More To Life…The Sequel 03

"Oh no! We're late!" Parvati said, waking up Harry. "Oh no! We have potions first…Snape's going to Aveda Kedavra us if we are late…and where the hell is Lavender and Oliver?"

As soon as she said that, she saw Lavender walking down from the boys' dormitories in her pajamas.

    "Lavender!?" Parvati screamed.

    "Huh?" Lavender said groggily.

"What were you doing in the boys' dormitory?" Parvati inquired.

"Waking Oliver up…" Lavender said innocently. Then, she knew what Parvati was thinking, "No! No! No!" she screamed.

"Morning sunshine," Oliver said, coming up behind Lavender and putting his arms around her waist.

    "Hi!" Lavender said brightly.

"Hey, we're late!" Harry reminded them.

They had to skip breakfast and go straight to classes. "How nice it is for you to join us, Mr. Potter, Miss Brown and Miss Patil. We're so glad you could fit us into your busy schedule," Snape said to them.

"Sorry, Professor," Lavender said, taking her usual seat beside Parvati who was glaring at Snape with a look of utmost hatred.

"Well, Mr. Potter, our little celebrity. Thinks that he can be late without punishment does he?" Snape said, his lips curling into a smile. Then, he continued. "Well, detention for you, Mr. Potter."

This was too much for Parvati. She stood up and said to Snape, "Why do you have to pick on Harry? Why do you hate him so much?"

"That is enough Miss Patil!" Snape yelled. "Get back in your seat. I believe that I am the teacher in this classroom!"

"Why do you hate Harry? Just answer me that!" Parvati ventured a bit further.

"Ten points from Gryffindor!" Snape yelled.

Right then, Malfoy came strutting into the room saying, "I'm sorry that I'm late, Professor. Nobody woke me up this morning."

"It's quite alright, Mr. Malfoy," Snape said, turning his attention away from Parvati and focused on Draco. "Here, I saved you a seat. Right by my desk."

Then, he turned his attention back to Parvati and now, Lavender yelled, "We're late because we overslept too!"

"Liar!" Snape yelled to Lavender and Parvati. Then, he started to sniff the air, "What's that smell? Hmmm…your pants are on fire!" Then, he started to break dance around the classroom singing, "Liar! Liar! Liar! Your pants are on fire!" When, he got back up, he turned around to see Parvati and Lavender there. He blinked and they slapped him across the face and stormed out of the classroom.

"You slapped Snape?!" Oliver said excitedly as they were sitting down to eat lunch.

"Yeah…I had to, he was being so mean to Harry!" Parvati explained.

"Yeah, when we came in late, he started lecturing us but when Malfoy came in late, he didn't do anything to him!" Lavender chimed in.

"Well, you know that Snape favors the Slytherins over everyone else," Fred said. He and George had been listening to their conversation.

"Here comes the old git now…" George said under his breath. And sure enough, Snape was passing their table, giving Parvati and Lavender looks of hatred.

"Ooooh…reaaaal scary," Lavender said pretending to be intimidated as Snape made his way up to the Head Table.

"Hey," Harry said to them, as he was sitting down.

"Where were you?" Parvati asked him.

"Talking to Snape. I have detention tonight in the dungeons," Harry explained.

"That's not fair! Should we go tell McGonagall about it and how Malfoy came in late and he didn't do anything?" Parvati said to them.

"No, because then we will have to tell her that we slapped him," Lavender said, giving a look of death to Snape who was glaring right back.

"Did Professor Flitwick do anything to you, Oliver? Since you were late?" Lavender asked, changing the subject.

"Nahhh…not really," Oliver said, as they all got up and went to their different classes.

*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*

"Well, I'm off to detention," Harry sighed, coming down from his dormitory. "Bye everyone."

As Harry made his way down to the dungeons, Parvati was up in the Common Room feeling sorry for Harry. "I'm going to follow Harry!" Parvati exclaimed as she went up to the boys' dormitory and got his invisibility cloak from his trunk. She put it on and left Gryffindor Tower.

"Hey…Harry! It's me!" Parvati whispered into the darkness after Snape left.

"Who's me?" Harry asked.

"Me!" Parvati answered.

"Who is me?" Harry asked again.

"Me! Parvati! Don't you know your own girlfriend's voice?" Parvati asked giggling.

"I have so many girlfriends…I don't know which one!" Harry said jokingly.

"Harry!" Parvati said. "Well, I did bring you down some treacle tart but I guess that I won't be giving it to you…" Parvati giggled.

"Wait! I knew it was you the whole time! I just wanted to make sure that you knew who I was! Yeah!" Harry said as he started feeling his way around the room, looking for Parvati.

Parvati giggled. Harry was about four inches from her when she moved. Harry grinned. He was going blindly around the dungeon when suddenly, the door swung open and they looked up to see Oliver and Lavender standing there. "Having all the fun without us?" Oliver asked, laughing.

"What fun? You don't have to clean up all of the crap around here!" Harry said to him.

Oliver and Lavender chuckled. "Not funny…" Harry said, giving them a warning glance.

They stopped at once. Then, Oliver and Lavender looked up in time to see Parvati take off the invisibility cloak and sneak up behind Harry with the treacle tarts. "AHHHHH!" Harry screamed. Parvati had hit Harry in the face with the treacle tart.

Oliver and Lavender about died laughing, when, suddenly, they heard footsteps outside in the corridor. "Oh crap!" Lavender said, panicking.

"Give me the cloak!" Oliver said as he, Lavender, and Parvati got under it and Harry cleaned himself off.

"What was that noise? I heard laughing!" Snape said as he burst through the door.

"What noise?" Harry asked, trying to make a confused face.

"Don't play dumb with me," Snape said in a dangerous tone.

Harry and Snape stared at each other for a good minute when Snape got up and exited the classroom.

"Thanks," Harry said to them as they took off the cloak. "You three better get back up to the tower. We don't want to have any points taken from Gryffindor," Harry said as he kissed Parvati on the cheek.

"Bye Harry!" They all said as they put the cloak back on and returned to Gryffindor Tower.

"Gosh! Snape is such an ugly git!" Oliver said to the two girls as they took the cloak off in Gryffindor Tower. "We should plan some revenge," he said going up to his dormitory.

Oliver opened the door to his dormitory and looked to his bed. There was a note.

My dearest darling Oliver,

I have admired you from afar for too long. You amaze me, with your perfect eyes and your extraordinary talent on a broomstick. I have to admit my true feelings for you. You are my one, only, and true love. Please say you feel the same way about me.

Love,

Your Secret Admirer

Oliver laughed. "How obvious." He said to himself. He went down the stairs and up to the third year girls' dormitory and pushed the door open. He saw Parvati and Lavender sitting on the floor with makeup scattered everywhere. "Funny, funny," he said to Lavender as he sat down beside her.

"What's funny?" she asked him.

"This letter!" he said as he started to laugh as he handed the letter to Lavender.

Lavender read the letter and gasped. "I didn't send this letter!" she exclaimed as she handed the letter back to him.

"Right…" Oliver said sarcastically.

"I didn't send this letter!" she said again a little louder.

Oliver stopped laughing and said, "Yes, yes you did."

"No, I didn't," Lavender said to Oliver seriously.

Right then, Hermione came through the door. She saw Oliver and screamed. "AHHHHH!"

"Hermione, calm down. Its just Oliver!" Parvati said, trying to calm her down.

"H-He's n-not s-s-supposed t-to b-b-e h-ere!" stuttered, as if scared that Oliver would suddenly attack any one of them.

"Hermione…its just Oliver. He's not scary!" Lavender said, taking hold of Oliver's hand. "See? He's not going to attack any of us!"

"Well, I better be going," Oliver said. He kissed Lavender's cheek and went down to the Common Room. He started to study the letter, observing the handwriting. He must have been there for a very long time because Harry walked through the door.

"Hey, what are you still doing up?" he asked Oliver, sitting down beside him.

"I got this secret admirer letter," Oliver said, not taking his eyes off of the letter.

"How much do you want to bet that it's from Lavender?" Harry said to him.

"No, I already asked her and she said that it wasn't," Oliver said to him.

"Oh, well, I'm going up to bed. Is Parvati still up?" Harry asked.

"I don't know, but I wouldn't go up there if I were you. Hermione got a little freaked out when I was up there…" Oliver said to him as he headed towards the third year girls' dormitory.

"Harry!" Parvati said as she and Lavender came down the stairs to the Common Room.

"Hey! I just wanted to say goodnight," he said kissing her cheek.

"Goodnight, Harry," Parvati said to him as she and Lavender went to sit with Oliver. Lavender took her usual seat by Oliver and put her head on his shoulder and Parvati took her usual seat across from them. "Hey, what's the matter?" she asked Oliver.

"Nothing," he replied.

"Hedwig has something for you…" Ron said sleepily to Harry as he entered his dormitory.

"Oh, thanks," he replied to Ron who fell back asleep.

He went over to his bed, and opened the letter. It read:

My Dear Harry,

Your black hair and green eyes enchant me, every time I see you. Your braveness against evil is incredible. I have been holding my feelings inside for far too long. Please say that you love me too.

Love,

Your Secret Admirer

Harry started to laugh. "HAHAHAHA!!!" 'She is too much,' Harry thought as he exited the dormitory and went down to the Common Room. "Very funny, Parvati."

"What?" she asked him.

He handed her the letter. Her eyes got very wide and she said, "I didn't write this."

"You two are in this together, aren't you?" Oliver said to them. "I mean, what are the chances that we both get love letters the exact same night?"

"I don't know but these love letters suck I would never write a love letter this bad," Lavender said to them. "I swear on Merlin's Beard that we didn't write those letters."

"If you two didn't write them, then who did?" Harry asked them.

"I don't know," Parvati whispered back.
