact for almost six years," she said, taking her hand back. Tom looked into her eyes and was surprised to find himself struggling to maintain the power. Her eyes were once again filled with an irresistible pull of darkness and almost lured him in. He caressed her cheek and smirked inwardly when she closed her eyes and leaned into his touch.

"You're wrong Virginia ... I watch you all the time ... every day I sense your power growing, it only surprises me that I did not realize it until now ... you are part of the prophecy," he said, drawing closer to her. Tom looked hungrily at her full lips and couldn't wait a moment longer. He leaned towards her and captured those lips in a rough, passionate kiss. Virginia, overcome with the darkness he was surrounding her with, drowned in her own desire and flung her arms around his neck, kissing him back with equal passion. Something inside of her was fighting its way through to the top, and when it reached there, her head began to clear, and she realized what she was doing. Pushing him back she jumped up. Tom thought she'd never looked more beautiful then she did right there. The moon reflecting off her golden dress and jewelry, her beautiful red hair slightly wilder now with the recent events, her eyes blazing with a fire he had to fight not to get lost in.

"What are you doing to me?" she whispered, her eyes becoming frightened now. He stood up so that he towered over her.

"You, my princess, are the third being of the prophecy that will lift me to the utmost power. You are the daughter of virtue, the fire, the balance that can help me there. All you have to do ... is trust me." His eyes bore into her almost pleadingly, and she could feel herself being sucked in again. She was drowning in a never-ending pool of hate, anger and death, but at that moment, none of it mattered.

"Yes Tom, I'd do anything for you."

******************

When they returned Draco was immediately at Virginia's side. He took in her tousled appearance and could feel anger boiling up inside him again. Tom Riddle, still in his younger state walked up to him. The look that Draco gave him would have normally made a person screech and run in the opposite direction ... but the Dark Lord was far from intimidated. He was quite amused in fact.

"You have chosen well Draco. And you have found the third part of the prophecy; I am extremely pleased with you. Expect a reward." And with that, he vanished. Draco didn't know whether to keep feeling angry, or to be pleased that he'd done something right, something that would make his father proud of him for once. He realized that even if Virginia had kissed him, it wouldn't have done well to refuse the Dark Lord. He looked at her, noting the confusion that had settled itself onto her beautiful face and the feelings he'd started to have for her came back all over again. Draco wrapped his arms around her tightly.

"I'm not really in the mood to party anymore ... did you want to go somewhere to talk? I need to tell you some thing's," Virginia asked him. He kissed her forehead and nodded. Looking over the crowd of people, he caught Aleña's eye and mouthed to her that they were going. She nodded. Draco led Virginia down a long hallway and through several passages that she would never have remembered if her life depended on it, until they finally came to a large white door. He opened it, letting her go through first, and she gasped as she took in her surroundings.

The room was huge, elegant and beautifully decorated. The main color scheme was, as anyone would have guessed, representative of Slytherin house. Draco's huge four-poster double bed was covered in black silk sheets and a beautiful, forest green duvet with matching pillows. The green material had little black dragons embroidered intricately into them adding to the sophistication and expensiveness of the spread. He had rosewood furniture; shelves, a desk, chairs, and the light that cast from the ceiling emanated a soft, almost silver glow over the room. The curtains that hid a large window had the same design as the bed covers - everything was perfectly matched. There was a door leading to an enormous en suite bathroom as Virginia found out. She walked through and gasped again. The room, with its white marbles and expensive silver taps was pristine. There was a huge mirror at the other end, and the bathtub was almost as big as the prefcts one at Hogwarts. (Draco, being Head Boy had told Virginia the password). There were numerous different taps at one end and Virginia was itching to test them out. But alas, another time perhaps. She walked back into the bedroom to find Draco sitting thoughtfully on the bed. She sat down next to him.

"I know that you kissed him, it's okay ... it would have been hard to say no to him ... it might well have saved your life that you did ..." Draco said. The words coming out rather hesitantly. Virginia took his hand.

"Draco, Tom had a hold over me so many years ago. We have a connection between us, and it's so hard to describe, ..." Draco's heart felt like it was being ripped out. Virginia began stroking his long fingers fervently.

"He may still have something over me ... but you're the man that I love," Draco looked at her then, smiling genuinely for the first time in a long time. He was about to speak when Virginia put a finger to his lips, shushing him.

"Wait, I want to get this out first. Tom opened up something inside of me that I have come to embrace. I owe this to him; a part of me will always owe this to him ... that's why I've chosen to serve him. The bond that I have with him, and the love that I have for you is far greater then any emotion anybody, even ... especially my family have ever shown me. The both of you ... you see me for who I really am and not some worthless little schoolgirl that has a crush on Harry Potter like every other girl my age on the British Isles ..." she smiled then, cupping his cheek and kissing his lips softly.

"I understand Virginia. My whole life, I've been brought up to serve the Dark Lord, to not feel emotion, to control others and to have power. I've never known what love is; my parents never showed me it. Perhaps my mother tried to, but obviously not enough. I've grown up in a cold-hearted, stone wall dungeon and I don't know if I have it inside of me to love another person ... especially since I've never learnt to love myself. You make me feel something that I've never felt before. I have so many different emotions swirling around inside of me, emotions I've never felt before, and truth be told, it scares me. The only thing that I can try now, is to open up my heart and love you. And I promise that I will ... you ... you are so special to me," he said the last part huskily, taking her into his arms again. She took the initiative then and led the two of them back onto the top of the bed so that their heads were lying on his gorgeous pillows. Bringing her hands to his face she kissed him tenderly and he in turn wrapped his strong arms around her lithe body, pulling her as close as possible.

Virginia trailed her fingers across his shirt until they were making circles on his back. She started to tug at it, trying to get it off. She wanted to feel his skin against hers. Realizing what she was doing Draco broke the kiss and looked into her eyes. He was surprised to see them filled with love, trust and most of all, passion.

"Have you ever done this before?" he whispered. She cast her eyes down for a moment, a flush creeping up onto her already rosy cheeks.

"No," she replied, slightly embarrassed. Draco smiled at her embarrassment and hugged her again.

"Don't be ashamed of it, I just wanted to know whether you were sure about doing this ... because believe me when I say this Gin, I'll wait for you forever," he said seriously. She smiled back at him, tears collecting in her already glossy eyes. Kissing his lips again she nodded.

"I'm sure Draco, I've never been so sure about anything in my entire life, only ..." she trailed off, looking slightly sheepish.

"What is it?" Draco asked, confused. Virginia let out a small giggle.

"Do I still get to be the daughter of virtue after this?" she asked between laughs. Draco grinned, pulling her to him even tighter then before.

"You get to be anything you want to be baby," he said before sealing it with a kiss. As the kiss deepened, Virginia finally managed to pull Draco's shirt over his head. He in turn reached around her back and slowly slid the zipper down on the back of her dress. Slowly, and luxuriously they managed to completely undress each other, stealing kisses in-between each item of clothing. They climbed under the covers and lay there together. Draco had draped an arm over Virginia and was kissing and licking at the soft nape of her neck listening to her sweet intakes of breaths at his ministrations. Finally he stopped and looked into her eyes again.

"If you want me to stop, just tell me," he told her again. She shook her head.

"I don't want you to stop. I'll never want you to stop."

Draco and Virginia woke up the next day, bodies entwined, fitted perfectly against each other. Virginia smiled at the warmth that Draco's body was providing her own as the room was really quite drafty. She yawned and turned to look at him just as he was opening his eyes. There was a small crack in the curtains where the sun was shining through directly onto the bed. Draco leant towards her faced and brushed his lips against hers.

"Morning beautiful," he said. She smiled.

"Did you sleep well?" She asked him.

"I had the most wonderful dream about a beautiful girl with hair like fire and a temper to match," Draco said cheekily. Virginia hit him playfully. Draco's expression turned serious for a moment.

"Virginia ... we're going to have to get you to Madame Pomfrey when we get back to Hogwarts ... I don't think now is a good time to ..." he trailed off, cheeks flushing slightly. Virginia giggled when she realized what he was trying to say.

"Pregnant Draco? Is that what you wanted to say? PREGNANT?" she emphasized receiving a scowl from him. She rolled her eyes and kissed him quickly.

"Don't worry, it's already been taken care of," she said as he moved in to punish her for making him look stupid. They were just about to get into a tickling fight when there was a knock at the door.

"Who is it?" Draco called lazily.

"Darling, Lucius expects you in his chambers in ten minutes, don't be late," his mother called to him through the door before they heard her walk away.

"And I'd better not be late. Don't worry, I'll be back soon," he kissed Virginia softly on the forehead before getting up and finding something suitable to wear. Blowing her another kiss, he exited quietly. Walking down the long Malfoy corridors, he remembered that he'd told his father he'd tell him who Virginia really was by the end of the previous night. He hoped Lucius was in a good mood. Knocking firmly, he opened the door when he'd been given permission to enter.

"Father," he greeted his father coldly, standing by his desk.

"Sit," Lucius ordered. Draco complied and sat down on one of the lavish mahogany chairs in the study.

"I have to say ... you've certainly surprised me. A Weasley, Draco? What were you thinking?" Lucius asked him coolly, one eyebrow raised. Draco looked back at his father insolently.

"So you haven't heard then Lucius," Draco said, amusement in his voice as he spat out his father's name. His father fixed him with a stern look.

"Miss Weasley happens to be the third part of the Dark Lord's prophecy. The daughter of virtue, the fire. You did not know this?" Draco said condescendingly, secretly taking in the glee at knowing something Lucius didn't. Lucius looked like he was struggling between being pleased and being angry.

"Go back to school. I shall discern the situation myself." Draco got up and gracefully left the chambers. Lucius touched his wand to his arm, muttered an incantation, and disappeared.

********************

Virginia and Draco arrived back at Hogwarts after taking the floor connection to Hogsmeade, and walking back. The rest of the Slytherin seventh years that had attended the party were already back at school.

"Hey Gin, you disappeared early last night, where did you go?" Blaise asked, winking at the younger girl as she walked into their room. Virginia had the grace to blush, which made the other girls all jump up in excitement.

"Well well well! Looks like little Virginia Weasley has finally been DEFLOWERED," Pansy said in the most blunt tone. Virginia blushed even more, but was enveloped into a hug by Aleña, who then turned around and shushed the other girls good-naturedly.

"Now now Pansy, let's not waste time teasing her, I want to hear all the gory details!" she cried as she pulled Virginia down onto her bed. Virginia rolled her eyes. It was going to be a long day!

********************

After she'd finally been let go of the prison that was her teasing dorm mates and best friends, Virginia wandered down through the halls of the castle, deciding she'd go sit by the lake and sit for a while. She was intercepted on the way though, by none other then Professor Dumbledore.

"Miss Weasley, I was wondering if I might have a word with you in my office?" he asked. She nodded - she didn't have anything else to do, and unlike Draco, she actually rather liked the headmaster.

They walked along the many hallways and corridors, past many statues and paintings until they came to the stone gargoyle that hid the entrance into Dumbledore's quarters. When they reached his office, he gestured for her to sit down and she did.

"Miss Weasley, I have not spoken to you since the incident which happened quite a few weeks ago now, but it has come to my attention that you do not know the whole story. Virginia, Harry was under the Imperious curse, I can promise you that with my word ... I placed him under a Veritas spell," he said seriously. Virginia looked down at her hands. In her heart, she knew that the rumours were true ... but she'd turned a blind eye. How could you trust somebody that did something like that to you ever again? Regardless of the fact that they were being forced to do it. To make matters worse, her own brother had not spoken a word to her, although she'd caught his longing looks.

"I know," was all she said, looking at him with a grim expression. Dumbledore nodded kindly.

"Well, now that that is out of the way, I have some extremely good news for you!" he said, the twinkle returning to his merry blue eyes. Virginia was intrigued, but tried not to let it show through her cool exterior.

"Your marks in all your subjects, including your advanced subjects so far Virginia, have been outstanding. Exemplary! And therefore, the teachers and I have decided to move you up into the seventh year, so you will be able to graduate with your friends ... and Mr. Malfoy," he said happily, winking at her when he said Draco's name. Virginia was stunned.

"Are you serious?" she said, in a moment of unusually pure happiness. This was amazing, she was so excited, she wouldn't be stuck here for another year by herself!

"I can assure you Miss Weasley, that I am perfectly serious. So serious in fact, that due to that outstanding performance you have shown thus far, we have decided that you shall share the Head Girl responsibilities, deeming you, if you shall ... co-head girl," he said uncertainly. It sounded a little strange - the title that was, everything else sounded to good to be true. Especially the part about ... oooh, wait until Miss Hermione I'm-so-perfect Granger heard about this!

*****************

There was silence. The five other members besides Nikolai had stood up and removed their hoods. Virginia recognized a few of them; Christophe, the one that had explained to her what would be going on the previous evening, and much to her surprise, Aleksander. She dared not smile at him, but they gave each other a look of understanding.

She stood in the middle of the circle, taking deep, controlled breaths, calming her body down. Closing her eyes, she summoned the will and power inside of her and unleash what Tom Riddle had invoked inside of her. She opened them again and all of a sudden she pointed her wand to the sky. In a voice and with a power she herself couldn't even begin to comprehend, she thundered out an incantation.

"Summonum Respectarvus Deceso Presentum!" she thought of the person that she wished to summon, concentrating on the task at hand with all the might she had. The winds outside started to howl with a force she'd never known. Lightening flashed across the previously clear sky and the air started to buzz in anticipation. Even the higher members looked shocked at the power this one girl could have. It felt like the floor was being sucked into the ground, but in reality, a tornado of white mist was beginning to appear, getting larger every single second, gradually obtaining a shape, until finally, with the winds still howling and a thrashing of rain to now accompany it, the ghost was summoned. Its face was angry and it whirled around in all its cloudy mist to face Virginia.

"Why have you summoned me?" it roared. The force of it's words sent a fierce wind her way, and her hair flew behind her in a fiery array of red, but she stood her ground and looked it right in the eye. If she completed this one act, she would be a member of the most prestigious society in Europe ... perhaps the world. And she would loose someone she had loved for so long, because she knew that he always had a way of finding out. He would know what she'd done, and he would hate her for it.

"I have summoned you. Prepare to be banished into the depths of hell. Goodbye ... Lily Potter."
