Prologue: how things went and gone
After the death of his parents, Harry Potter felt alone in the world. He didn't understand it, only because he was a baby. However, after time he had the feeling drowning in him. He had thoughts in his mind of something he couldn't grasp, something he didn't understand. Being fifteen years of age, he thought he knew what would come at him -- what would happen at every moment. He was wrong. He was very wrong.
Harry was lied to by the people he trusted. He wondered why didn't anyone tell him. He told himself, maybe they were waiting? But then, waiting for what? For Voldemort to come and take the best thing that ever happened to him -- again? He blamed everyone for their carelessness, their down cast eyes.
Blaming the Slytherin House was first on his list. They were, of course, in line to be the dark witches and wizards of the future. He blamed Albus Dumbledore for not knowing the outcome of this "witchy". He blamed Professor Severus Snape for letting this sort of thing to happen. He blamed the sorting hat for making the decision that separated them. Harry even blamed his friends... Only because he didn't want to admit that he was part to blame. He was the one wanted by the Dark Lord. Not his flesh in blood -- WHY??
He couldn't stand the silence between everyone. He looked towards the Dark Forest, he wondered if maybe he just wander there and never come back. Would they look for him? Would Voldemort find him and capture him. He didn't care. He didn't care at all.
All he wanted was a normal young wizard life: the girlfriend on the side, the friends, and the only blood family, besides the Dursleys (curse them too!), left in this Merlin forsaken world. Was that too much to ask for?
In Harry's case it was.
"We'll get her back," Ron whispered. Harry didn't seem so sure, but he slowly nodded. He clenched his fists so hard that his nails cut through the skin and bleed. The whites of his eyes were crimson from the crying he has done. He thinks he can't cry anymore, but a second later he starts to cry a river.
Hermione, surprising, can't say a word. Ginny won't look at Harry without sobbing. Fred and George haven't blown anything up since the disappearance. Draco Malfoy was the only Slytherin student beside the Gryffindors. He wasn't there to sneer, or to poke fun of this. Yes, he cared... Despite everything, he cared. He cared, only because she was belonged to him. Yes, she was his...
Harry looked up at the sky." Why?!" He put his head down and closed his eyes. You could hear a choked up sob from behind him. Oh, Ginny, Harry thought. Fred or George, he couldn't tell at this moment, his eyes were blurry... hugged Ginny from behind and whispered something that made her sniffle and nod her head.
Hermione, sweet Hermione, held on Ron's hand for comfort. Harry opened his eyes and looked over at the couple. He wanted to smile, but he couldn't. He saw in the distance Headmaster Albus Dumbledore. How Harry wanted to go to Dumbledore and curse him. He sighed. He doesn't have the strength in him anymore for it.
Harry glanced over at Malfoy and scowled... You'll always be Malfoy to Me.. Draco turned his head from watching the two Weasley siblings and stared at Harry. Harry turned away.
His eyes watching back in the forest, he started thinking. He didn't understand, though in a sense he could understand. His sister was the other half of Slytherin's Heir. Harry spoke his first line since his sister had been taken away.
"She's out there -- with him!" Harry narrowed his eyes, his voice deeply low. Hermione let go of Ron's hand, and he put a comforting hand on his shoulder. In that second, he let go.
Harry screamed.
