"Have you noticed how cute Harry looks lately? I was checking him out during Transfiguration," Parvati Patil said as she picked up a gold bottle of nail polish and started applying it to her fingertips.

"No...he doesn't look all that different to me," Lavender Brown said as she picked up a red bottle of nail polish and started applying it to her fingernails. "But have you seen Oliver lately? I have been sneaking around outside to watch his Quidditch practices. He even practices if no one else is there."

"Nahhh... Harry looks lots better..." Parvarti said.

Just as she said that, Hermione walked into the dormitory with a bag load of books and said, "Oh, so one of you likes Harry? I knew it was only a matter of time."

"She does! She does!" Lavender said pointing her wet fingernail at Parvarti. "I like Oliver!"

"Well, I guess that you two will be interested in this then. I was talking to Harry and Oliver and it seems that they fancy someone too," Hermione said as she picked up some more books.

"Who? Who? Who?" they asked.

"It's none of my business!" Hermione said as she walked out of the dormitory with more books.

Parvati and Lavender jumped up and followed Hermione out to the Gryffindor Common Room. "Be a girl for once! Blab your mouth and spill your guts!" Parvati said.

"Where are you going?" yelled Lavender as Hermione exited through the portrait hole.

Parvati and Lavender ran after Hermione with half painted fingernails and when they caught up with Hermione, she said, "There is a revised copy of Hogwarts, A History in the library and I want to be the first one to check it out," Hermione explained without even stopping to look at them.

"It'll be there tomorrow! You're the only one that checks them out anyways!" Parvati said.

Then, Hermione stopped dead in her tracks, dropped her bag. And turned around with fire in her eyes. That sort of fire in her eyes only came once before when she found out that she had a 148% on her Defense Against the Dark Arts exam instead of a 150%. Then, she said, "Tomorrow? Tomorrow! You expect me to wait till TOMORROW?!" Hermione yelled as Parvati and Lavender were cringing in fear.

"What if that Ravenclaw Prefect...Penelope Clearwater gets it before I do again? I swore I'd never let that happen again! Never!" she yelled as she started picking up her books and walking away muttering something that sounded strangely like "Revenge is sweet..."

Then, Parvati and Lavender followed Hermione at a distance. Then, they entered a strange room, full of books and no hot guys. "This must be some sort of torture chamber. Why would anyone come here on their own will?" Parvati said.

"I don't know..." Lavender said bewildered as she went to the nearest shelf and picked up a book and said, "Parvati, come here and look at this! There are all words, and no pictures!"

As they were marveling at the pictureless books Lavender saw a sign that read:

RESTRICTED

"Ohhhh...what's this?" Lavender asked herself as she walked over to the Restricted Section, and reached for the rope. As her hand touched the rope, she felt a presence behind her and turned around to see some old witch standing there looking very pissed. "Ummm...hello?" Lavender said nervously.

"Hello yourself. What do you think you are doing here? This part of the library is Restricted," the old witch said pointing to the sign.

"Li-library?" asked Lavender looking around. "Wow..." she said as her eyes landed on a very cute looking Oliver Wood who looked like he was working very hard on something. "Quidditch probably..." Lavender said.

While all this was happening with Lavender, Parvati had spotted Harry in a far corner of the library. 'Wow, that corner would be great for a snogging session, especially a snogging session with Harry...' Parvati thought as she felt someone tap her on the shoulder. It was Hermione. 'Geez...I hope she is back to normal now...'thought Parvati as she saw Hermione waving frantically to Lavender who was being cornered by a very scary-looking witch.

"Bye then!" Lavender said as she interrupted the scary looking witch's speech about 'Respecting Books and that books have feelings.'

"Who was that?" Lavender said when they were well out of earshot from the library and the scary looking witch.

"Madam Prince, the librarian," said Hermione.

"What's her problem?" asked Lavender.

"She loves books. That library is a place for books, not food or drinks, and occasionally students. If she is in the right mood. That was her good mood. You should see her when she is mad," Hermione said as they walked through the portrait hole.

"When did they get a library? Why didn't anyone tell us about this? Wow..." Parvati said as they entered the Gryffindor Common Room. "Now, for the important stuff. What's the deal with Harry and Oliver?" Parvarti said as they climbed up the stairs to the girl's dormitory.

"It's none of my business!" Hermione said. "If it's so important to you, then you two ask them!" Hermione smiled mischievously, brown eyes twinkling.

Later that night, Harry was walking down a corridor and saw Oliver writing something down on some parchment. It looks like he was about to run into a suit of armor.

'I swear, he is going to kill himself one day...he's going to be writing something about Quidditch and he's gone fall down some stairs or something,' Harry thought. "Oliver!" Harry yelled as he started running towards him. "Stop walking and writing before you hurt yourself! Remember! We don't have a reserve Keeper!" Harry said. That worked. Oliver stopped dead in his tracks and kept writing. When Harry caught up with Oliver, he glanced down at Oliver's paper and expected to see a diagram of the Quidditch field with lots of arrows going everywhere. Instead, he saw something very disturbing. It was a blank piece of parchment with one word written on it:

Lavender

Oliver quickly put the parchment away and started talking about the new play he was working on for the Chasers that had a series of complicated figure eights. Harry decided he wouldn't say anything about what he saw on the parchment. 'It might make good blackmail for later,' he thought.

Then, Oliver said something very disturbing. For one thing, it had nothing to do with Quidditch, so that was scary just in by itself. It got Harry worried. He said, "Harry? Who do you like for a girlfriend?"

It took Harry a few moments to realize what Oliver had just said. "Am I hearing this? Does Oliver Wood, THE Oliver Wood like something besides Quidditch? Has the Gryffindor Captain become the softie, sappy, romantic type?"

Oliver laughed and said, "Just answer the question, Potter! If you don't, then I will make Neville our Seeker!" Oliver said shivering at the very thought of Neville being the Gryffindor Seeker. Neville could barely take off from the ground without almost breaking his neck. No way he could ever be a Seeker!

"Actually, I like someone right now, she's a Gryffindor and in my year," Harry said. "What about you Oliver?"

"Actually, I like someone in your year. She's a Gryffindor..." Oliver trailed off.

Then, Harry said, "Parvati!"

Exactly when Harry said that, Oliver yelled, "Lavender!"

Then, Harry said, "You like Lavender?"

Oliver smiled and said, "You like Parvati?"

"Well, that explains the parchment..." Harry said.

"Ohhh...ummm...you...ummm...saw?" Oliver stammered as he turned several deep shades of scarlet.

"Uhhh...yeah..." Harry said as he climbed up to the second year boys' dormitory. Then, he heard something very reassuring. Something that the overly obsessed Quidditch fanatic would say, "Practice tomorrow at 5:00!"

That night, Oliver had a strange dream. He awoke with a start. "Woah..." he said as he reached for some spare parchment and started devising a new Quidditch play.

A few rooms down, Harry also had a strange dream and sat bolt upright in his bed. He grabbed Quidditch Through the Ages and his wand. "Lumos!" he whispered and started reading Quidditch Through the Ages for the twelfth time this year.

Then, for some reason, he wanted to go down to the common room. So, he did. He went down the stairs only to find that the common room was occupied by a very disturbed looking Oliver Wood. He saw that Oliver was writing something down on some parchment. Harry snuck up behind him and said, "What are you up to?"

"That is a stupid question Potter! Do you even have to ask that question?" Oliver said.

"Yes, because I didn't know if you were writing 'Lavender' again, or, if you were working on some Quidditch plays."

"Quidditch," Oliver said as he started explaining this new play he was working on for the Chasers. It had lots of complicated dives and turns in it, but Harry was only half listening. He was thinking of his dream...and of Parvati.

Then, he asked, "Oliver? Why are you down here?"

"I had a VERY weird dream. Instead of my usual dreams where I turn into a professional Quidditch player before I graduate from Hogwarts, and becoming the youngest professional Quidditch player in two centuries, I had a dream about...about...Lavender," Oliver said putting his parchment down.

"What was it?" asked Harry.

"I was a Keeper, except I wasn't defending goal posts..." Oliver said.

"What were you defending?" Harry asked.

"Lavender...and instead of blocking Quaffles, I was blocking other guys from her..." Oliver trailed off.

'At least one thing hasn't changed. His dreams still have something to do with Quidditch...that's reassuring that he hasn't COMPLETELY gone over the edge,' Harry thought.

"Harry, why are you down here?" Oliver asked.

"I had a weird dream too. Instead of my usual dreams that I catch the Snitch in three seconds and beat the current record of three and a half seconds, I had a dream about Parvati. I think I was trying to catch the Snitch..." Harry said.

"Did you catch it?" Oliver said, brown eyes glistening.

"I don't know..." Harry replied.

"Ohhh..." Oliver said.

"But, instead of trying to catch the Snitch, I was trying to catch...Parvati."

Harry said.

"Wow...This whole love thing is totally screwed up. That is why I like Quidditch! It's always the same..." Oliver said getting up.

Harry nodded in agreement as he stood up with Oliver and headed for their own dormitories.

Up in the girl's dormitory, Parvati and Lavender were up experimenting with some make-up and hairstyles. "What are you two doing up so early?" asked Hermione.

"It is like...three in the morning!"

"Oh I'm sorry Hermione...did we wake you? Parvati had a weird dream and so did I, so we decided just to get up," Lavender explained as she started putting on purple eye shadow.

"No, you two didn't wake me! I always get up at 3:00 on Saturdays...just for the hell of it!" Hermione said sarcastically as she reached for the covers and tossed them off of her. "What did you two dream about?" she asked walking over to them.

"Well, mine was really sort of freaky..." Parvati started to say. "Harry was diving on his broomstick and he lost control of it and he started to fall. I jumped up and started flying...without a broom. I-I saved him. Scary huh?" asked Parvati as she started applying blush to her cheeks.

"Wow...freaky. I had a weird dream too. Well, you guys know that I don't like to fly, right? After that flying lesson where I broke those three nails I haven't been to crazy about flying?" Lavender started.

"Yeah..." Hermione and Parvati said together.

"Well, I had taken a sudden liking to Quidditch and I was on the team and Oliver was helping me...wow...scary," Lavender said.

"You two have it bad!" Hermione fell on the floor laughing.

"Shut-up Hermione!" they said.

"Hogsmeade today; do you want to go Lavender?" asked Parvarti.

"Yeah, I want to go into Quality Quidditch Supplies and maybe get Oliver something, maybe give it to him at Christmas with a card saying, 'From your Secret Admirer.' I might get him one of those bewitched Quaffles. They are made especially for Keepers. They keep coming at you and you have to try and block them," Lavender said.

"No, don't get him one of those," said Hermione getting back into bed.

"Why?" Lavender asked.

"Because he already has three!" Hermione said.

"Ohhh...what should I get Oliver then?" Lavender asked Parvati.

"I don't know, I am getting Harry the revised copy of Quidditch Through the Ages," Parvarti said.

"Ohhh...that sounds good! I think I'll get Oliver that too!" Lavender said.

Later that morning, around 8:00, Lavender, Parvati, and Hermione made their way down to the Great Hall for breakfast. Hermione said, "Do you two have any other interests besides boys?"

"Yes!" they said together.

"What?" Hermione asked.

"Make-up, jewelry, clothes, and hairstyles," Parvarti said as they entered the Great Hall.

"Why do I even bother?" Hermione sighed to herself as she sat down in her usual seat across from Harry. "Where should we go in Hogsmeade today?"

"I want to go to Quality Quidditch Supplies and get the revised copy of Quidditch Through the Ages," Harry said as he took a bite of toast.

Hermione heard a fork drop to a plate. She looked over at Parvarti whose mouth was open, she was looking stunned. Then, she yelled, "HARRY JAMES POTTER! IF YOU GET THAT BOOK TODAY THEN I WILL NEVER HELP YOU WITH YOUR HOMEWORK AGAIN!" Hermione said a little louder then she meant to.

She looked at Parvati and she mouthed, "Thank-you!"

Harry said, "Okay...right..." as he got up and exited the Great Hall along with Ron.

"Thank-you so much Hermione!" Parvati said as they were headed to the Entrance Hall.
