The Fox and the Hound

Prologue

"Oh mey derian si conot luching deein seetyin for makiou!"

Flames rose above the clouds, signifying a turn of events. Smoke, of the purple kind, marked the land. The Ten Loriants sat by the fire, flames barely licking them. It would not hurt. They were fearless. The leader opened her eyes and stood up...

"Ohu jugid hia nut dee senb a'see'e polonono higin!" she shouted as she stood in the middle of the fire. Then, she said the words in English.

"Our world is almost over, and we see the end of the future! We now forfeit our rights and power to the Loriants of the Four. As well, be the guardian, Heir of the Four!"

All the others raised their heads and opened their eyes.

"In a hazardous time; a dark age

Three Children will be born in a right maze.

The first of the three, keeps the stage unwillingly

The second cannot suppress vehemence.

The last will keep and hold them together

As the page burns and goes to whither.

These three together destroy and decay

But only to those who seek the evil way.

Protect us the Great Three!

From what the world will come to be!" the others chanted. their leader shouted as she threw a silver powder into the flames, turning them silver. Then, she took Holy Water and sprinkled it onto the flames, making them hiss and die.

Once upon a time, an unknown author came into the world. She grew up, moved around, and finally landed in Portugal. There, she taught and married a journalist. Then, after having a baby girl and divorcing him, she returned to Edinburgh and soon, went into poverty. Then, the idea for Harry Potter popped in her head and soon, she began writing. Now, five (circa) years later, it has become the most well known phenomenon in the world since TV.

Now, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix has been released, we now know how Lily and James Potter acted like towards one another. But, what we don't know is why they were killed in the first place. In fact, what would it have been like if they had actually gotten along?

With that said, we have always posted, reviewed, and read about guesses as to how they acted and everything else. We have speculated their deaths to no end. I myself have read the first four books maybe twenty times in a row just to find answers. And the fifth book, which came out June 21, 2003, gives no clear answers to all of our questions. They are answered in riddles! Who knows these riddles' answers? Only Joanne Kathleen Rowling does.

Now this is my creation, from my imagination. Only one part is a true story. I do not own any of the characters you recognize, only the ones who make a brief appearance, are of my creation for a bigger part, or the mystery identity that, the character's name comes from J.K.Rowling's creation. I own her real identity. Mind that is the only thing that will correspond with the fifth book.

Now, this is our real world and the story that is about to take place, is their world......

This is their story. It all starts with a little fight............

The End of Sixth Year

The alarm clock buzzed off at seven-thirty.A petite redhead reached over and turned it off. She sat up and smiled. Today would be a perfect day, or so she thought. Oh how wrong she was.

It was also the last day at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for the school year. She would be home for at least two months. She got up, showered, dressed, and finished packing. Afterwards, she walked down to the Great Hall, only to be met by the screams of her best friend (and blood-sister), Arabella Figg.

"Oh my God! Today's our last day!" Arabella screamed.

"Calm down, Belle, we'll be back next year," Lily responded.

"Yeah, and so will the Marauders."

Lily rolled her eyes at this.

It was common knowledge that every girl, even the ones in Slytherin, had a crush on three of the four boys. James Harry Potter, Sirius Irra Black, and Remus Artemis Lupin were the most popular boys, and the easiest on the eyes. Every girl was taken with them, all except Lily Mary Evans. In fact, she only wanted a friendship with them. She was the only girl who didn't care if they were going out with a different girl every week, because she was usually hanging out with her best friends.

"I swear, next year, remind me to bring ear plugs," Lily said

"Shut up, Lils," Arabella pouted. "Just because James Potter is after you, it doesn't mean you can act like its nothing. He really likes you, you know. And besides, I can dream, can't I?"

"He is not after me, before me, beside me, or behind me," Lily protested as she sat down.

"Look again, Lily," she laughed. Lily looked beside her, and sure enough, James Harry Potter was there.

"Hello, Ladies. Have a good night?" he asked.

"Yes, except when Arabella rolled over in her sleep and muttered 'Kiss her Sirius and get it over with. You know you want to!' and 'I need you Aubrey!'" Lily proclaimed.

"Don't hate the player, hate the game,"" Arabella replied haughtily.

"Well, I can go and tell him if you want," James offered.

"No, you just stay right here and tell Lily how much you love her."

Before I can think of going on, I must provide descriptions.

Arabella Desirae Figg had light blue eyes and dirty blond hair. She was tall and slim, but wasn't athletic. She attracted boys to her like flies to honey.

James Harry Potter had sapphire blue eyes, and jet-black hair. He had an athletic build that had developed from five years of being on the Quidditch House Team. He was Captain and Chaser. He was also the lead Marauder.

Lily Mary Evans had fiery red hair and emerald green eyes. She was petite and of about medium height. She was the most popular girl there, but didn't act like it. She wasn't on the Quidditch team, but loved to watch the sport. Like Arabella, she could attract boys by the dozens. But the one boy who tried to resist her was James. Of course, he couldn't really resist her.

She was the only one who didn't see her fair facade. All she saw was pale skin, neon green eyes that were overly bright, and shortness. Everyone else saw a beautiful complexion, enchanting eyes, and a petite build.

There are others to go along with these.

Rochelle Alexis Deeon is a brunette. Some say she has black hair, but it is really just dark, dark, dark brown. Her eyes were that of a rare creation. Black surrounded the outside of her eye's colour, making it look like an inside out solar eclipse. Then, the surrounding area is light gray, and then turns to pure silver. After, the pupil is black as night. No, darker. Plus, she was a Gryffindor and Pixie.

The Pixies were the popular girl group. They ruled Hogwarts, saying who was in and who was out. What was cool and what was not. But, they weren't snobby, like some of the ditzy blond Hufflepuffs could be. They accepted life as it was.

Then, the shyer of the girls was Penelope Delilah Corrwin. Penny for short. She had blonde hair and brown eyes that turned to a black with contacts. She had to wear them or else she would be blind by the time she turned 20. Magic couldn't help either. She was a sweet girl and was nice to everyone. Except Snape, Malfoy, or Holocust. She was always level-headed and knew what to do in a crisis. So, needless to say, the girls found her very valuable.

Jena Avalona Potter was the younger sister to James Potter. She didn't look like him at all though! Oh no, she had fiery violet eyes and strawberry blond hair that gleamed red in the sunlight. Her personality matched her eyes and hair. Quick to temper, and quick to rise, this girl would bite your head off if need be.

And then we have the Marauders. James Potter, Sirius Black, and Remus Lupin were as said, the most popular. Then, Peter Pettigrew. The weird outcast.

Sirius Irra Black had black hair and blue-gray eyes. He was an inch shorter than James, but next to him, it wasn't noticeable. He was out-going and shy at the same time. If needed, he would be the same as he was when he was a child. But, other times, he was his 'mature', grown-up self.

Remus Artemis Lupin had reddish brown hair and amber-red eyes. It flopped slightly in his eyes and hung to the side. He was easy on the eyes, as said above, but he was also hard on the eyes in the mornings after he woke up. He was an understanding soul, but had a humongous temper, especially around The Three Stooges. Otherwise, he was sweet, understanding, and good with animals, but not people, and caring.

The Three Stooges consisted of Severus Snape, Lucius Malfoy, and Tobias Holocust. They were the resident idiots of Hogwarts. Not very quick on words or comebacks, though. But they did provide good laughs.
