Part Two

"Harry, I'm very disappointed in you."

Dumbledore's cold, steel-like, gaze kept Harry rooted on his seat. Draco looked as if he owned the castle, unaffected by the Headmaster's glare.

"As I promised, I will--"

"Can I have a Lemon Drop?" Draco cut in.

"No." If Dumbledore's gaze was ice, then his voice was liquid nitrogen, and now even Draco looked scared.

"As I was saying, I will punish you in the way I promised, Harry." Dumbledore's voice suddenly took a softer tone, "I really don't want to do this, Harry, but you leave me no choice!"

How could a little spanking hurt us? That was Harry and Draco's last thought before the Headmaster proved them how wrong they were.

"Can you stand yet?"

"I don't know. I can't feel my legs," Harry mumbled with swollen lips.

"Me neither." Draco coughed, grimacing in pain. "I didn't know he was so strong for an old guy."

"We really should have listened to him."

"Yeah."

The conversation died away, and the two young men lay unmoving on the cold stone floor somewhere in the dungeons.

Dumbledore had given them a lesson they would not forget. He had shown them juts how doomed their relationship was.

"This is how you will end up if you continue to be together! You are doomed!!"

They still could hear Dumbledore's booming voice shouting at them as he abused them nearly to death.

"Why did he dump us here together if he doesn't want us to be together?" Draco asked, turning his head to look at Harry.

"Do you really want to know? Maybe we should ask him, so he can beat us up again!"

"Don't get all worked up, Love. I'm sure my dad--"

"Your dad is going to do what? Sack Dumbledore?"

"No, I was going to say that my dad could be able to protect us!"

"How exactly? He would ask Voldemort to take us in?" Harry spat the words out like venom.

"Do you have a better idea?"

"You can't be serious! Voldemort? He would kill me at sight!"

"No, he wouldn't if you joined his ranks with me."

Harry stared at Draco.

"What?" Draco was getting uncomfortable under Harry's intense staring.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN, WHAT?" Harry shouted on top of his lungs. "That man has been trying to kill me for over a decade and now you tell me to trust him not to kill me?! Are you insane!"

"Take it easy. It's not like we are going to die here or something. It was just a suggestion," Draco said, shrugging.

"Now I can see why Dumbledore thinks our relationship is doomed," Harry whispered, but it echoed in the cold room gaining more volume.

~*****~

"What on EARTH happened to you two?" Hermione shrieked as Harry and Draco walked to the Gryffindor common room.

They were quite a sight. Their hair were bright purple, they were wearing clothes from the 70's and their faces were cover with various drawings, a few of them rather obscene.

"We got what we deserved," Harry muttered, bowing his head.

"Hey! Don't be so depressed," Draco whispered, giving Harry a nudge. "Remember what I said? He might help us, you know."

Harry sent him a glare, which made Draco shiver.

"Oh, Harry!" Hermione sighed. "Now you know why even Voldemort fears Dumbledore."

"What in the hell is HE doing here!" came a second shriek.

They all turned to see Ron running across the room, taking hold of Harry's arm, pulling him away from Draco.

"NO! You can't have my boyfriend!" Draco snatched Harry back into his arms, glaring at Ron.

"What!?" Ron looked dumbfounded. "Harry, please tell me that I heard wrong."

Red-faced Harry shook his head. "This is exactly what it looks like."

"NO!!!" Ron sank to his hands and knees, crying helplessly.

"Shut up, Weasel!" Draco kicked the crying boy on the floor.

"What are you doing!? This is all your fault." Harry pushed Draco away roughly.

"No it's not! It isn't my fault that he is so stupid."

"Are you saying that it is my fault?" Harry pointed himself.

Draco slapped himself on the forehead. "Oh Merlin help me, why did I fall for a Gryffindor!"

"Oh, Ron." Hermione went to comfort him. "Please don't cry. I can't stand it when you cry." Hermione started to sob herself, "Now, look what you have done, Ron! You got me cry, too."

"Stop crying, Ms Granger and Mr Weasley," Professor Snape said behind Harry and Draco, scaring the shit out of Harry.

"P-Professor! What are you doing here?" Ron asked, wiping his wet face on the hem of Snape's robes.

Snape wrenched the robes from Ron's hands in disgust. "Detention tomorrow at nine pm for dirtying my robes, Mr Weasley, and to answer your question I am here to take Mr Malfoy back to where he belongs," Snape said, staring at Draco as he spoke.

"Can't I stay here a bit longer?" Draco asked, looking as cute and adorable as he could.

Snape gave him a withered gaze. "No, you can't," he said, smiling evilly, clearly enjoying that he had the chance to deny something his student wanted.

"Sadistic bastard," Draco muttered under his breath.

"Did you say something, Mr Malfoy?"

"I didn't say anything, right Harry?" Draco smiled sincerely, glancing Harry.

"Yeah, he didn't say a thing."

Draco smirked, giving Harry a kiss on the cheek.

"I'll pretend that I didn't see that, since you are already in bad shape," Snape said, looking away.

"Thank you, Severus, I appreciate it." Draco winked at his professor.

Snape sent him a murderous glare. "It's Professor Snape!! Maybe I should report back to Dumbledore that you are already defying his orders!"

Draco gulped. "Actually, Professor Snape, I have a suggestion that might resolve this situation once and for all."

"Draco, no!" Harry shouted in fright.

Snape glanced briefly at Harry, raising his brows. "What is it that you want to talk me about?"

"Professor, I think we should talk about it in private."

"As you wish, Mr Malfoy. We can talk in my office." Snape turned around to leave, but turned back to face Hermione and Ron, who were still on the floor. "Get up! Even for Gryffindors it is not proper to crawl on the floor like babies. On the second thought, I might be wrong." Snape smiled cruelly. "Come along, Mr Malfoy," Snape said leaving the Gryffindor common room.

"Draco, I hope you are not doing what I think you are!" Harry shouted after Draco, but in vain. Draco was already gone.
