Well, I PROMISE that they will have REALLY serious convo at some point in this story.

Chapter Twelve

Draco opened his eyes, blinking them lazily as they got use to the light of the morning sun. There was various noises to be heard, but he paid them no heed. His brains started to work and he remembered who he was and where he was. Suddenly he understood what the noise was what he was hearing. Soft breathing besides his own and a clock ticking on the wall.

He turned his head to the right and saw a mop of black hair peeking under the covers. A quiet mumbling of the other occupant who was still dreaming reached his ears. Draco smiled affectionately and ran his fingers gently through the mop next to him. The other man groaned, obviously awaken by his touch.

Two green orbs appeared under the covers and fixed a sleepy gaze on Draco. "Morning, gorgeous." Harry yawned.

"Same to you, Harry," Draco said and leaned in to capture Harry's lips with his own, but Harry stopped him.

"Morning breath," he explained.

Draco grabbed the hands that prevented him form kissing his lover. "I don't care," he said and successfully kissed Harry. They both moaned as Harry's morning erection pressed against Draco's thigh. Harry's hand circled suggestively on Draco's waist. "What if Hannah comes in?" Draco asked between kisses, panting slightly.

"She won't," Harry grunted his answer.

"But, what if she--"

"That wasn't a problem yesterday. She might have walked in on us in the kitchen, remember?" Harry's tongue was doing miracles on Draco's chest.

Draco swallowed. "Oh, yes," he whispered.

"Draco shut up," Harry said coldly.

Draco looked as he had been slapped.

Harry covered his eyes with his hand and sighed deeply. "How will I be able to make you see that I love you, Draco?"

Draco's eyes widened a little more than they already were.

"I know that life won't be easy on us, but we will get through it together."

Draco listened Harry's words, not believing his ears. Harry lowered his hand on the table and looked Draco with now soft eyes. He got up and walked next to Draco. He took Draco's face between his hands, tilting it upwards, and kissing him softly on the lips.

Draco grabbed Harry's wrists and squeezed them desperately. Harry lifted his head and gazed into Draco's eyes lovingly. Draco could not stand the intensity of his stare, and hung his head.

"You are hurting me, Draco," Harry whispered into his ear.

Draco was startled. "Oh, sorry," he said, letting go of his hands, and turning away from him.

Harry kneeled on the floor, placing a hand on Draco's thigh. "What's wrong, love?"

Draco squeezed his eyes shut and shook his head.

"Come on, tell me." Harry placed his other hand on his arm.

Draco turned his head and looked at Harry. One single tear ran down his cheek and sob escaped his throat. He fell into Harry's arms, wrapping his arm around Harry as Harry did around his waist.

Harry smoothed Draco's hair down as he cried against his shoulder. "Hey, come on," Harry soothed Draco, placing a kiss on his neck.

Draco sobbed almost silently. Harry hugged him tightly, not knowing how to comfort him further. He pulled away slowly and tilted Draco face towards his. "You shouldn't cry, my beloved Dragon. Tears just aren't your style," he said, drying his tears away.

Draco's eyes were a little red and puffy. He sniffed. "Harry," he said, swallowing thickly. He blinked, willing the new tears away.

"Hey, stop it already." Harry kissed the tears away from Draco's cheeks. He continued to kiss him, trailing a path down his jaw. Harry pulled him closer, placing gentle kisses behind his ear, hugging him tightly against his own body.

Draco wrapped his arms around his neck, hugging him back. "Please, Harry, don't leave me," he whispered desperately.

"Don't worry about that, my Dragon," Harry said, breathing in deep the scent of the other man. "I won't ever abandon you and Hannah."

They sat there, embracing each other for god knows how long. Harry wanted to give Draco all the time he needed to calm down. Draco's breathing was returning to normal and he didn't cry anymore either.

Harry thought that it was time to continue their already cold dinner, but Draco was obviously thinking otherwise. Draco kissed his neck. He moved to straddled Harry's waist, sucking his earlobe. "Make love to me, Harry," he breathed into his ear.

Harry's breath hitched and he suddenly became too much aware of Draco's closeness. Draco took his silence and motionless as a rejection and started to pull away from him.

Harry grabbed him by his arms and crushed their lips together for an almost bruising kiss. "What..." Harry panted after they broke apart. "What about protection?"

"Don't you remember what I said?" Draco asked, nibbling at Harry's lower lip.

"Would you mind having another child?" Harry's husky voice asked near Draco's ear.

"Never with you," Draco whispered back, wrapping his arms around Harry.

"Yes," Harry sighed against his mouth.

Draco smirked, leisurely buttoning Harry's shirt open. "Come on, Golden Boy, show me what you got."

The bedroom door opened and Hannah rushed in. "Dad! Sheridan is..." Hannah's voice trailed off and her eyes widened as she took in the scene in front of her. "Sorry!" she exclaimed and rushed out of the room, slamming the door as she went.

"And you said that she would not come here?" Draco raised his eyebrow.

Harry only smirked at him. "I can't know everything. At least now she learns to knock."

Draco swatted him on the head. "Smartass."

"I love you, too, honey."

Draco struck his tongue out and sat up.

"And who is being childish now?"

Draco snorted. "You are so not getting any today," he said, already pulling on his clothes.

"What about tomorrow?" Harry asked, looking pleadingly at Draco.

"On the second thought," Draco turned to look at him, and pecked him on the lips. "You won't get any for the whole week," he said, leaving to find Hannah.

Harry punched his pillow. "Damn."

Draco peeked into his daughter's room. "Hannah?" he asked and saw her sitting on her bed. "You said something about Sheridan. Has something happened?" He sat on the edge of her bed.

"He's missing," Hannah said, sounding disappointed.

"I'm sure we will find him," he reassured her, patting her knee. "How did he get lose?" He glanced at the cage which was sitting on her desk.

"I don't know. The cage was closed. He must have somehow gotten out from between the bars," she said, hanging her head.

Draco put his arm around her shoulders. "Don't worry, Angel, we will find him." He smiled at her, kissing her forehead. "When did you last saw him?"

Hannah started to explain in detail what she knew.

When Harry finally emerged from his room, he found Draco on his knees looking under a couch in the living room. "This is a view I could enjoy every day," Harry said, smirking.

Draco whirled around, narrowing his eyes. "Ha ha! Very funny. Now, help me find that damn rat."

Harry walked next to him, dropping on his knees as well. He also looked under the couch. "So, what are we looking for?"

"Sheridan."

"Ah! I think I saw him in the bathroom on the second floor."

"Really?" Draco looked at Harry with hopeful eyes.

"Yes, really."

Draco scrambled up from the floor, almost running into the said bathroom.

"Aha!" A shout echoed from the bathroom as Harry followed Draco. When he finally stepped into the room, Draco was already holding the struggling animal. "Ouch! You little piece of--"

"Daddy! You found him!" Hannah ran in, taking her beloved pet from her father. "Oh, Dan, I missed you so much." She hugged Sheridan against her chest.

"You'd better keep that excuse of an animal locked tightly in his cage. I will not look for him again," Draco almost fumed.

"Alright, Dad," Hannah said confused a little.

After Hannah had left the bathroom, Harry closed the door and turned to look at Draco. "Why are you so angry, Draco?"

"That thing bit me and scratched my hands!"

"Oh, poor thing," Harry mocked at him, walking over the room and taking his hands into his own. Blood was seeping through the damaged skin. "Come on, let's get you cleaned up."

"Don't treat me like a child, Harry," Draco whined.

Harry smirked. "It's hard not to when you are acting like one."

Draco snatched his hands from Harry's. "I'm so sick of this!" he shouted, storming out of the door.

"Draco!" Harry exclaimed dumbfounded. "Draco, wait!" He ran after him. He rounded the corner just in time to see the door to Draco's room slam shut.

"Draco?" He stood outside the door and listened carefully. he heard some various things breaking inside. "Draco, open the door!" Harry banged the said door with his fist. The noises continued as he tried to talk Draco to open it for him.

"For fuck's sake, Draco! Open this damn door or tell me what the hell is wrong!" he barked, getting angrier by the minute.

Silence descended and Harry fell silent as well. He waited for a moment, but heard nothing. "Draco?"

No answer.

"God damn it," Harry muttered under his breath, hurrying into his room to get his wand. He founded it on the bedside table and soon he was back at Draco's door. With a quick Alohomora, he stepped into Draco's room. The floor was filled with pieces of glass, wood and metal. Draco was sitting on the floor, leaning into the wall in the corner of the room. His head was in his hands, and Harry could hear him sob.

Harry whispered a cleaning spell before going over to Draco. He placed his hand on Draco's shoulder. "Draco?"

Draco flinched from his touch.

Harry felt a twinge of disappointment. "What's wrong?"

"Everything," Draco's voice was raspy.

Harry didn't dare to touch him, so he kept his distance.

Suddenly Draco raised his head and looked him in the eye with pleading eyes. "Please, Harry, take me away."
