Dumbledore had tried to control everything, and it had resulted in tragedy. They won every battle but they were losing the war, and he was losing Harry. It was time for a change of plan. It was time to substitute control with trust.

Harry receives the good cop / bad cop routine from Tonks and Remus.

First morning at Grimauld Place but the emotional roller coaster is not over yet. Be prepared for Quidditch, tears and love.

Things get organized at Grimauld Place. Harry and Hermione have a long discussion about House Elves, Dark Wizards.

Party time at Grimauld Place. Harry gives a speech and Ron gets a (pleasant) surprise.

Ron's first date. Ginny confronts Harry with a delicate little problem. Draco receives a visit.

Draco gets an education in what it means to be a Slytherin wizard - from the source. The rest of the summer goes by, including the dreaded remedial potion class. Ginny gets a job and a new love interest while Harry's band of brothers welcomes a new member.

It's off to Hogwarts for a new year but the trip will not be without surprises. Some action (at last?).
