Author's Note:
I am so sorry this has taken so long! I found out I am pregnant and my fiancee is in the military at afganastan. so everything has been so hectic and i just moved so that is why i haven't gotten this up yet. i'm so sorry! hope you enjoy!

Out on the Quidditch Pitch stood Kia Potter, Albus Dumbledore, Remus Lupin, Mad-Eye Moody, and Tonks. All five wizards (and witches of course) were standing on the Quidditch stands staring at a lying form on the Pitch. The still form was none other than Harry Potter.

Kia yawned exaggeratedly as she sat down. Harry was taking a very long time and this was getting very tiring and childish.

“Harry James Potter!” Kia hollered to her brother as she stepped down the stands toward him. “As your sister, I demand you to get off your lazy arse and get this situation taken care of now before I lose my temper!” He sat up and looked alarmed and angry with her.

“Do you really think you can stand there and honestly say that to me?” he asked getting to his feet. His face was red with frustration and he traced his wand, which was in his back pocket.

“As a matter-of-fact I do!” Kia replied while trying to keep her cool. “I can guarantee you that if you try to mess with me you will not win!”

Harry whipped his wand out and at that same moment Kia threw both her arms forward towards him. When Kia did her arm motion, Harry was thrown back 5 feet onto his back. Everyone who was focused on the siblings were shocked by Kia’s magic capability. She didn’t seem to notice as she raised her arms towards the sky. Harry unexpectedly lifted upward following every motion Kia’s hands were doing.

Harry was lying confused and dizzy at Kia’s feet when she began talking again.

“Now as I was saying, Harry Potter, dear brother of mine,” she said as she started pacing around him, “you don't want me to lose my temper. Now, I am your sister and if you stay quiet I will explain how I am here without the rest of the Wizarding World’s knowledge.”

“It all started we you two were born,” Dumbledore interrupted. “The Dark Lord was at his highest power and I wished to Lily to take care of the two of you. They were frightened for your safety, but James had a connection with you, Harry. He did not want to let you go, just as Lily had a connection with Kia, but she thought Kia would be much safer in my hands.” Harry sat up and rubbed his head with his hands.

“Then when mom and dad went into hiding,” Kia continued, “you went with them and I was left with Papa because I wasn’t in risk. Voldemort did not know of me so I was not in danger. Actually, no one knew of me.”

“It was for your own good, dear,” Dumbledore said to Kia. Harry looked up at them and listened even harder then before.

“I know!” Kia replied to Albus with a smile and a twinkle in her eyes that would out beat his famous one.

“Now, when your house was attacked,” Dumbledore took over the story, “your mother’s love for you protected you with a power so strong the emotion scared even your mother. That power was also protected over your sister, so it was stronger when the two powers were together. That is why you were at the Dursley’s house.”

“I continued to live with Papa because his home was my home,” Kia said. “When he came to Hogwarts, I was sent to a school for Advancing Wizarding because it accepted kids younger then 11 if they showed a magical ability. You were raised with Auntie Petunia because the wizarding world knew you as The Boy Who Lived. Got it? Got it! Good!”

“Then when you came to school when you were 11,” Dumbledore took over again, “the entire wizarding world was given so much hope that Voldemort was gone for good and you were the walking talking proof.” Harry gave a deep sigh. These two, who were his only family left, were really getting to him with their interruptions of each other’s story.

“Since the year you came, trouble aroused and Papa had to take care of it so I couldn’t come back,” Kia finished while giving her grandfather an evil glare. If looks could kill, this young beautiful girl would have been the one to end the famous Albus Dumbledore.

“I was working!” the old man cried.

“Would you two stop arguing?” Harry yelled. “If you really wanted to come see me of Dumbledo- Grandfather, then you could have dropped in any time!”

“You just shut up!” Kia screamed angrily. Her eyes turned red and swelled up with tears. She could not hold them back strong enough.

“I have waited my entire life to meet you!” she sobbed. “I was always excited when you did something amazing and ended up in the Prophet just so I can read about you!” She dug in her pant pockets and pulled out a lot of paper clippings. She threw them at her brother and he noticed them all Daily Prophet, Quibbler and also a single Witch Weekly stories.

Kia settled herself down and Harry stood up and walked up to her. He opened his arms and comforted her.

“You are my baby sister,” he whispered. “I should be grateful I have that then nothing at all. I always wanted a family that was truly my own.”

“Well now you got it!” Kia said as she backed away from him enough to look him in the face.

Dumbledore smiled as everything was all out into the open. There were no secrets to keep from his grandson now and he knew the three of them could be a family now. The old man hugged Harry hard and didn’t let go for a long time.

“You know, you’re allowed to call me whatever you please now,” Dumbledore told his grandson.

“What do you wish me to call you, professor?” Harry asked with a confuse look. Dumbledore smiled again, but this time his twinkle in his eye was much more noticeable.

“Your sister calls me Papa, your mother called me Pops, but I wish you don't call me that, and your grandmother called me grandpa. Now what you call me is up to you, but I also propose you don't call me professor any longer. No need for formality with family, Harry!”

“Well then Papa it is!” Harry said.

“As for you,” Dumbledore said to Kia, “You cannot use the last name Potter any longer, so it will be Kia Evans alright?”

“Yes, Papa,” she said. She knew that would happen, but she didn’t know when. She is going to have to use Evans again.

“Ready to play Quidditch now, bro?” Kia asked from behind the two. Harry turned to her and gave her a glare.

“Only if you don't get afraid of me and my talent and run away again!” he told her.

“I flew away!” she countered as he started walking away from her. “Where are you going buster?”

“Flying!” he replied as he hopped on his broom and flew towards the Quidditch case.

“Well we were just discussing you two,” Albus said to his grandchild.

“Good stuff I expect?” she asked eyeing the four of them. She noticed her grandfather’s only normal friend there was Remus. Moody had that wild eye going on and today Tonk’s hair was short, yellow, and spiked. Her eye’s seemed to be different too. They were lime green today and she swore they were orange yesterday.

“Of course it was good stuff,” Remus spoke out giving her a reassuring smile.

“I should get back to the Ministry,” Moody said as he pulled out a Portkey and left.

“I think I am going to practice Quidditch with Harry,” Tonk’s said as she hopped on her own broom and flew towards Harry who was seeking out the Snitch.

“Well I have a meeting to attend to,” Albus said as she hugged Kia. “Now you behave well or I will set Filch after you!”

“Don't worry, Albus,” Remus said. “I’ll keep her inline.”

“Oh, that’s a wonderful idea!” Albus said. “Can you give my favorite granddaughter a tour of the castle, Remus?”

Remus looked at the girl as she gave him her famous smile. He blushed and looked away for a moment as his face cooled down. This girl had an effect on him that no one ever had before. He looked back at Albus and agreed.

“I don't see a problem with it,” he replied.

“Excellent!” the old man exclaimed. “I’ll send Dudley along as well.” Dumbledore left the two of them to deal with the twin’s cousin.

“Well where would you like to start?” Remus asked her.

“Can we stay outside?” Kia asked hopefully. “It’s such a beautiful day out and I want to be outside as much as possible.” She held her arms out on either side of her and spun around in the sun. It was a very sunny day and not a cloud in sight.

“There is much to see!” Remus said as he started towards the lake.” Let’s take a walk around the castle and then the lake.”

”Sounds great to me!” she said happily.

The two walked around talking and laughing as if they knew each other all their lives. Remus knew that Sirius was dating this mysterious, incredible girl, but he never imagined it was Kia.

“Yes,” the girl was saying as they walked around the lake, “we met when I went to Diagon Alley. He was in his dog form and I took care of him. When he transfigured into himself, he took care of me. Sirius was always there through all the rough times and was so understanding of my feelings. I was going through a big messy break-up and he helped me deal with it emotionally. He never knew I was his godson’s sister. That would have been awful.”

“Well he was my best friend for a long time you know?” Remus said with a grin.

“Oh my lord!” Kia said in shock as she stopped walking and grabbed hold of her necklace, as she does every time she is surprised or nervous. “You are the one he kept talking about! You’re the Remus Lupin! How did I not see that before?” Remus smiled to himself as he stopped to look at her.

“I guess I am, depending on what it is he said.” Remus sat down on the edge of the lake and looked as the squid came up to the surface.

“Well let’s just say I couldn’t wait to meet you,” Kia said as she sat down next to him. “It’s beautiful isn’t it? The scenery I mean.”

“I have to admit it is,” Remus replied looking Kia in the face. “That is not the only thing here that is though.” Kia looked at him and smiled. She reached for his hand and laced their fingers together and leaning against his chest.

“Well then, Mr. Lupin,” she spoke to him, “where do we go from here?”

“Where ever you wish,” he replied, wrapping his free arm around her knees.

“What if I just want to stay right here?” she asked him looking up into his face. Remus looked back at her and gave her a smile. Good thing she was sitting down or else her knees would give way on her.

“I don't think that will be possible,” he said looking up again and letting her go. “Your brother is on his way over right now and I don't think he would like seeing us together.”

“Kia!” Harry yelled. “Dumbledore wants us all right away.”

As he got into the distance, Remus stood up and shook his head.

“I cant,” he said tiredly. “I have business to attend to. I’ll see you two soon, I expect.” With that the older man walked off leaving the two siblings.

“Well then,” Kia said to her brother, “what is it Papa wants.”

Dudley just exited out of the Headmaster’s office. He was to start as a 6th year with everyone his age and get sorted the day of the feast. He is to go shopping with one of the Professors that week for all his school supplies. As he was walking down the corridor the Headmaster suggested he heard voices coming from a classroom. He got closer when he heard Harry’s name said.

“…Harry is the only on who will kill him,” a women’s voice said.

“What about his sister?” a man asked worriedly.

“His sister is a good-for-nothing-tramp who had Dumbledore wrapped around her little finger!” the women said angrily.

“I like her,” the man was saying. “I think she has the power to do what ever she needs to, and that includes the downfall of the Dark Lord.”

“Why don't we just set off their cousin to the Dark Lord and see the out come in that one!” the women stated sarcastically. The voice’s seemed to be coming closer so Dudley decided it was time to take off down the hallway. He had no idea where he was going until he ran strait on into someone. Uncle.

The twin’s got back onto the Quidditch Pitch and seen Dumbledore standing by the stands next to their cousin Dudley. The twins stood behind Dudley without him noticing their presence. Dumbledore looked at them and smiled then looked back at Dudley.

“Well, your cousin is going to show you how to play Quidditch, okay?” Dumbledore asked him.

“The wizard game on flying brooms, right?” Dudley asked excitedly. “Will I be able to fly on a real flying broom?”

“Yes, it is the flying broomstick game, and if you are able to fly is entirely up to her. She is the one with the broomstick.” Dumbledore smile to him as he got a look of confusion.

“What do you mean ‘she’?” he asked confused.

“Hi, cousin!” Kia said happily as she hugged him from behind. Dudley yelped and turned around out of Kia’s grasp.

“Who are you?” he asked the strange girl. She just smiled at him and gave a grin.

“I’m Harry’s sister of course!” she said as she held her hand out, “I’m Kia Evan’s, your Quidditch constructor today!”

The two twins’s helped Dudley with the rules of the game and taught him how to command the broom to move. After a few hours of practicing, the three of them headed to the Great Hall for dinner. When they arrived Dumbledore told them about where they would be staying for the remaining summer.

“I have a room set up for you, Kia,” Dumbledore told her. “Dudley, Harry, you will assigned rooms next to her, so you will all be close to one another.”

“Thank you, Papa,” Kia said as she finished her dinner.

“Filch is on his way now to show you your rooms,” the old man said as he got up from his food. “I have some work I need to attend to. I will see you three later.” He walked out of the Great Hall without a second glance.

“I wonder what he’s up to,” Dudley said as he finished up his 3rd helping of dinner.

“Oh, no,” Harry groaned. “Here comes Filch.”

“Hi, Miss Potter,” Filch said as he approached them.

“It’s Miss Evans, Argus,” she said as she got up from her chair. “Are we off to our rooms?”

“Yes, follow me.” He walked out the doors at such a pace the three family members’s had to run to catch up with him. Harry noticed they were in a corridor near the Defense Against the Dark Arts corridor. Filch stopped in front of a stonewall.

“Okay, Miss Evan’s, Mister Potter, Mister Dursley, here are your rooms,” Filch said as he started to walk away.

“Argus,” Kia said confusedly, “how are we suppose to get to our rooms?” Filch approached them again and explained to the three.

“It is a hidden wall,” he clarified. “Professor Dumbledore wanted you to have some privacy. You just walk right through and the three are all color-coded so it doesn’t cause confusion. Miss Evans, yours is gold. Mr. Potter, yours is scarlet. Mr. Dursley, yours is the green one. After you press the colored square, you will then give your password and the stone should no longer be solid. Now if you will please excuse me, I have more important matters to see to.” He walked off after Kia thanked him and the three children entered their rooms not a second later.

When Harry entered his rooms he automatically noticed the Gryffindor spirit. The room opened up into a red and gold colored living room with two love sits and a polished coffee table. It had a small window that looked over the Quidditch Pitch and Forest.

His bedroom was Gryffindor colors along with his private bath. His bedroom had a dresser that had all of his things on and in it and a king size canopy bed with the same bed hangings that are used in the dormitories. His bathroom had a huge Jacuzzi bath with a separate shower that had Quidditch balls and brooms imprinted on them.

Harry walked back into his living room and relaxed into his couch. Not a moment later a thud was heard. He got up shockingly and saw his sister on her face lying on his floor. He laughed as he watched the expression on her face as she got up off the ground and rubbed the side of her face.

“You can enter my rooms through that part of the wall,” Kia said as she pointed to a section of the wall. “I went to lean against it and I fell through.”

Harry thought for a minute, “Well I wonder if we can get through to Dudley,” he said. He then attempted to walk through the part of the wall directly in front of where Kia came in from and thumped his body on the stone wall.

“Nope,” Kia mumbled as she rolled her eyes with a laugh. “Wanna see my rooms?”

“Sure,” Harry said as he finally turned around. “You haven’t seen the rest of mine though.”

“Okay, lets see your bedroom,” Kia said excitedly clapping her hands together. Harry led her into his room and no sooner was Kia jumping on his bed like a little kid.

“Yeehaw!” she hollered. “Lets see the bathroom now!”

Kia jumped off the bed and rushed into the bathroom shutting the door in her brother’s face. Harry then started pounding on the door and yelling for her to let him in.

“By golly, I was just using it for a minute,” Kia said jokingly. “You have a Jacuzzi too? Cool! I like the colors, that represents your House correct?”

“The Gryffindor color’s are gold and scarlet, yes,” Harry replied looking around himself. “Now let’s see your rooms!”

The twins walked through to Kia’s rooms and stared around in amazement. It was all decorated roman style with the gold and cream colors. It had two love seats one either side of a three cushion couch, all of which were cream color with gold trimmings. She had a fireplace made up of white marble.

“Your room is bigger then mine,” Harry complained as he sat himself on her couch.

“Yours were a bit small weren’t they?” Kia asked as she covered a fragment of the wall that was suppose to be cover with a wall hanging.

“Is that a door?” Harry asked as he watched what she was doing.

“It’s nothing really,” Kia said quickly. “Would you like to see my bedroom?”

“Alright!” Harry said with the same enthusiasm Kia had in his rooms. She opened the bedroom door and Harry dashed past her and started jumping on the bed.

The room had a queen size canopy bed with several pillows. It had 3dressers covered in pictures, and small accessories and obviously all filled with clothes.

“Yeeh…” Harry yelled, but got cut off when a husky jumped on the bed and started growling at him.

“Sinja!” Kia scowled. She jumped on the bed next to her dog and held the canine’s nose. “This is Harry. He is the one we traveled all this way for so you protect him too alright?” Sinja nodded her head and licked her face before slapping Harry with her tail.

“That was a frightening experience,” Harry said as he sat down on the bed.

“Well you were jumping in her sleeping spot,” Kia laughed. “I’ll show you my bathroom now!”

The bathroom was designed exactly like her other rooms, with the cream colors with the golden trims. It had a larger Jacuzzi then Harry’s. It looked as if Kia’s could fit 2-3people.

“Okay, you proved your chamber’s are a lot more greater then mine,” Harry said as he left the bathroom to jump on the bed again. Kia ran after him and picked a pillow off the bed and started beating her brother with it. He picked up a larger one and the twin’s started a pillow fight. Kia gave Harry a blow on the back, which caused his necklace to fall loose from under his robes. Kia noticed this and stared in awe for a moment.

“Where’d you get that thing?” she asked shockingly.

“It was a birthday gift from Hagrid,” Harry replied as he stuck it out in Kia’s face. “See, it belonged to our father.”

Kia jumped off her bed and started rummaging through her stylish jewelry boxes. When she found what she was looking for, she hopped back onto the bed and grabbed a hold of Harry’s necklace again. She had a necklace of her own that had a griffon on it. She clamped the two necklaces together and the connected with a click.

“My mother gave this to me when she gave me up to Papa,” she whispered. “Dad owned the other one and they entwined together. It mean’s that the two Gryffindors were meant for each other, Mom and Dad. I was too scared to lose it because it was too pretty. I never knew who had the other one, but I knew you would get it somehow.”

“Harry Potter! Harry Potter, sir!” The next thing Harry knew, something knocked into him so hard he fell backwards off the bed.

“Dobby?” Harry exclaimed as he scrambled up off the floor.

“Yes, sir!” the house elf said as he let go of Harry. “Dobby decorated your rooms himself, sir!”

“Is that right?” Kia asked curiously.

“Dobby, this is Kia Evans. Kia, this is my friend Dobby,”

“It is very nice to meet you, miss!” Dobby said as he shook her hand furiously.

“Let’s go to my room alright, Dobby?” Harry asked.

I’m going to explore the castle, Harry. I’ll be back shortly,” Kia said as they left their separate ways.

Kia went out of her rooms and started walking down the hallway admiring the paintings hanging on the wall. She loved visiting the Wizarding Art Museums, but nothing compared to the Hogwart’s art. She turned a corner and as she got sight of an interesting painting, a door flung open and hit her square in the face making her tumble to the ground.

“Holy mother of god!” she shrieked holding onto her nose. Blood started running down her face.

“Bloody hell!” a man said beside her. She felt herself get lifted up and she opened her eyes to see Remus Lupin. He set her on her feet and admired her face for a long time before apologizing.

“I am so sorry Kia!” he said in a rush to get his words out, “I didn’t mean to hurt you!” A brown dog came out of nowhere and started nipping at Kia’s sleeve.

“Remus,” Kia said as she started walking down back to her chambers closely followed by the dog, “I know it was an accident so I wont put the blame on you.” He stared after her in shock. Why wasn’t she upset? He thought he broke her nose by the way it was bleeding.

“Where are you going?” he asked as he ran to catch up to her.

“My bathroom!” she said as if it was the most obvious thing, “I need to get this taken care of.”

“I can heal is for you if it is broken,” Remus tried saying in an honorable manner.

“I can heal it myself,” she said as she got to her door, “I just need to use a mirror.”

“Black unicorn,” she said and her gold square lit up indicating she was able to enter. Remus watched her as she and the dog walked through the wall. He walked in after her and found that she had quickly conjured up some tea.

“Make yourself at home!” She walked into her rooms to clean up.

Remus sat himself down, but couldn’t think of tea when Kia was bleeding so badly. He found another dog sleeping underneath the coffee table and he started tugging on the tail. The dog came out and started growling at him.

“You hurt me, so now she’s upset.” Kia came out of the room and sat down next to Remus. “Her name is Sinja, and the brown one is Ginger. They protect me by no cause.”

“Almost like the Dogs of Fate,” Remus said. Kia gave him a strange look so Remus went on to explaining. “The Dog’s of Fate are two dogs that have the ability to protect their owners. They have magical powers and are known to be very loyal. One comes to you when they sense you are hurt, the other comes to you when they sense you are in grave danger, like when you’re about to die.”

“They are the Dog’s of Fate,” Kia said looking at him. “How do you know about them?”

“I studied them when me and my friends were in school,” Remus said. “Where did you find them?”

“They came to me,” Kia said as she called Sinja onto her lap. “Sinja is the one that is there when I am in danger. Ginger came because I was hurt. They come in handy a lot, but they are like my little babies.”

Remus finally took time to get a good look at the girl and it looked like she did a pretty good job healing herself. He then noticed that it wasn’t just her nose he was staring at, but the beauty she had and carried. He watched as she played with Ginger and had to smile every time she did. She seemed so flawless.

“Would you like something else to drink?” she said as she noticed the two teacups were empty.

“No, I’m alright with tea,” Remus said as he reached for his cup. Kia reached for hers at the same time crossing their arms. Kia pushed his arm out of the way.

“You’re in my way damn it!” she said jokingly. Remus started pushing her arm out of the way which led to a lot of poking, pinching and laughing.

Just when Kia was about to poke him in the chest, Remus grabbed hold of her arm and they both realized how close to one another they are. With their faces just inches apart, Kia took it into her own hands for closing the space between them. She wrapped her arms around Remus’s neck and kissed him lightly. Remus quickly responded by holding onto her and kissing her more eager for more and much more passionately. When they finally broke apart they were short on breath and red in the face. Kia smiled up at him as he cupped her face.

“You’re wonderful in every way,” he said before kissing her again. “Out on the Pitch the first time I saw you, I couldn’t stop watching you.”

“You were outside that day?” she asked confused. “Why didn’t you approach me then?”

Remus looked at her for a moment before turning more serious.

“I need to go,” he said as he got up to leave.

“No,” Kia begged, then she remembered that it was a full moon that night she arrived.

“This isn’t right, Kia,” Remus said. Kia stood up and held onto his shoulder. She kissed him hoping he would be reminded of what they were sharing. She felt him hesitate for a moment, but parted his lips for entrance wanting more. When they broke apart Kia gave him a pleaded look.

“Please, Remus,” she whispered. “I don't care about you being werewolf. I know the real you, I like you no matter what. Please don't take that away from me.”

“You honestly don't care?” he asked a bit unsure. She sat down and pulled him with her on the couch.

“That isn’t what you are,” she said softly, “You are so much more then that. That is only a part of you and I like all of you anyways. You heard what I said this morning-“ She was interrupted when Remus caught her lips with his own.

“I’m sorry I jumped to conclusion,” he said as she cuddled up in his lap.

“It’s alright,” she mumbled into his shoulder, “I’ll even spend the full moon with you if you want me to.”

Remus grabbed hold of her face and made her look at him, “I will not risk you getting hurt, I don't want you out there with me.”

Kia gave me a kiss on the cheek before replying, “Do you honestly think that I am not an Animagi when I have been attending an advanced wizarding school since I was 3?”

“What?” Remus asked not sure whether to believe her or not, but just then Kia hopped off him and transformed herself into a beautiful black unicorn. She was pure black with a silver mane and tail with a shimmering horn. The creature had large silver feathers making up her wings. All too soon she changed back.

“Told ya,” she giggled. She quickly checked her watch and realized it was almost midnight. “damn it, I need to check on Harry or else he’ll come in here and kill me!”

She quickly ran through the wall and into Harry’s living room. He wasn’t in sight so she assumed he was already sleeping. She walked into his bedroom and jumped into his bed next to him.

“Kia?” Harry mumbled.

“I’m right here, silly,” she chuckled and wrapped an arm around his body.

“Where have you been?” he asked cautiously. “You didn’t get lost did you?”

“No, I ran into Remus and we talked for a little bit and now we are just sitting around,” she explained.

“I’m not as stupid as some think, sis” Harry said searching for his glasses.

“What’s that suppose to mean?” she asked pretending to be offended.

“Meaning, I see the way he looks at you,” Harry noted. “All the males here look at you different, but Remus is the only one you look that way back to.”

“I don't know what you are talking about!” she giggled. “I need to go, he’s waiting for me.”

She jumped out of her brother’s bed and dashed back into her living room. She found Remus looking through her pictures. She came up behind him and wrapped her arms around him and looked over his shoulder. He was looking at a photo of Kia and Sirius when they were in Africa together.

“You really miss him don't you?” Kia asked. He turned around and held onto her as well. “I know how you feel. I didn’t even know about it until I got here. Imagine not knowing your boyfriend was gone for months?”

Harry came walking in before either could say another word. It looked like he was half-asleep and he wasn’t wearing his glasses. He stopped right in front of Remus and looked him square in the eye.

“Kia got me counting numbers so listen up,” he told Remus, “one: you will not hurt my sister in any way physical or emotional or I will hex you. Two: she will be back in her quarters at a decent hour or I will hunt both of you down and hex you. Three: If you make her do anything she doesn’t want to, I will break your hands and hex you. Goodnight.” With that Harry left a very stunned looking Remus and a laughing Kia.

“Well he didn’t say you couldn’t stay,” she teased. Remus took the offer and followed Kia to her bedroom. When Kia got to the door, she turned around and looked Remus in the face.

“But before anything happens, I need to know where we will be heading,” she said seriously.

“You’re mine, and I’m yours,” Remus said as he held onto her waist. She gave him a devilish grin and put up locking and silencing charms around her room.

Kia awoke at 6am with strong arms protectively around her. She turned and smiled as the events came back to her of last night. Remus was quite a gentleman and didn’t rush things, which meant a lot to Kia since she was still getting over Sirius.

She untangled herself from Remus’s arms and walked into her living room. She drew the curtains from a small doorway leading outside and stepped out on the balcony. There was a small bench with a tiny table next to it. Kia sat down on the bench and took a cigarette from her pack on the table. She knew smoking was bad for her, but she felt she would quit on her own. Every morning she would get up and run 5miles around the house her school rents out for her everyday. She didn’t expect to be able to jog every morning since her arrival at Hogwarts, but then her eyes lay on the Quidditch Pitch. She put her cigarette out went back inside to change into her running gear.

Remus woke up when he heard a door open and close again. A few moments later he saw Kia come into view. She seemed to be looking for something in her dresser and by the looks of it, she didn’t get herself dressed yet.

“What are you doing?” he asked her, which made her jump backwards.

“I’m going for a run,” she confirmed as she slipped into shorts and put on a sport’s bra. “Would you like to come?”

“Nah,” he said stretching out on the bed, “and I don't want you to either.” He motioned for her to get back into bed.

“I will be back if you wait here for me,” she said as kissed him lightly and got ready to leave.

“I need to get a change of clothes from my quarters,” Remus said, “but I will be here waiting for you when you get back.”

Kia smiled warmly, “Good,” she said as she took her leave.

Remus got out of bed and put his clothes back on. He left Kia’s rooms, but just as he started down the hallway, he bumped into Harry Potter.

“Harry,” Remus said hoping he wont get suspicious of his presence, “good morning. What are you doing up this early?”

“I couldn’t sle- Wait just a minute!” Harry said, pulling his wand out. “What the hell are you doing here?”

“Now, Harry. You don't want to do anything like that!” Remus said urgently. “I like your sister a lot and she means the world to me too!” Harry put his wand away as he chuckled to himself.

“Remus,” Harry said as he patted the man on the back, “I’m glad she is with you. It could be worst. She could have chosen Marty or even worst, Severus! Yuck! But anyways, are you off to get Kia a birthday gift?”

“What?” Remus asked confused. “Bloody hell!” With that, the older man dashed down the hallway leaving Harry to look after him.

After Kia returned from her run, she rushed back to her room hoping to find Remus there waiting for her. When she entered her rooms, he was no where to be found so she thought she would stop in and say hello to Dudley. He was after all her cousin too, but she felt he was never very fond of her. As she went to exit her rooms, Remus came running in past her, making her fall to the floor.

“You always have to see me on the ground, don’t you?” Kia cursed as her emotions made one of her flower vases burst in pieces.

Remus stood over her shocked, "I'm so sorry, Kia! I thought you were still out running!"

He helped her up off the floor and Kia caught her breath before fixing her flower vase.

"I'm sorry, honey. i shouldn't have gotten so upset over something so stupid," Kia said as she wrapped her arms around his neck. "Where were you anyways?"

"I had to take care of some important business," Remus replied as he kissed her on top of her head. "You should get dressed. Breakfast is about to begin."

As the twins walked to the Great Hall with Dudley, they made serveral stops as Dudley had to make conversation with any of the paintings that would talk to him.

"I cant get over the fact that paintings can talk and think on their own," Dudley said to Kia as they entered the Great Hall.

"What did you do with my cousin?" Harry asked, giving Dudley a curious look. "I thought you hated everything about magic?"

"That was until I found the truth about it," Dudley said as he shoved Harry lightly. "Father made magic seem so evil, but Professor McGonagall has been teaching me so many cool things about it! There is so many things you can learn and still have more to know about it!"

"Okay," Kia said to the two boys, "lets just eat!"

Kia sat between Remus and Harry while Dudley sat right across from her.

"What have you been learning lately, Dudley?" Kia asked curiously.

"Well, Professor McGonagall has been teaching me first year material," he replied. "I learned some spells and charms and afew potions. It is really interesting."

"When is your next meeting?" Harry asked as he stuffed his face with eggs.

"I have to report to the Transfiguring classroom when I am through eating," Dudley said as he rushed through his food.

"You are so silly!" Kia exclaimed as she tried to hold back her laughter.

"Well I am done!" Dudley announced to his cousins as he stood up from his chair. "I'm off to class now."

The twins watched as Dudley ran out of the Great Hall excitedly.

"That is just too strange," Kia chuckled as she sat back in her chair.

"I told Hagrid that we would stop by after breakfast," Harry said as he finished off his plate.

"Alright, I haven't been to see Hagrid in a while!" Kia said. She got up from her chair and kissed Remus on the head before exiting out with Harry.

"Why does Hagrid want to see us so early?" Kia asked as they walked outside towards the small hut.

"I really dont know," Harry replied. "I didn't ask him."

They reached Hagird's hut and Harry opened the door. Not a second later did Fang jump Kia making her fall to the floor. Moments later, Hagrid came to the door yelling at the hound.

"Fang! Control yourself!" Hagrid yelled as he pulled the oversized dog off Kia. The girl started laughing as Fang licked inside her ear.

"I'm sorry 'bout that," Hagrid said as Kia finally got to her feet. "He usually lis'ens to me,"

"It's no problem, Hagrid," Kia said over her shoulder as she started making some tea.

"How have you been doing, Hagrid?" Harry asked as he sat down in a dining chair.

"I've been doin' alrighty, 'Arry," Hagrid replied as he sat down as well. "Jes preparing for classes an' all."

"You have anything interesting for class planned?" Kia asked as she poured the two boys some tea.

"Yea', but es all a surprise," he said mischieveously as he sipped on his tea. He looked over at Kia as she waved her hands around the kitchen.

"Kia?" Hagrid asked curiously, leaning back in his chair, "What are yer doin'?"

"Nothing, Hagrid," she replied as she grabbed a plate from the cupboard. She turned around carrying a plate filled with cookies and sat the on the table in front of the boys.

"I made three kinds," she said, "Oatmeal and raisens, peanut butter, and chocolate chip."

They two boys looked at here with bewildered looks on their faces.

"What?" she questioned as they both stared at her. "I didn't poisen them, they are edible."

The two dug into the cookies. They started talking about school, Quidditch, and the new classes. When it was lunch time, Hagrid literally pushed the twins out of the door and told them that lunch was a very important meal.

"That was strange," Kia said as they made their way into the castle. "What do you expect he has planned?"

"I dunno," Harry replied. "He has never just pushed me out of his home before."

They reached the Great Hall, but for some reason the doors were closed.

"I didn't think they ever closed these doors," Harry exclaimed as Kia pulled the door open.

When they entered, their eyes got wide with shock. Dumbledore was standing in front of almost 200 people with several banners that read: Happy Birthday Harry and Kia.

"SURPRISE!" the guest hollered.
